I'm so happy these are one of the traditional casual eateries that have survived in this complex since my high school years, past covid and even today. Their kimbap varieties are so fun to try so it's better to come with a few people. I like their cheese ramen and tteokbokki and it's good to dip your rolls into the sauce. Hands down my favorite place for gimbap, the rolls are always jam packed with ingredients and have such a good filling to rice ratio. My favorites are the spicy pork and beef rolls. I also really like the pajun here: perfect ingredient to dough ratio, nice crispiness on outside while still chewy on the inside. There's a variety of different kinds of tables and chairs/benches inside. I personally like sitting on the booth side benches because they're pretty comfy! Service here is always very kind and very fast! Roll House made these 3 items so delicious and I have been coming here for years and recommending this place to a lot of people. Their food is in big portion, filled with toppings and generous sauce, their banchans also tastes amazing and they serve a special type of tea that i really like. Usually the service is fast and very straightforward, but during my last visit the server was lowkey being rude with our table. When we asked for water with no ice she pointed at the tea bottle and told me that's water, then after brought the water out she rudely took the tea bottle and cup away. When we placed an order she acted confused even though we pointed the item number in the menu. I'd always heard great things about this spot as my husband and his coworkers often order their lunches from here via DoorDash so I decided to give it a try for dinner one night when I was craving Korean street food. My hubs and I shared the ddukboki with ramen, the fried seaweed rolls and the spicy pork kimbap. Although we came for dinner on a Tuesday evening, nearly every table was taken. Despite it being busy, our food arrived fairly quickly. I really enjoyed the fried seaweed rolls and ddukboki. The fried seaweed rolls were perfectly crispy and were really delicious to dip in the ddukboki sauce. The staff was friendly and attentive, even refilled all of our banchans (aka side dishes) without us even having to ask. Overall, was a great first time dining experience. Roll House has definitely replaced the previous Korean street food restaurant we used to go to. The only caveat is that it closes kinda early so it's not ideal for late night eats but that won't stop me from coming back for another round of fried seaweed rolls and ddukboki. read more

There's a TV playing Korean reality shows which is always amusing. The place is a fairly casual sit down restaurant. I've come to Roll House so many times and love their gimbap. The rolls are huge and fully packed. The fried shrimp roll has the best sauce in it. It is similar to a honey mustard taste so if you're a fan, it is a must try! The shrimp is always crunchy and never too oily. The other rolls aren't as flavorful in my opinion, but they're still good. The price is definitely worth it! They even have an option where you can order more specific select rolls for a bundle price. Orders come with banchan and soup. They also provide you a pitcher of barley tea. It's a great place to stop by if you're with a friend and want to catch up over a meal. Food is delicious and banchans are plentiful. The cheese tteokbokki with soondae had just 1 roll of soondae, a decent amount of rice cakes and fish cakes, but the dish was heavily cheese. The core of the container was a mix of unmelted and melted cheese. Fast forward to after this meal, I was on the freeway driving and I had to emergency find a bathroom because the poop storm had arrived. Literally explosive and lingering after. Delicious food for a good price point! Large portions as well, definitely had enough left over soup to take home! The half and half kimbap (tuna & beef for ours) were large and I loved the ratio of filling to rice! Usually it's too much rice but this was the perfect amount. The rose tteokboki is a good combination of spicy and creamy (think carbonara-esque) with tteokboki pieces, fish cake and bits of bacon! The spicy beef stew LOOKS extremely spicy but it's pleasant! It has a small kick at the end but it isn't overwhelmingly spicy to the point it hurts. It definitely still warms you up from the inside (comes with glass noodles inside and a side of rice.) The ginseng chicken soup is a new item added to their menu and it's simple in the best way, it's hearty and has a rich chicken flavor to it! Portions are generous. I've had their kimbap, tteokbokki, and soondae. I'm not the biggest soondae fan but I enjoyed eating it with the tteokbokki. I usually order the bulgogi and spicy pork kimbap (which isn't really spicy) which are stuffed with plentiful meat and vegetables. You'd be remiss to leave without ordering their signature kimbap; we've ran the kimbap gamut here and tried the entire menu but keep returning to the chamchi, a testament to how good the tuna kimbap is. Everything else pretty much pales in comparison. Their don katsu is also exactly what you'd want in a classic Don katsu. The crust is light and crispy with an extremely moist interior. You really can't go wrong with this dish. If you prefer variety, I'd order the b12 rice cake and don katsu combo. If you're just bordering peckish, be prepared to leave with lots of leftovers. The portions here are GENEROUS (the serving sizes more than warrant a caps lock), but they don't skimp on the quality. The vegetables are fresh and the kimbap is chock full of meat. I've seen this all the time, on late Nights, going towards the Westfield Santa Clara Mall. Today, I'm in the South Bay Area. There's some really hard Working and good people here. When I got here there were a lot of Korean people, that's a good sign it was going to be good. I'm here at Roll House this Sunday Afternoon. I finally got my Korean Seafood Pancake or Haemuljeon 해물전. I'm surprised it arrived Sizzling Hot in a Skillet like a Chả Cá Lã Vọng or Fajita, I didn't expect that. And I can't have it without the essentials, the Banchan was delicious, and the Spicy Kimchi 김치 was fire. This is such a beautiful Giant Pancake. It reminds me of something between a Bánh Xèo, Taiwanese Scallion Pancakes 台式蔥油餅, and Japanese お好み焼き. The Crust on it is phenomenal, it's Crunchy, got a lot of contrasting textures, savory, and I'm surprised it also got some Octopus in it as well. And I don't know if they used something like Bonito in the Soup, but the Broth is light, and very fragrant. This taste authentic. I was thinking this was going to be a 3.9-4.3 stars, I was going to give it a 4.4 stars, this could be a 4.5 stars on a good day, but I give this 4.4/4.5 stars out of 5 stars.
