Pros: EXTREMELY attentive via texting, which I really appreciate. Super easy to use in every way. Cons: Might have been a bad night, but my stuff was 55 minutes late and came at 10:50pm. At least it arrived! Stellar job cleaning my slacks and white blouse with obvious stains, but the pit-stains on my silk blouse were unchanged. It will require another dry cleaning. I love love love this service. I hate doing laundry, and I hate having to go to and from the dry cleaner. I have had the best experience with their pick up and drop off. I have had multiple things that needed to be repaired ( buttons, torn seams etc) and they were able to fix them all with out any issues. Rinse makes my life easier. I've been burned by pick/up drop/off laundry service in the past, so I was hesitant to try it again. Rinse actually takes the time to catalog each item you give them and sends an email with photographs of each article, so there is zero chance of something being lost in the mix, total accountability. My clothes come back perfect, straight to my door, no rush-hour stops at the cleaner, it's kind of ideal. So far so good, no problems, always on time and always convenient. Thanks guys! read more

I am beyond impressed with Rinse. Our washer needs to be repaired and we can't get anyone here until next Friday, but we still need clothes, amirite? We loved this service. Super brilliant. Going to the dry cleaner is a pain. Enter this amazing service which will come pick up your clothes for you. Either dry clean or wash and fold services on virtually whatever you would want to be cleaned. They come get it from you and drop it off. The prices are probably on the pricier end but you are getting a delivery service! Plus they don't let you tip the valets that come to do the deliveries so no extra cost there. This company is dreadful beyond words. One can't even begin to describe the nightmare that is Rinse. If you care at all about your clothing, please avoid this place at all costs and tell anyone you know to avoid this place like the plague. Their tag line on their webpage is, "We care for your clothes." It really should be, "we couldn't care less about your clothes, or you for that matter - all we want is your money." When I first started using their services, I had a few questions and was hoping to talk with someone to make sure I felt comfortable with everything prior to having one of their drivers (more on them later) come out to my residence. My first mistake here was believing the hype about their "knowledgeable", "friendly", and "expert" clothing care service team. In reality, their customer service team seems to consist of bored teenagers having to perform community service for some misdemeanor they committed. They show little to no professionalism, they don't seem to keep a record of any issues because it took them at least an hour to respond, and at times it felt like I was dealing with a bot because the text responses seemed like generic phrases instead of someone actually understanding what was going on. Next, in this series of unfortunate events known as "The Rinse Experience" was their drivers. Here, it really depends on the individual. Some of their drivers are very personable and seem to care about their job and make an effort to provide a good experience to their customer, but by and large the vast majority of their drivers couldn't care less. One particularly dreadful experience, my driver smelled of weed and acted completely tweaked out of their mind. I personally don't care about any of that, but I do care that my clothing wreaked of that smell that I couldn't wear any of it. It smelled so bad, I had to take it to my local dry cleaners to have them re-clean it. In addition, if you miss your pick-up or drop-off time, forget about seeing your clothes for a good while. The company claims that between the hours of 8 PM and 10 PM their valets will be available. They even have a message they send when you aren't available at your scheduled time that they are happy to circle back at the end of their scheduled route. This is not true at all. Their drivers will not go back and some are quite rude about it too - some send condescending messages scolding you for missing your scheduled stop, or some will flat out ignore you. Lastly, their pricing is a complete rip-off. They charge by the pound for Wash and Fold items with the minimum cost being $26.25 for 1-15lbs. bag of laundry ($1.75/lbs. with a 15 lbs. minimum). What they don't tell you is that is the pricing for every bag you submit to them. If you meet the minimum in one bag, but don't meet it on the second bag, guess what you will still be charged 26.25 per bag even though the total weight of the order was well over their minimum. Good luck trying to dispute what they charge you, or getting an accounting of how they arrive at their totals - first you won't get a hold of anyone (they must take pride in not having a phone number to speak to an actual human being), and second no one on their customer service team seems to be able to answer direct questions. In the end, what they claim to be and what they really are not even close. They use words like "care", "expert", "friendly", and "high-quality", but in reality, they don't care, they are not experts in what they claim to be, nor are they friendly, and they are high on something, but it is not quality. Other people I know who have used their services have had personal items lost, billng problems, and / or their clothes were returned in worse quality than before. Your money is better spent supporting your local dry cleaner than this company. read more

By far the worst service ever. They operate like a start up company which they are. I had asked my valet rep to dry clean my comforter and it was going to be ready the next day. I go to find out that it was going into the wash and fold instead which is a regular cleaning that would ruin my comforter. I was able to have them change it and was told it would be ready on a Tuesday. Then they said it would actually be ready on Monday the next day. I receive a message an hour before they were supposed to drop it off saying they misplaced my item and that it would be ready Tuesday. Then one of the supervisors messaged me saying it wouldn't be ready until Wednesday. This company is a mess and all over the place. This is one example of the many issues I have had with them since using their services. On top of that they are a very expensive service. read more

I had laundry piled up for a month as I'd been ill. I was going to use the community washer and dryer at my complex and wouldn't you know the washing machine was out of order! (For days I hear) I Googled "fluff and fold" and found Rinse. Figured I had nothing to loose....Sent off three king size pillow cases packed to the brim with sheets, pillow, cases, t-shirts, undies, wash cloths (dozens) towels...You name it. Came back as promised. Everything beautifully folded (except for bottom sheets...I can't fold them either!...) I suggested they have the people who do the folding look on YouTube as there are several videos that show how to fold a fitted sheet...I've tried but I'm short circuited with fitted sheets...Like patting your head and rubbing your tummy! All in all, I am totally pleased and will continue to use them for my wash and fold. Delivery and pickup people are wonderful! I've been using this service and so far I like it and haven't had any major issues. They always text me back quickly and answer questions and listen to my instructions. I don't use this service for my high quality stuff or athletic wear. Mostly t shirts, towels, sheets, etc. If I do send an expensive shirt, I kind of just hold my breath and hope for the best and so far it's been fine. Clothes have always been folded neatly when returned to me. I don't mind if they're late bc I'm usually home at night and can leave my bag outside if I go to bed bc I live in a gated apartment building. Once one of my white bath towels came back with a gray tint. I should have said something but I didn't. If it happens again or to something else I will! read more

Updating and raising my review based off my interaction with customer service. I let them know my experiences with the shrinkage and even expressed my concern with the heat being too high for the dryer setting. They got back to me literally within an hour of my message (and I sent it at 10pm) and actually resolved my issues. They even sent me a screenshot of the changes to my heat setting on my account so I knew for certain everything was resolved. Next set of clothes that got sent out came back with no shrinkage! I tried the hypoallergenic detergent as well because I felt that everything was too fragrant with the scented. Didn't feel as good as the fragrant one with the softener so I deducted one star, but at least everything was clean. I wish I could send along my own detergent from the laundress that I like better. Maybe in the future? Either way, I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to keep the service. The cleaning is decent, but I have to say they have amazing customer service. read more

They brought me a door hook and a sturdy laundry bag so I didn't have to be home when they swing by to pick-up and then return everything. I used Rinse for months. I love the delivery pick up and drop off concept and the app alerts reminding me to do my dry cleaning we're basically the only reason it didn't sit for months. I was annoyed that you have to keep all three bags they give you even of you'll only ever use the dry cleaning one. Why?! Have they not read The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up? If I need a laundry bag why can't I ask for it instead of having to store it? I've had a couple of items that they wouldn't treat for fear of damage that needed a little TLC. Their policy was to send it back to me which meant it sits and waits for me to find someone else who can help. Another dry cleaner did. I was annoyed too that there was zero upfront pricing which makes it hard to compare prices. They seem to be relying on being the only game in town with an app. I've also tried iClean which has a less lovely UX but is cheaper, environmentally minded and doesn't leave me with extra bags. But my loads sit around since they don't txt me and at the same time I can't seem get rinse to stop texting me either, annoying. read more

Love Rinse! I personally am not a big fan of doing laundry, but also have a hard time trusting someone not to ruin my clothes. Rinse solved both of those issues-taking laundry off my hand and have an incredible trust worthy service! First of all, the entire process is extremely easy. Coordinating via text with Rinse when to pick up and drop off my laundry. They came to my place while I was lazing around and picked up my laundry- separating dry cleaning and regular wash. Then Rinse figured out what was important to me (non scented laundry soap) and took my dirty clothes! Then, we coordinated what day I would like it to be dropped off and on the day of they texted me to make sure the timing worked and they were flexible with me :) Even better was getting all my clothes! Delivered to my door, nicely folded and organized and all I had to do was put it away myself! My clothes were in perfect condition, folded and organized better than I do myself (and I am type A), and clean! All I had to do was be home for them to pick and drop it off! Huge fan of Rinse. Dropping off and picking up dry cleaning has been a big pain for me, since I'm always in a rush and usually at work when dry cleaners are open. I've recently started using Rinse and it could not be more convenient. All I need to do is leave my clothes hanging on my door, send a one-letter text and they do the rest at a better price than I was getting before from my regular dry cleaner. My first time using this service and I am glad we did. I work 12 hours so my husband is the one who usually does laundry. But since his surgery and other medical issues we've had to use laundry service. We were using one laundry company but their app was so glitchy and their GPS kept giving the drivers a different location. In comes Rinse. I also love that they have a Hang & Dry service for underwear and other delicates. Yes, it means paying extra on top of the Wash & Fold service that they charge by the pound, but you are assured that your items will be taken care of. Did not lose any items so that is definitely a plus. What I liked about their valets is that they "orient" you on the different laundry bags and the other "what-to-dos" involved with Rinse. Wow. I love Rinse. Fantastic convenience, incredibly clean and well-pressed dress shirts, extremely capable stain removal, and remarkably simple to use. Importantly, I am someone who enjoys nice clothes and learned early on from my parents to take care of clothing, particularly if you spent significant money on it. As a result, when I recently relocated to LA, I did tons of online research and tried a few local laundry services and dry-cleaners. However, due to a busy schedule, I also highly value convenience... I want services to be high quality and time efficient in most aspects of my life. I just moved from NYC, where my dry cleaner (or laundry service) would pick up my clothes from my apartment building's doorman after a phone call. I thought that this service represented great convenience since I did not have to walk or drive to the dry cleaner. It seemed pretty easy. But then Rinse redefined easy and convenient for me. First, signing up and scheduling your first pick-up is a breeze. So simple with very little time required. Second, after my first pick-up and drop-off, Rinse then began to determine my preferences for pick-up and drop-off times for subsequent services, providing me with same-day *advanced notice* about when a driver would be in my area later that evening. I only needed to provide a one-letter response to text message - and throw my shirts in the Rinse-provided laundry bag. It was great. I could barely believe how little thought this process took. Rinse was planning my dry-cleaning for me! Third, the Rinse team made it easy to identify and remove stains, which I seem to attract at work-related lunches. Since I left my dress shirts or laundry with my doorman in NYC, I never spoke to the actual dry cleaner except for the short pick-up phone call. Consequently, I would leave notes in the laundry bag about what stains needed to be addressed. This system worked, but I hated taking the time to write the notes about "removing the coffee stain on the left-side chest." With Rinse, I just point out the stains to the pick-up person who comes to my door at the schedule time. She or he marks them, and the shirts come back spotless after using the service 5-6 times thus far. Fourth, the confirmation emails just take the service to an unprecedented level (which sounds crazy given that we are discussing dry-cleaning and laundry)!. After every pick up, I receive an emailed list , which includes (a) service type (e.g., laundry, dry-cleaning, etc.), (b) item description with brand identified, and photo of each item. Yes--a photo of whatever piece of clothing Rinse picked up. I love the transparency and info. Sincerely, Rinse has redefined convenience and service among dry-cleaners for me. You can learn a great deal by a company by how they deal with failure. I sent three custom pillows to be dry cleaned by Rinse however they came back smelling like a wet dog. Rinse went above and beyond to try and fix my pillows and when they were unable to they compensated me with a full refund. Dry cleaners are usually quick to shirk responsibility but Rinse stands out among the crowd. I'm not trusting my possessions to anyone else - everyone should use Rinse! read more

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!! This is the worst company I have ever done business with. The dryer at my apartment complex broke. I scheduled Rinse to pick up my clothes on Thursday evening, so they would be ready for me to wear over the weekend and then for work on Monday. The bag of clothes was returned after 10pm on Friday. When I opened it to get dressed I was first annoyed because nothing was folded... until I realized none of it had been washed. Not even touched. They kept my clothes for over 24 hours and didn't do a thing to them. Nobody notified me that the load had apparently been "rejected" and the "valet" dropped it off without saying a word and promptly asked for a tip. When they finally got back to me the next day they said it was because there were a few dry clean only items in the bag. I was about to take my clothes elsewhere so I could have them clean for work on Monday, but they gave me a credit so I decided to give them one more chance. They picked the clothes up Sunday evening around 7. Texted me at 5 pm on Monday saying the load had been rejected again (even though I removed the dry clean only items they had separated out into a plastic bag.) They refused to go ahead and wash it even though I told them it was fine. Instead, they said they would wash what they could and return the rest... On Tuesday. They also notified me this time that I was supposed to put different kinds of items in different color bags, however, I was only given one color bag. So now they've had my clothes tied up for 5 days without washing one single thing. This is absolutely ridiculous & completely unacceptable. I am livid. read more

My husband and I gave this a shot last week, after our washing machine broke. This seems like a great concept, but I can't even begin to describe how disappointing our experience was. First off, our driver was 25 minutes late. Generally, that's not a big deal, but it was past 10:00 pm on a weeknight. I specifically asked him to NOT ring my doorbell, and he did anyways, which woke the kids up. The delivery driver was also late. On top of that, several of my items were returned with random stains on them. I tried re-washing them to get them out, but that didn't work, so it looks like they ruined several of my favorite shirts. Just about everything was returned wrinkled too, so we had to put them in the dryer for a few minutes to fix that. Overall, it was a horrible experience. read more
