Haven't had Round Table in years. We used to enjoy it when they were in the shopping center where Whole Foods is now. I have to say that a Store bought frozen pizza is probably better than Round Table or at least this location. I don't know what was up with the cheese... But it was gross and not like real cheese at all. And the customer service was absolutely horrible. My husband asked for red pepper flakes and Parmesan cheese packets to go and the gentleman/manager/owner said that they were all out of packets and if he wanted some then he can help himself to the shakers on the counter. Craving a little sustenance, I dropped in while shopping for an e-bike next door. The counter help was prompt and well informed, answering my numerous questions . It was Halloween night.....so I'm trying to be as fair as possible.....but I called the store and gave them very early notice (3pm). Ordered from here three separate times during this COVID experience. 2 gourmet veggie and one Hawaiian. Our food was delivered hot and delicious. Veggie pizza has a ton of veggies on it. Hawaiian has a lot of pineapple. It was steaming when we opened the box which was great! Only negative is the $6.75 delivery fee charged, then asking you to tip the delivery person, who by the way handles social distancing very professionally asking where he can leave your pizza upon arrival. Went in today to pickup some lunch. Recognized the owner working as we have seen her for prob 25+ years in the area. Very nice as usual and then she asked if I was a "father". (It's Fathers Day). I told her I was and she pulled out the bouquet of flowers to take home. Her daughter had an engagement party the previous day and she was smothered with flowers at home. She brought them in to hand out to customers. What a nice gesture. As always, the pizza was awesome. Classy people who work hard running their business. Have been loving Round Table for years. The last two orders of garlic twists were so underdone they were not edible. Reza, the manager told me that if I have a problem the next time with them I must not like them and he will put on my account I am not allowed to order them again! Pizza and wings are great, always hit the spot. However, this is the third time in a row we have ordered and paid for anchovies on the pizza but received no anchovies whatsoever. A little frustrating because my husband and I LOVE anchovies on our pizza. This is our favorite chain pizza restaurant. It has it's own unique taste that separates it from the others. It is a little pricier, but I believe that anything with better quality is worth the price. The old location was better in two ways. It was more convenient and it was a full service restaurant and therefore included their lunch buffet. This new location is in a little more hidden spot and it's primarily only a take out. There are a couple tables inside, but it doesn't really have the ambiance of a pizza joint. The staff is always friendly and my order is always correct. That may seem trivial, but I've taken pizza home many times to open the box and find the wrong pizza and/or wrong toppings. Yesterday at 2:30 PM I arrive to pick up an order that was phoned in. There was a customer at the counter. There was an employee to the left looking in from the front door not wearing a mask getting a personal order having a discussion with the young man behind the counter. As usual I just wanted to give a name and check on the order to see if or when it would be ready. Two customers in the lobby I was standing in the front door keeping my distance wearing a mask. I am handicapped with a TBI/PTSD and I had a service dog licensed and registered wearing a harness indicating that with his licensing and badge and registration hanging from my belt in plain sight When I acknowledge the young man behind the counter a grumpy little man behind the counter screamed at me get out!!!! Wait outside!!! In a few minutes I got a chance to ask the young man behind the counter standing from outside the restaurant in the doorway if the order was ready. I waited there five minutes for that info. The young man said they just dropped the wings and it would be five or six minutes. I continued to wait 30 minutes while they waited on everybody behind me and everybody in the lobby. Apparently my presents offended the employee behind the counter. 30 minutes later I heard that same grumpy old man behind the counter tell the employee in the front to drop the wings now. I'm a little torn on this one because I do love Round Table Pizza (the pizza itself), but I was charged more than I should have been (PET PEEVE). RT has always been more expensive than Pizza Hut, Papa John's, or the other chains, but I've always found that the pizza just tastes better. I also really like that you can do a white sauce pizza because I'm not a big fan of tomato sauce. I was disappointed because I put in an online order with a coupon code that would give me a discount, was quoted the discounted price in my confirmation e-mail, then after paying in person, realized I wasn't given the discount. The entire box was soaked in grease which ended up leaking grease all over our floor. It was like they took an entire can of grease and poured it all over the pizza. I ordered a pizza sunday 11/5 at 10am online , i was told via the website that it would be delIvered by 12 . i had a 2pm flIght and we were super Tight on time . i called at 12:15 and was told "we just received your order " they attempted to try and get me to not cancel but we had to . They told me at that time that I would be refunded within 48 hours. It's Thursday 11/9 and I still haven't gotten a refund. They are shady !!
