Our second visit here Sirina our waitress and Chad the meat man were really helpful. It is my 26th birthday! And they really made my night feel special. Chad even recognized us from Our previous visit. The top sirloin, garlic tenderloin, and pineapple were my favorite! One of the worst if not the worst Brazilian restaurant I have eaten. To begin with the restaurant lack hygiene. We were there around 12:00 and hardly any people so no excuse for the place to be dirty. They only had four different type of red meat and they all lack taste and low quality meat. The chicken was just ok but for $32.99 you don't go and eat chicken. The salad bar was descent but again I was there to eat meat. I've been two at least 4 Brazilian restaurants and one in Mexico and they have been way better than this one. Sadly we left hungry and $150 less in our pockets. We have come here for two of our family birthdays now and it's been great both times. The salad bar to me is really the star. The food is fresh and hot and did I mention delicious? Their cheese balls, Mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes is to die for! They also have a great cold salad area that always is fresh and refilled. The people bringing the meats around are always so friendly and accommodating. You tell them how you like your meat cooked and also my boyfriend really wanted them to bring something back out and they did! In the month of October they do bacon everything and it's such a treat. Shoutout to Rodizio Grill - Mesa - Dana Park for forgetting about Logan and I. They told us it'd be a 15-30 minute wait, then forgot about us outside in the Arizona weather for over an hour. When we went back to ask about the wait list they said they already sat us. Obviously not. Didn't apologize, just said it wasn't their fault that someone else took our spot. Got us a spot, we saw the server twice - first to get our drinks, last to give us our bill. Took 15 minutes to get our change back. Guess she assumed she could keep it without asking first? Salad bar was empty, soup was cold. All the meats were rare or well done, no in between. To be fair, the gauchos were fantastic and the only nice part of the experience. $101 for two for food, two sodas and two desserts. Best thing on the menu was the side of vanilla ice cream that came with my tasteless dessert. Will not be back. read more

First off I want to let the reader know that I serve and bartend for a living as well as 4 other party members that I dined with this evening. I am sharing my experience at this particular Brazilian steak house for those who may be interested or considering another Brazilian steak house. We made a reservation for 10 at 7pm for a birthday and when we arrive at 7pm our table was not ready. Now this is a minor inconvenience and I did not think anything of it, but among all the other "problems" I figured I would mention it. Our server greeted us and got our drink order. we got a couple of Long Island Ice teas and a bottle of wine. The drinks took at least 20 minutes (if not more) to get to our table and more than 30 minutes to get our bottle of wine. I will once again reiterate I am a bartender and I understand a busy night or an understaffed shift can lead to such long wait times. when we addressed that our drinks have not yet reached the table, the wait staff rolled their eyes and were visibly annoyed. This was the beginning of our unfortunate experience at rodizios. Later on that night, my cousin (birthday boy) asked for a piece of chicken that was offered at the table but never offered to him. Now it is possible that the meat server just simply missed him but when my cousin asked to get a piece, the meat server then rolled his eyes and then argued that another person at the table got two pieces of chicken (as if that was even a valid argument). A few things here.... First off why is the meat server arguing with the customer? Secondly does it even matter that another person from the party has a second piece of chicken? My cousin didn't get a piece so there for he should get a piece regardless of what another person at the table has. Thirdly it's a damn pandemic and why are we expected to share off the same plate. I really wouldn't care about this situation as much if the meat server hadn't handled this situation so poorly. But he literally shook his head rolled his eyes then argued with us about another person at the table having two pieces of chicken. After this my aunt who was in charge of this birthday dinner asked to talk to a manager. Mind you she is also a food waiter/ bartender and she is understanding and has all the patience in the world when it comes to this industry. A manager NEVER showed. The same meat server came a few more times and this time his excuse was that he had been there since 10 am. Now that is a long shift and double shifts most definitely suck! But 5 of us at the table have been on double shiftS on continuous days but we would never mention that to a customer. I understand he may be tired and he could have had a bad day but it is unacceptable to use that as an excuse for his poor behavior, especially at such premium prices to dine there. For the rest of the dinner we felt unwelcome by the majority of the staff as if word had got around that we were a "difficult" table. We simply had asked about our drinks that took almost 30 minutes to get to our table then asked for another piece of meat in which the meat server took offense to our request. We are reasonable people and i very rarely take time out of my day to write an essay of a complaint, but the service was so bad and considering it was for my cousin's birthday I felt the need to leave some sort of review. Overall the food was good. The service was bad. The only reason why I gave it two stars rather than one, is because the food was good and they took our bottle of wine off the tab because the wine took so long. For a few more dollars I would recommend going to fogo de chao for a special occasion like a birthday, anniversary, or just a nice dinner date. Saw there reviews and though i would give this place a try. If been to a restaurant like this in wi and a absolutely loved it. I was sat immediately after walking in. I sat in the bar. I got the unlimited mimosas by the recommendation of my bartender/waitress, good idea the flavors of juice were tasty. My waitress was very knowledgeable and attentive. How ever bye me sitting in the bar none of the meat servers came my way. I probably sat for a good 25min and only one meat/server served me . I brought this to the attention of my waitress. Probably waited another 10min and another gentleman asked how I was doing. I told him the same thing I wasint getting served. Right after talking to him my plate started getting full. The food all very tasty. Especially the Pork and Beef items I had all amazing. The chicken was also pretty good very tender meat. They also have and unlimited saled bar with variety of choices. A former coworker from IA is in AZ for business and we made plans for dinner but I had to pick the place . My daughter suggested Rodizio saying the food was good. I didn't know what to expect since I never had Brazilian cooking. Wow was I surprised! The meats were mouth wateringly delicious! Came here last night with a group with reservations visiting from out of town for business. Pretty standard Brazilian steak house protocol, all you can eat. Nice full salad bar, the meat cuts are "ok" as in the types of cuts. But for the full churrasco for $38 you won't expect the premium meats like prime rib, ribeye and filet mignon. This is more of the great value version compared to texas de brazil or fogo de chao. Overall good for the price and the cuts of meat you get but again no premiums meats. An underwhelming experience at a high price. After finally finishing up a semester of grad school, my husband wanted to take me out to celebrate. Upon arrival we were seated promptly at a makeshift table that was clearly not supposed to be there, judging from the location. It was In a middle of a main walkway, that separates the patio from the inside seating. A small table for 2. Lots of foot traffic. That's fine. On to the entrees.. The buffet was just mediocre, run of the mill - nothing special to note. We started receiving meat or should I say chicken & pineapple because that's all that really came Around. We saw the beef come around maybe twice? (Honestly, i remember only once, my husband swears it was twice) And they cut the thinnest of slice. It was delicious and left us wanting more, we left unsatisfied. We asked our server multiple times for more beef selection & I don't eat pork. "It's on it's way.." she'll say. It never came. The best part of the meal? The grilled pineapple. I Must've have 10 slices of it. Probably because that was most offered to us. We were shocked at our bill because we didn't even order cocktails. I feel like we didn't get all of what we paid for. Probably not coming back and will not recommend it to others. I came here with my family to celebrate my new job. We came pretty close to opening since my kids were starving and it was pretty empty, but it filled up fast. Our waiter came over and explained how to all works and took our drink orders and was off. We decided to go with the full experience with meat for all of us instead of the buffet alone. We went and checked out the buffet first. It had a well stocked salad bar and about 10 different hot food options, plus a row of cold macaroni/potato salad type of foods. Our first round over there had us sampling a little bit of everything. The bananas were amazing. The rolls were also super good. But honestly nothing else really stood out. The rice was dry, the potatoes were just potatoes, and so on. The cold salad mixes were the same. The ceviche even lacked flavor and tasted as though the vegetables had been sitting out too long. All in all, it was just meh. When we went back all we got was more rolls and fruit. It was better quality than most buffets but also had far less options, and was quite a bit more expensive. When we got back to the table the meats started coming. There were quite a few beef cuts, lamb, sausage, a few chickens, and one pork. The beef cuts all seemed to blend together and were not distinctive from each other. Some were waaay over salted while others were fine. Almost all were slightly dry. Multiple times we got slabs of fat with a tiny bit of edible meat on them. All of the chickens were moist and tender and each had a distinctive flavor. The pork was a bit dry. The full experience does not include drinks or dessert like most places do. The service from our waiter was friendly but sparse, and our drinks sat empty. Our total for two adults, a 14 year old, and a 7 year old with 2 drinks was $145, not including tip. It was nowhere near worth the price. Yes, the experience is a little different, but when I consider all of the other places we could have gone for that price point with far better food and service it makes me a little sad. It's just not worth the price. To top it off, later that night everyone ended up with a pretty severe bellyache. Sorry Rodizio, but we won't be back. "We have the meats!" *insert Arby's voice* We had a 5:15 reservation and were seated right away upon arrival. The restaurant is large and filled up pretty fast for a Tuesday night. Atmosphere is clean, modern cowboy (if that's a thing) and isn't a tad pretentious like Fogo de Chao. There were people dressed both casual and business casual and several babies and toddlers. Hubby got the signature caipirinha drink and said it was small but delicious. I got a non-alcoholic limeade pineapple cocktail that was coyingly sweet and tasted like a melted pina colada. This drink is the only non-alcoholic wirh free refills but I only drank half of #1. We chose to do the full experience of salad bar and meats unlimited for $32. The other option was salad bar only for $20. The star of our meal was the expansive and delish salad bar. After asking them to refill the empty plate rack, we pigged out on lettuce salads with a variety of topping options, fresh fruit, cheeses, garlic hummus, several cold salads (grape/walnut/gorgonzola, mozarwlla/tomato and the broccoli bow tie were awesome) were enjoyed first. We later went back for a plate from the wall of hot foods to go with Meat Feast 2017. The mashed potatoes were our favorite of the hot foods. As for the meats, the parmesan crusted pork, marinated chicken, and sausage were the winners. None of the beef I tasted had much flavor, although it may have been the more well-done cut I was served. As long as your wooden stick tower (technical term) is flipped to green for go, the meat servers are in constant rotation at the tables and frequently refilling their meat sticks. Yes, I understand that sounds awful but it's the best way to describe it. Ha! We waited forever for the dang grilled pineapple and kept only getting offered parts from near the core, not the caramelized grilled part. It was disappointing because this was supposedly the best and just tasted like microwaved pineapple. Meh. The service was a tag-team effort and everyone was very friendly. They were frequently checking on drinks and our table sides (sugared bananas and cheese bread bites). I must admit that the table sides and meat are much tastier at Fogo but the salad bar options, service, price and atmosphere are better at Rodizio Grill. We were too stuffed to try dessert. However, our server saw that I am extremely pregnant (8 months with twins) and brought over a free flan and they sang their version of Happy Birthday for my upcoming birth. So thoughtful! The texture of flan(like a slightly creamy jello) is a no-go for me with pregnancy nausea but my husband enjoyed it. Overall good experience. Next time, I will only do the salad bar. Took my parents out for Christmas dinner here and the food was good. Obviously everything was really fresh, and the flavors were well done. My favorite was the sweet and spicy chicken, with some grilled pineapple. My parents enjoyed the leg of lamb. You get served really small pieces so you get to try everything they serve without getting too full too fast. The salad bar was good; they had all the basics and offer so many yummy extras. First time I've seen marinated quail egg in a salad bar lol The service left a LOT to be desired and the people serving the meat were more impatient than anything which made me feel so bad for my parents (They're visiting, and English isn't their first language so they take a little bit to translate). Their clear annoyance was a damper. Our waiter served us water to start and never checked in again so we didn't get the wine we were planning to order, so I saved a couple bucks there lol. For being the first Brazilian steakhouse I've tried in the state I'm pleasantly surprised with the food. I'll be trying the other ones in the area as well, looking for one where service is better. This visit was a Valentine's dinner but celebrated late. Location; located right off Val Vista and the 60 near AJ's. Food; This Brazilian steak house was pretty tasty, you can order just the salad bar or salad bar with unlimited steaks marinated in several different recipes that includes meat, pork, lamb and chicken. Also, you can not forget the roasted pineapple that may be my favorite, also they had bacon wrapped jalapeno's that is not for the weak. But thankfully not far after the jalapeno's were served, a gentlemen was not far with roasted cheese that paired it perfectly. I was not a fan of all the meat, but the salad bar completely made up for it. Might be one of my favorite salad bars to date, my next visit might just be the salad bar only. The salad bar included just about of everything, one side was build your own salad which all the fixings and toppings you could ask for. One side had tons of different prepared salads, my favorite was this grape/walnut sorta of salad. The salad bar also included some main/side Brazilian favorites. I'm in awe of the FRIENDLINESS and CHARISMA of *every single employee there*... from our server, Sherman, to the people cutting the meat, to the people picking up our plates. Honestly, even if the food sucked, I would come back just for the experience and how I was treated. But that's definitely not the case with the food!!! OH MY GOODNESS.. It was delicious! As I was going through the salad bar, I wasn't sure about Ingredients so I asked someone in the kitchen for help. She came out and actually walked me around and told me everything I could or could not eat due to my dietary restrictions. She also told me what meats I could eat and not eat as well. As soon the meat dudes knew I couldn't have anything with sugar, they made an effort to bring over more meats that I could have. I was so impressed! We've been waiting over a year to visit this place because we refuse to drive to North Scottsdale for a Brazilian steakhouse and I was a little disappointed with Rodizio. Before I proceed, I should probably note that we live a keto lifestyle so carbs are not on the table for us. Their meat selection is limited and the salad bar isn't impressive at all, however, I will say that the best meat was the "garlic steak" - it's fantastic! As far as price, it was $100 (before tip) and it was just my little family of three; no alcoholic drinks included. There's not a children's menu and the salad bar isn't really kid friendly. Therefore, I will say that bringing kids isn't worth it. ...now I'll just have to drive to north Scottsdale for a fantastic Brazilian steakhouse. read more

Not the best I've had. For a steakhouse I thought the meats being served would be better than what I was given. Too rare or too dry. I'm not being too picky either, they were honestly too rare or way too dry. The lamb I had also had a funky smell to it that my wife also noticed. This is also a self serve buffet style restaurant, not what I expected, but this could be useful for someone to read who was looking for more of a fine dining restaurant. This was a very causal place and j would not recommend dressing up either, most people wear open toed shoes and athletic shirts. Not the best experience. Not the worst.
