I've been coming here for breakfast lately. Love their chorizo breakfast burrito and their club sandwiches. They open at 6am and really close to the freeway so it's on my way to work. Love that there's a drive through. The inside of the restaurant is spacious. There are a lot of choices on the menu from breakfast (I believe it's all day) to hamburgers, hot dogs, spaghetti, chicken strips and Mexican food. Whatever your heart desires they probably serve it! First time trying Rob's Grill after driving by multiple times.I guess now with only take out orders it gives me time to sit down and enjoy the food at home. You can order with drive thru or inside. Parking is plentiful. This restaurant is across from the 76 gas station. The outside of the restaurant resembles what use to be Cowboy Burgers. Every time I drive by Rob's grill I remember seeing advertisements for family packs of burgers and delicious looking budget friendly breakfast. On Yelp I noticed people ordered their famous cob salads and spaghetti. That day I wasn't craving burgers, salads or spaghetti. I thought about trying some fries. I saw a picture of someone posting a picture of DUI Fries, that look interesting and cool. It reminds me of The Hat's Pastrami fries or Pepe's Chili cheese fries. The DUI fries would be a combination of these 2 great fries together. Highly recommend these DUI fries! They are so good and decent portions too. I really liked that the chili was not all running and liquid. It was nice and thick with ground meat. The cheese, was amazing! Talk about cheesy stretchy goodness. The pastrami was tender and seasoned. The asada, was surprisingly good too! I was thinking it would be dried and hard but it was nice, tender, portions of beef. The fries, they were pre-seasoned with the right amount of spices. I thoroughly enjoyed these DUI fries. I haven't tried their burgers, sandwiches or their breakfast yet. Perhaps next time.Their breakfast burritos are decent size, not sure if it's competes against the Lucky Boy giants, but I think it's up their in their league. Where to start!? Food is extremely overpriced for what you get, it's ridiculous actually. Very unwelcoming vibe every time we've come here, they always seem bothered by having to help you. Plus it's almost a guarantee if you come here after 7pm, you're gonna get their BS excuse "unfortunately we don't have any shakes right now", (You mean ..."unfortunately, you don't feel like making them, or you've already cleaned and shut down the shake machine for the evening, so you've decided not to serve shakes anymore". Seriously, they're WORSE than McDonald's. This place has terrible attitudes, overpriced menu, and apparently a shortage of shakes routinely!? I would not recommend coming here at all! Decided to try this place because we wanted some teriyaki. Ordered the teriyaki plate and it comes with a side salad. I had asked to have the salad dressing and extra teriyaki sauce on the side. First off, the total wait was almost 15-20 mins, with only 3 cars ahead of me. When I took a look at my food before leaving, I knew it was going to be disappointment. They didn't even separate the salad with the teriyaki, when I have a vegetarian eating too. And they didn't even give me the salad dressing like I had asked for. I think they drenched my extra teriyaki sauce instead of putting it on the side. The food was extremely salty, it did not look or taste like teriyaki. I saw the guy cooking it in a pan with the sauce..isn't the chicken supposed to be like...grilled? As I thought, the food was not good. They didn't even use the container that had a separation between the salad and teriyaki..so everything was basically mixed together..like wth!? The picture speaks for itself. This place is close to work, which makes it a little dangerous for me. Rob's grill offers the typical diner food. I have my favorites. I usually get the salmon plate, Greek salad with shrimp, or the Greek plate with shrimp. The salmon plate comes with grilled salmon, grilled zucchini, a side salad, pita bread and French fries. I try to get the salmon plate with double zucchini, but once in a while, I'll get it with fries. The Greek plate (I forgot what it's really called) comes with shrimp or your choice of meat, salad, rice and pita bread. The Greek salad is your typical Greek salad. Those 3 dishes are delicious. They are pretty rich tasting and I can definitely taste the butter in the rice, sautéed onions, and pita bread. Rob's also offers your typical diner food such as cheeseburgers, tuna melts, patty melts, and etc. The food is definitely greasy and fatty, but maybe that's why it's so delicious. The portions are big. The service is friendly. You can even call in your order and pick it up via drive their. Yes, I can be that lazy! read more

I ordered some chili cheese fries and before i could finish putting the rest of my order in, instead of her asking me if I would like anything else, she just gave me the total. GREAT BREAKFAST BURRITOS. When I'm in So Cal, I'm always ordering from this place. Honestly, I don't get any of these negative reviews. Maybe they should try the breakfast burrito. I usually order the Mushroom , Spinach, Egg , and Hashbrown burrito. For $10, you get a sizeable burrito which is filling in my book. On days that I'm starving, I order a side of hashbrown for an additional $3.00. The hashbrown is nothing spectacular. It could use a little seasoning, but it'll do. Throw in some onions or melt some cheese on it. On my next order, I put that in the notes to include with my hash. The breakfast burritos are very tasty here, so I highly recommend. read more

It would be ok if you would let me know and I can then have the option to pay with credit or cash. Rob's Grill is a casual dining restaurant. They also have a drive-thru. They serve breakfast burritos, omelettes, platters, breakfast sandwiches, burgers, sandwiches, melts, fried chicken, salads, Mexican burritos, hot dogs, and sides. I've had the cheeseburger. For the first visit, The beef patty was incredibly juicy and the sauce was similar to thousand island. The tomato was fresh and the lettuce was fresh and crispy. The cheese was good. For the second visit, the beef patty was a bit on the drier side but it was still good. The cheese, tomato, and lettuce retained the same description as the first visit. I've also had the chili cheese fries and the regular fries here. Both have been excellent. For the chili cheese fries, there was a lot of meat and cheese on top of the fries. The fries on both visits were fresh. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with a lot of potato goodness in there. Service was alright. It was like the bare minimum. No greeting, just straight to the order. On the second visit, I did get a smile but maybe because I smiled first. The food would arrive to the table within a few minutes. The restaurant is spacious. However, the booths are a bit cramped. Meaning there's not much leg room and there's not much space from the stomach to the table. There's also regular table seating. 3.5 stars rounded up to four. The burger was fantastic on the first visit but not as fantastic on the second visit. The fries have been excellent on both visits. I'll be back for another visit. read more

The prices on the Drive thru, Robs Grill own Website, door dash are ALL DIFERENT. You can get a better price if ordering via a 3rd party rather than buying straight from ROBS GRILL...this doesn't make any sense. The food is good, but the Customer Service is terrible. Robs needs to train their employees better when it come to dealing with issues or questions they are not sure about. Instead of raising their voice and trying to be intimidating, they need to deascalate the situation and listen to the customer. The drive-through wait time is still terrible, even after all these past reviews from several X customers. Expect a 25-35 minute wait time. The worst part is that management does not reply to these reviews or doesn't care. read more

Hamburger special is a great deal & price. Make sure to check your bags, when you ask for chili peppers 2 tiny ones and you know they can fit 4. When ask them for more you can tell they get bothered and it's based on the girls face expression tells you all. Gals are non social, loud with coworkers and rude with customers. Maybe they need to find a job at a bar & grill this place is a family business. I have lived in the surrounding area my whole life and had never been here. I came in on Sunday with my mom, she kept raving about their grilled chicken salad. First off, extra points for it being so clean! Right after each party left, there was someone there cleaning. They don't just wipe down the tables either, they sweep and then mop. We ordered, got our number, served our drinks and waited maybe 5 min for our food. It was pretty busy too. The zucchini was delicious, and the salad was even better. The cherry on the sundae was the warm pita bread. Also, I know restaurant ranch is different than store bought, but theirs tasted like it was made in house. I cannot wait to come here again! This place located in Baldwin Park has just changed ownership recently. So i decided to give this another try under new staff. Staff is very friendly but service is slow once your order is in. I have only come through the drive thru. It takes an average of 10 mins to finally get your order. This is a typical hamburger stand but it's good. Tried their chili cheese fries and the chili is spicy and they're not skimpy with their cheese. Their chef salad is big and fresh with enough dressing provided on the side to your taste. Other than the slow service in making the food, i would recommend this place if your not on a time constraint. read more

We stopped in because we didn't want McD's/JITB/BK. We'd never been & went inside to place our order. We ordered a chicken tender meal, club sandwich meal, and three breakfast burritos. The only negative is they messed up one burrito but the recipient liked it better that way. The chicken tenders were big & almost all chicken, very little breading which was nice. The club sandwich was the same quality I'd get in a sit down restaurant. The prices were better than other fast food places in the area. My wife and I enjoy coming here, we ve passed by this place for years, and one day questioned by my wife why we never went, so we did and for the past several months we ve come always enjoyed our burger meals and breakfast meals. Great portions well made. I haven't tried the pastrami since it seems like other reviews had not so nice things to say. I hope they correct that issue because I'd love to taste something new. The atmosphere is calm friendly and inviting at times. This place is known as a cop spot. But we re not intimidated or worried about it. If anything makes it more safe.
