I found this strange plastic item in my soda cup and have no idea how it ended up there. I called Rob's Grill to let them know because I was concerned about the situation. Instead of addressing the issue, I was told I could drive back to get a replacement soda. When I explained that this was not an acceptable solution, the manager offered me 10% off my next purchase. What was most disappointing was the lack of concern or apology, I didn't receive one until I pointed out that an apology was warranted. Finding a foreign plastic object in a drink is unsanitary. It's difficult to understand how something like this could have made it into the cup without being noticed before the soda was poured. Im surprised with the amount if low reviews this place has. The young girl who took my order was beyond friendly, she was very considerate and so polite. The rest of the employees are constantly cleaning to make sure everything is on track and looks good but most importantly for customers health. Ive had their burgers and spaghetti and I must say, the food is always delicious. From my own personal experience ive loved every order ive had. Theres never a time I am let down by the cooks. They have a variety of things to choose from on the menu ranging from classic American diner food like burgers and steak to even some Mexican inspired dishes like burritos, tacos, and nachos. I decided to order the 3-piece chicken tender meal which came out to be around only $7! I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken which was perfectly seasoned, crispy, and juicy. The fries were just as good - they were light and crispy and had enough salt on them to eat alone. The highlight of my meal was definitely the sauce: I believe it is some kind of mayo based sauce and had a slight sweetness to it which paired perfectly with the salted fries and chicken. It was so good that I finished both sauce cups they gave me with my meal! Overall, I would definitely choose Rob's Grill over Cane's next time if I'm ever craving chicken tenders. Love that there's a drive through. The inside of the restaurant is spacious. Every time I drive by Rob's grill I remember seeing advertisements for family packs of burgers and delicious looking budget friendly breakfast. On Yelp I noticed people ordered their famous cob salads and spaghetti. That day I wasn't craving burgers, salads or spaghetti. I thought about trying some fries. I saw a picture of someone posting a picture of DUI Fries, that look interesting and cool. It reminds me of The Hat's Pastrami fries or Pepe's Chili cheese fries. The DUI fries would be a combination of these 2 great fries together. Highly recommend these DUI fries! They are so good and decent portions too. I really liked that the chili was not all running and liquid. It was nice and thick with ground meat. The cheese, was amazing! Talk about cheesy stretchy goodness. The pastrami was tender and seasoned. The asada, was surprisingly good too! I was thinking it would be dried and hard but it was nice, tender, portions of beef. The fries, they were pre-seasoned with the right amount of spices. I thoroughly enjoyed these DUI fries. I haven't tried their burgers, sandwiches or their breakfast yet.
