Big proportions but I'm Allergic to Avocado, like deadly, so when I order off the little Tablet/ IPad looking thing I ( IN ALL CAPS) state Allergic to Avocado, well today has been the 4th time I walk in and they have to remake my order. And after asking He chef, "this doesn't have avocado right?" He looks at me and says "you never said no avocado" ok sis WELL AM I ORDERING OFF THE IPAD OR AM I ORDERING WITH YOU?????? I've given this place my money and Buisness but when he tried to correct me about my Allergy AS IF IT DOESNT ALREADY STATE ON MY RECEIPT TO REMOVE AVOCADO for my allergic reaction to it is sadly SEVERE!!! This is my go-to local sushi shop. I always order delivery but I have popped in for pick up a couple times. The place is small but very clean. The staff is very friendly. The food is made quickly but well and delicious. The quality of sushi is really good for its price too. I always get the Alaskan Roll and Philadelphia roll because they have a good balance in taste. By far one of the best sushi places in San Pedro. The atmosphere is so calm and relaxing, the employees are the sweetest people ever (they gave my friend and me free ice cream) and the sushi is very cute they even have one named "bts", I really couldn't decide because everything looked sooo good. I ended up ordering "The Baked Tuna Roll" and my friend ordered the highly recommended "Baked Salmon Roll". The tuna roll was really good, and it practically melts in your mouth and they serve it in big proportions. The salmon was also very good, the flavor and the texture was just insane. My favorite part tho is they don't limit how much pickled ginger or wasabi you can have because its self-serve, I love picked ginger so the more the merrier. Trust me, you will enjoy it here. I placed my first order today, and I was pleasantly surprised. I had a poke bowl and salmon sashimi delivered to my home. The presentation, even though it was a to-go order, was actually really pretty. I made some alterations to the poke bowl and everything came correct. It was all absolutely delicious!! I usually have to go all the way to Lomita to get sushi the way I like it, but I was really impressed with my order. My only criticism is, it's basically impossible to get anyone to answer the phone at the actual restaurant. I've called a number of times today at various points in the day, and there has been no answer at all. I was only calling to praise the order too. read more

This was an absolutely disappointing experience. We've ordered from here several times and enjoyed our food. After today, and solely because of how the situation was handled, we will never be ordering from here again. We ordered several items and unfortunately most of the food was not edible. I went back to the restaurant with the food and showed them the issues, burned gyoza, burned chicken, etc. I asked to speak to the manager and he came to talk to me. He told me because I ordered to go from Grubhub, that I needed to lodge my complaint with Grubhub. Sure, I can do that no problem. However, They did not offer to fix the food. They told me they would make new food after I paid for a new order. I don't know how any manager would consider this a reasonable resolution to the unacceptable food they served. Had they offered to remake the order I would have written off the disappointing experience as an off day. however the lack of customer service from the manager now has me in search of a new sushi place. read more
