Not only did it take a long time for anyone to even take our order, but they also forgot our waters. It took about 20 minutes before we received anything. We ordered drinks and two appetizers. One appetizer arrived after about 20 minutes, but our drinks didn't arrive until approximately 25 minutes after we ordered. While we waited, we observed several waiters standing around talking instead of helping customers. We also watched two other tables ask multiple times for their checks before finally receiving them. The staff didn't appear busy or overwhelmed, which made the delays even more frustrating. To make matters worse, several tables that were seated after us received their food before we did. After waiting a total of 40 minutes without receiving our second appetizer or even being offered drink refills, we had enough. We asked the busser for our check and requested to cancel the remaining appetizer because we were extremely frustrated at that point. Instead of a manager or supervisor coming to speak with us, the busser returned to tell us that we couldn't cancel the appetizer because it had already been prepared. We paid, took the meatballs to go, and left disappointed. Only then did our server come over and say, "Sorry, we got stacked up." No manager or person in charge ever came to apologize or address the situation. The person who appeared to be the manager simply dropped off our boxed food and walked away without saying a word. This was the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. I've dined here multiple times before and have always enjoyed both the food and the service, which makes this experience even more disappointing.
