Ordered through Door Dash last night. Pizza was ok. Skinny crust I usually like was just ok. Zesty sauce was just ok. And not especially zesty. Or saucy. I did select regular sauce but it tasted and looked more like easy sauce. Unfortunately, pizza was just ok too. I got half Hawaiian. I love Canadian bacon but these were the biggest slices kind of just folded up and thrown on the pizza. Along with canned pineapple that had large handfuls dropped here and there. No complaints from the better half. Mine. Just kidding. We ordered half and half. Said toppings were just thrown on with no consistency. And that was all he said. Maybe it was because I wasn't feeling so great and had been gone all week kicking it at the hospital. Or...it just wasn't all that good. Ordered a salad with, and I could be wrong but, homemade croutons. Pretty sure that was what the menu advertised. The salad consisted of very large cut (mostly through) lettuce leaves, large slices of cucumber I used to dip in my dressing, thick slices of very dry Roma tomato slices and buckets of shredded carrots. No croutons. No nothing else. I just got out of the hospital and for whatever reason I wasn't allowed to eat most veggies. Only carrots. Don't ask. I don't know. They do slice their carrots though and don't shred them. Fortunately for the salad, we may be able to rehab it into something that makes you want to eat it. Or not. I really was looking forward to a salad. Guess it just wasn't this one. Doubt we will be back to Round Table. Way too many better choices out there to waste time, money and taste buds on so-so food. read more

Haven't had Round Table in years. We used to enjoy it when they were in the shopping center where Whole Foods is now. I have to say that a Store bought frozen pizza is probably better than Round Table or at least this location. I don't know what was up with the cheese... But it was gross and not like real cheese at all. And the customer service was absolutely horrible. My husband asked for red pepper flakes and Parmesan cheese packets to go and the gentleman/manager/owner said that they were all out of packets and if he wanted some then he can help himself to the shakers on the counter. Craving a little sustenance, I dropped in while shopping for an e-bike next door. The counter help was prompt and well informed, answering my numerous questions . My order was made quickly, especially considering they were quite busy. I ordered the personal bar-b-que chicken pizza, light on BBQ sauce please, and they accommodated me. It was Halloween night.....so I'm trying to be as fair as possible.....but I called the store and gave them very early notice (3pm). I was very clear in explaining to the store that I realize it's Halloween, so how much advance notice do I need to give to get my order at a certain time. They gave me instructions on how much time. Ordered from here three separate times during this COVID experience. 2 gourmet veggie and one Hawaiian. Our food was delivered hot and delicious. Veggie pizza has a ton of veggies on it. Hawaiian has a lot of pineapple. It was steaming when we opened the box which was great! Only negative is the $6.75 delivery fee charged, then asking you to tip the delivery person, who by the way handles social distancing very professionally asking where he can leave your pizza upon arrival. LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Reza & company always do an awesome job on my pizza, balancing the perfect ratio of dough, sauce & toppings. Sure RT is more expensive but if you want cheap, get a DiGiorno! Seriously though, Laguna Niguel has a bunch of pizza options and while some are good, Round Table is the BEST. David has been making pies over there for years and his attention to detail is spot-on. Went in today to pickup some lunch. Recognized the owner working as we have seen her for prob 25+ years in the area. Very nice as usual and then she asked if I was a "father". (It's Fathers Day). I told her I was and she pulled out the bouquet of flowers to take home. Her daughter had an engagement party the previous day and she was smothered with flowers at home. She brought them in to hand out to customers. What a nice gesture. As always, the pizza was awesome. Classy people who work hard running their business. Pizza and wings are great, always hit the spot. However, this is the third time in a row we have ordered and paid for anchovies on the pizza but received no anchovies whatsoever. A little frustrating because my husband and I LOVE anchovies on our pizza. This is our favorite chain pizza restaurant. It has it's own unique taste that separates it from the others. It is a little pricier, but I believe that anything with better quality is worth the price. The old location was better in two ways. It was more convenient and it was a full service restaurant and therefore included their lunch buffet. This new location is in a little more hidden spot and it's primarily only a take out. There are a couple tables inside, but it doesn't really have the ambiance of a pizza joint. The staff is always friendly and my order is always correct. That may seem trivial, but I've taken pizza home many times to open the box and find the wrong pizza and/or wrong toppings. Yesterday at 2:30 PM I arrive to pick up an order that was phoned in. There was a customer at the counter. There was an employee to the left looking in from the front door not wearing a mask getting a personal order having a discussion with the young man behind the counter. As usual I just wanted to give a name and check on the order to see if or when it would be ready. Two customers in the lobby I was standing in the front door keeping my distance wearing a mask. I am handicapped with a TBI/PTSD and I had a service dog licensed and registered wearing a harness indicating that with his licensing and badge and registration hanging from my belt in plain sight When I acknowledge the young man behind the counter a grumpy little man behind the counter screamed at me get out!!!! Wait outside!!! In a few minutes I got a chance to ask the young man behind the counter standing from outside the restaurant in the doorway if the order was ready. I waited there five minutes for that info. The young man said they just dropped the wings and it would be five or six minutes. I continued to wait 30 minutes while they waited on everybody behind me and everybody in the lobby. Apparently my presents offended the employee behind the counter. 30 minutes later I heard that same grumpy old man behind the counter tell the employee in the front to drop the wings now. I'm a little torn on this one because I do love Round Table Pizza (the pizza itself), but I was charged more than I should have been (PET PEEVE). RT has always been more expensive than Pizza Hut, Papa John's, or the other chains, but I've always found that the pizza just tastes better. I also really like that you can do a white sauce pizza because I'm not a big fan of tomato sauce. I was disappointed because I put in an online order with a coupon code that would give me a discount, was quoted the discounted price in my confirmation e-mail, then after paying in person, realized I wasn't given the discount. I ordered a pizza sunday 11/5 at 10am online , i was told via the website that it would be delIvered by 12 . i had a 2pm flIght and we were super Tight on time . i called at 12:15 and was told "we just received your order " they attempted to try and get me to not cancel but we had to . They told me at that time that I would be refunded within 48 hours. It's Thursday 11/9 and I still haven't gotten a refund. They are shady !!
