[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a cool place to enjoy lunch or dinner, right next to The Star in Frisco![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I really enjoyed Roti Grill. It's got many of the usually Indian-cuisine favorites, but also adds some lesser-seen items that really make this restaurant stand out from the rest. At the top of that list is their Lamb Chops! Served in a Masala Sauce and with Vegetables and Yellow Rice, this is easily my new favorite masala dish! The lamb is so tender, and the masala sauce adds just the right amount of spicy and savory. Not far behind, is the Shrimp Malabar. Tender shrimp simmered in a sauce of coconut milk, tomato and cream, this is a must for any shrimp lover. I started my meal with some Chicken Momo, which are nicely crisp dumplings that are still moist and filled with ground chicken and aromatic spices that have you reaching for another. Served with sides of chili sauce and sweet sauce for dipping, these are a great starter. I also tried their Mixed Tandoori Grill, which features Lamb Kabob, Shrimp, Chicken and Paneer on a bed of onions. Each one tender and flavorful. Of course, I also had some Naan - both Plain and Garlic, that I used to soak up all the delicious sauces. [[HIGHLIGHT]]In addition to an ample dining room, Roti also has a full bar, and lots of outdoor seating to enjoy this fall weather.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm looking forward to getting back on Saturday or Sunday morning to try their Breakfast Menu!

Stopped by here for a quick lunch and I was pleasantly surprised! Despite the lunch rush, my party of 3 were seated rather quickly. Our server was friendly and answered any questions we had. I ordered the lunch bento which included two entrees and naan. I like how you can customize how spicy you want your entrees. Their mango lassi is a must-- very refreshing! Will probably be regulars here :)

Stopped by for a mango lassi and a naan after having a disappointing dinner somewhere else. The service was prompt and friendly. The mango lassi was delicious! I devoured the naan as soon as I made it back to my hotel. Made me wish I would've had dinner here instead.

I came here for lunch after a work trip before heading to the DAL airport. The service was excellent. The gentlemen were both friendly and attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It wasn't busy at all for a lunch time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had the box 1 (chicken tikka masala and channa saag), rice and naan. I had a mango lassi as well. The food came out quickly and hot. The mango lassi was perfect and not overly sweet. It was a great portion for a lunch meal. Pukar was my server and he was chatty and friendly. He highly recommended the chicken curry but I wanted to try the lunch special and a few smaller portions of food here. But it did sound delicious. Check it out!

Probably one of the best Indian Restaurants in Frisco. Been there multiple times and the food has consistently been delicious. Their kababs are pretty good as is the korma sauce. The restaurant is really clean. Once you order, it's set up a little like self service. The food is worth a try. The mango lassi is really good! We're picky about our Indian food and this place is our go to if we're craving some authentic North Indian food. read more

Tried going for lunch but walked out. There was no one inside and when I walked in the guy acted like I didn't belong there. I asked if they were open, he said yes and asked for here or to go. I said here and he was annoyed. I assume they do more take out but if you don't want customers inside then lock your doors. Won't be back. Plus the food at the Knox location is better. read more

I love coming to this place! For some good, light desi food. I really enjoy that they don't use a lot of oil and it's not super greasy and you don't leave feel super bloated like some Indian/paki restaurants. The people who all work here are so kind and wonderful, they make the experience even better everyone is very attentive. I definitely recommend this place if you enjoy Indian food but don't want it to be to overwhelming. read more

New location but same quality food. The Plano location was friendly compared to this one. Service is not good even in non peak ours. Tips added before you are seated. You get a number and you find a spot to sit and eat. Our waiter didn't even know the order. Food was good though. Small quantity plates. But flavorful. Do not miss their gulab jamun. read more

The food is just ok. Not good. Not very friendly. The staff pace around as the restaurant is not busy. Ask for some extra sauce and was told that needed to be ordered at the beginning and it was extra cost. This is my second time here. Just disappointed in the food. Wish the service/attitude was better. read more

Phenomenal. So good. Do try! I've ordered DoorDash at least 5 times. I've also dined in. The food is properly packaged for delivery so it stays hot. Dining in is nice too. I've had the tandoori grill, Saag dishes, Curry dishes, Balti dishes, and Masala. All their sauces are outstanding. The fresh Naan and Roti is delicious. Soft and warm. Get the Garlic Naan. The Lamb biryani is really good. Delicious! The Saag paneer. All so good. Modern, simple decor. Pepsi products and special drinks. Good kitchen and staff. They play cool music too. Food is very very sub-par. I was super hungry yet I didn't like the food and ended up wasting. Service is very poor. The food was served without any serving utensils. And to top it, they put the food on the table, and didn't even realise there were no plates or cutlery for us yet. We had to ask for them explicitly twice in order to get plates to eat our food. The only thing this place might score points is its ambience. Anyway, a huge disappointment. I for one am never going back there and I would recommend you do the same. read more

Looking for a new Indian restaurant and I'm glad we wound up here. Great location at the Star. The menu set up is great. Pick your meat, the style sauce you like. We all ordered the platter which was your meat entree in sauce, rice, naan, samosa with chutney, veg side and choice of Indian dessert. Excellent lamb Balti and Chana saag. Others had the vindaloo and chicken masala. All of us really enjoyed our ,ears. Great, friendly service as well. Will definitely be back! read more

The naan is on point so is the tandoori kebabs! It is pricey for the amount of food vs a buffet but it's also at the Star so in comparison it's reasonable. The Bombay curly fries were delicious too! read more

I've tried a lot of different Indian restaurants in the area. This is by far my favorite. It has a very local feel but the food is amazing. I loved the chicken Biryani. A great place for an American who does not know Indian cuisine to get introduced to it.. dish names aren't tradiationally correct but for someone not native indian that doesn't matter . The dishes were not sweet , that i was thankful for. The dishes are prepared from cooked chicken breast meat thrown in different curries , that shows as the the chicken was not tender and didn't have much flavor .. Goat -- meat was good and tender , which not many restaurants get right, but curry sauce was off .. biryani is nowhere close to being a biryani, or even a northern chicken pulao.. it's a bit filled season rice with barely enough flavor .. like I said before , perfect for someone to start into indian food, but please don't stay here , as indian food is a lot more flavorful (not spicy) than they serve here .. BTW , for Indians ordering here , Hot is mild. read more

Strawberry Souffle Pancakes - The strawberries are fresh and delicious. Definitely appreciate that the whipped cream appears to be made in house and not out of a can. The premium pancake option comes with the equivalent of three strawberries and two pancakes with a reasonable dollop of whipped cream and strawberry sauce. Nutella Banana Souffle Pancakes - Roughly half or two-thirds of a banana split in two and appears to have a bit of caramelized sugar on it. There's also one strawberry, a Ferrero Rocher, whipped cream, and chocolate sauce to go with two fluffy pancakes. The entree is definitely well executed and fruits are fresh. Whipped cream is excellent. Overall, this place is a great place to enjoy some fluffy souffle pancakes. There's limited seating and wait times on the pancakes are anywhere between 15-20 minutes, which we appreciate because they do make them to order. The price of $13.99 for two pancakes off the premium menu felt a bit steep for the product. Experience at much better establishments, like Happy Pancake, in Shibuya or Ginza offer three pancakes with a greater quantity of whipped cream and fruits at roughly $8.25 with no expectations on tips. I understand we're in the states and this may not be a fair comparison, but the variance in both quantity and price is steep. Other than that, the product is good and worth a try.

They did not appear stressed despite the constant flow of customers, and they handled everything with patience. Major credit to them for keeping it together all weekend. She is a massive asset to the Hutchins team and can change the mood just by her smile and friendliness. The chili momos were good, but not our fav. The sheesh kabob was beyond dry. We even requested some chutney with it to see if it would help. It absolutely did not. The goat curry barely came with pieces of meat as it was primarily gravy or bones. The 'salad' that we were given cause I asked for chili peppers provided only 1 pepper and got charted $3 for it. ABSURD. There are no spice levels asked when you order food and the flavors just aren't there, nor is the spice. It is suppose to be Indian food - spice is what the cuisine is about! The only thing going for this place is the ambiance. I would not recommend as there are MANY other places for half the cost with better Indian food around DFW.

For the main course we tried the cashew jackfruit curry which is a must try if you're here, it was really delicious. Their tandoori roti is surprisingly good, I say this cos it's really hard to find good ones in the US. Jackfruit biryani was nice too! We tried the falooda but it was underwhelmin. Definitely coming back for more! Highly recommend this place!

Instead of addressing genuine concerns, they were arrogant and unwilling to listen.
