Sausage, red onion, olives. This pizza tasted "flat" and tasteless.

2.5 stars. I've now had three full pies fresh out of the oven on three separate occasions, so I think I've gotten a representative sample of their pizzas. The best way I can describe the pizza is that it's bland and lifeless. The oven provides an adequate bake, so that's not the issue. The basic combination of crust, sauce and cheese is lacking. Maybe they need to increase the salt in the crust, or use a better tomato product, or better cheese; it definitely needs something. You've really have had to just bowled the best game of your life while drinking a lot of beer to think that this is a 5-star pizza. It just isn't. On the most recent pizza, I decided to add some Hormel Rosa pepperoni that I had at home; the kind that curls up with tasty pepperoni juice swimming pools. I wrapped numerous slices in a paper towel and put it in the microwave for 20 seconds to give it a quick cook. Normally, this stuff is gold on any pizza, but somehow the blandness of the pizza masked it. It was like it went into a pizza-shaped black hole. As an experienced pizzamaker, I can usually come up with some suggestions to create a better outcome, but I'm flummoxed. I really would like them to do succeed. Camarillo could really use a good pizzeria.

I remember driving by their old location in Woodland Hills years ago and go in there whenever I could. I felt very relieved to see this location still around! In fact, I feel like this is one of the most original places that you can find north of Los Angeles! These guys are legit. #fan4life

The Brooklyn Pie = pepperoni + sausage + meatballs

Had a sudden inkling for a Yelp foodie adventure and ended up, out of all places, in a bowling alley! And ya know what, I'm so glad I did because we chanced upon some damn good pizza. We tried THE BROOKLYN PIE which was loaded with pepperoni, sausage, and meatballs. They do not hold back on the toppings here! Every bite was meaty and delicious. Cost was $24.95, but diameter of the whole pizza is a whopping 20 INCHES! This thing was massive. The NY style crust, the sauce, the cheese, the toppings -- each component was tasty individually and also worked together in perfect harmony. Call it rock & roll or whatever genre of music you want -- it was a symphony in my mouth. We also tried a CHOCOLATE CANNOLI -- yum!! I wish I had gotten 2 of them. Just a small, yet decadent treat to follow after an awesome pizza. Location is inside Harley's Bowl near the corner of Arneill & Daily, behind the 99 Cents Store. LOOK FOR THE RED DOOR = this is the side entrance directly into the restaurant if you want to bypass the bowling alley.

This was my first time eating their pizza. I got the Grand Central Special. I ordered it to go and it wasn't ready. But I can except that, the poor guy had a party ahead of me that he was working on. The pizza was ok. I have to admit the sauce didn't have much flavor. It was a little disappointing. I will try it again. Maybe their other pizzas have more flavor.

There were a couple people already waiting in line when we arrived, but no one at the register. After a few more minutes the people ahead of us got tired of waiting and left. We had already had our minds set on a few menu items to try so we waited. The team member who took our order was very nice but a bit slow at the register. We weren't in a rush, so it didn't really bother us. The husband was quite hungry, so we ended up over-ordering -- House Chips & Cheese, Potato Bacon Pizza, Short-Rib Melt and Pastrami. It all came our pretty fast and it was ALOT (lol)! The House Chips were generous, fresh and tasty. The Potato Bacon pizza was delicious! The sandwiches, although flavorful, were kinda skimpy. We felt that we were biting into mostly bread. The fries were hot and super crispy. Service was great overall. There's a flat screen TV in the middle of the dining room that was showing college football. I liked that takeout boxes for leftovers were easily accessible to everyone. There's ample seating inside and several picnic tables at the shared area outside. The layout is nice with three connected establishments -- Freda's, Rori's and Topa Topa. Something for the entire family! :)

Salads are big and they have a variety. Service is hit or miss to be honest. I've gone and it's been spot on, quick, and attentive. I've also gone and it's take 45 minutes for one pizza to be made. I think they have gone through new employees over the years and when it's new employees working the service can be slow. I know one time I was in there and the kid behind the register was going snails pace...unfortunately this was on the local college's graduation day so the place was packed. I should have known better. Like any place, try to go during non-peak hours. Easier said than done with work and such. We just went on a Friday at opening (12pm) and the service was fantastic. We like to sit outside in the covered patio. Parking is awful as the Blvd is always busy. Just have to pray and try to time it out nicely. I do appreciate that Freda's is next to and in same building as Rori's ice cream and Topa Topa Brewing. Pizza, ice cream, and beer/hard seltzer/ciders. And Cafe Ficelle is also next door so add good iced coffee to the mix! Good combination for a couple of hours with friends and the kids.

It just doesn't hit the same. Not sure it is the crust or sauce but something is off. There's nowhere to sit which is crazy to me considering the quality of the food. Eventually you have to opt to sit at a dirty table and clean it yourself. The pizza is overpriced and extremely overrated, probably due to the lack of option in the area. My party and I all looked at each other and said we won't be coming back. Even my kid didn't like his cheese pizza, eating just 1 slice and taking the cheese off. I was extremely disappointed as this was nowhere near my last experience. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the salad bar was a nice options and well stocked. What's worse is I'm not sure what's greasier, their pizza or the hand soap in their restroom. I tried to wash the grease off my hands only to be left with another film coating the previous grease instead of washing it off. Overall it wasn't a good experience. Well that's this critic's review, until next time, I'll be eating.

I just decided to leave because having that guy in a seemingly good restaurant like this did not come to me with positive vibes and I did not feel like being there. I left the restaurant, called my friends and told them we should meet somewhere else where we would get warmer and positive welcome instead of being welcomed in an intimidating way. Too bad for me I did not get to try the food here. Well, maybe next time.

They have a small parking lot on the side of the building, so we parked and headed on in. When we get inside, we realized that it's a pretty small place. There's not too much to it other than a few tables and an even tinier fridge in the corner with the drinks with some alcoholic options. We paid for our pizza and left, wanting to eat it back at home. After eating, we'd rate it about a 4/5! Pricier than somewhere like Dominoes or Pizza Hut, but tastes better, at least in our opinion.
