Didn't know what to expect going in -- there are arcade cabinets near the door, there's cowboy decor from floor to ceiling, and the whole place is reminiscent of your typical hole-in-the-wall bar -- but this place's food is better than I ever could've expected! I vacation in Cambria once a year and always make it a point to pick up food from here. The pizza is on point. The shoelace fries not great. Garlic Bread & cheese sticks very good. Tonight's experience was not great but that's due to the female cashier. We added a $1.50 cinnamon bread to the $20 tab that I saw her handling "nervously" and she straight added over $5 that I'm guessing she was going to pocket. Thankfully the owner was there when I was disputing the amount. She quickly refunded me $5.50. Beware. read more

Staying at the Fogcatcher Inn and they provide a map and list of local restaurant's and only two offer delivery, I believe we choose correctly. We ordered the Mediterranean Pizza a large Salad and the Bread Pudding and were not disappointed, the pizza arrived hot and with a crisp crust and sometime when you get delivery the crust can become soggy but not here it was awesome and the salad had very fresh vegtables and we ordered italian and ranch dressing and for the most part I do not like ranch but their house made ranch is very good and the bread putting made from the house made cinnamon rolls was also very good. read more

Mom and pop shop, very friendly and good pizza. We got the judy's special which was delicious! We got take out to spend our last night in Cambria in our cute hipster hotel on the beach. We got chicken wings but we were disappointed that the wings werent as delicious as the pizza. Which is a bummer, soggy wings and very fatty. Again i will give them s place another try. Interesting place. Had delivery brought to our hotel room. The pizza was fantastic. Thin crust and crispy with good quality ingredients. The potato skins were interesting. Interesting good, not bad. Covered in Bacon and Monterey Jack cheese. More akin to potato nachos than actual potato skins but very tasty. But the hot wings, terrible. Almost no sauce and rubbery. Go here if you're ravenous and like food that tastes like it was frozen and reheated. The tacos were ok, but the steak was reheated for sure. My son said his burrito was meh. The buffalo wings were from Costco, so don't bother asking for more Buffalo sauce. My other son's burger was not bad, but not good either - and again, frozen fries. The marguerita pizza was unexpectedly on a thick crust that was way too doughy. And to top it off we had to wait a while for the food. $60 better spent at McD's. NO no no no no. Do not come here for pizza. Go to the gas station and get one of the premade sandwiches if you want a better meal. At least those have some meat on them. The ?????: they serve a green salad. They serve pizza, so they have a large variety of toppings for an antipasti salad. Is an antipasti salad on the menu? We walked up and down the street to see if there was anything else but pizza (sorry J B J's) Okay, so after 7 on a Friday night that part of town is DEAD with the exception of the gas station/convenience store. Overall tired, cold, starving and confused, we wandered in this place. Became even more confused. It had this kind of old west feel-a little out of place for a pizza place, some 1980's Arcade Space Invaders type game, the tiniest salad bar of all time and a table of about 15 random people sitting together. It was either a gathering of assorted locals or the weirdest family reunion I've ever seen. But that's neither here nor there. Friendly servers, menus arrived right away and appealing looking menu. There are sandwiches and some random mexican dishes, but really stick with the pizza. It seemed pretty safe. We ordered a veggie pizza and (I am sure the waitress thought we were nuts) some tacos. Yes, tacos-that my boyfriend said were his appetizer. That's because I made us drive 4 hours straight without stopping for lunch-he got to eat two dinners. Anyway, the pizza was decent-another reviewer had it right when they said it reminded them of Mountain Mikes' a chain we have up north. The sauce was missing a little kick-a little bland, but otherwise, good crust and good veggies. The pesto, sundries tomato and goat cheese pizza was amazing. My BF seriously said it was the best pizza ever and he is extremely picky about pizza. Won't touch chain store stuff. The service was great. Even sitting on the patio ( for COVID19 regulations) we were checked up on. The beer was served in a frosty mug and after clearing the tap with a full half glass of froth first. Horrible!! We ordered a 4-topping thin crust pizza and it looked and tasted like it was frozen 5 minutes before we walked in. The crust was like card board and there was little to no toppings. We come to Cambria every year and we've had this pizza in the past. Maybe new owners now who don't know how to make pizza. read more

We were totally ripped off by the "Armadillo Eggs". They were simply jalapeño poppers you'd buy at a Costco that were priced at $7!!! Armadillo eggs typically have ground sausage or beef. The pizza was decent though. It had a nice flaky crust but not much cheese in my opinion. read more

I'm a fan of the crispy crust, pizza has always been good. Sandwiches are pretty good too, as well as the burgers. One of my favorite sides has to be the "armadillo eggs", which are cheese stuffed jalapeños that are battered and fried. Also the burritos are darn good. read more

We get takeout now. It takes about 20 minutes and it's easy. I love supporting this local business, because THIS IS THE BEST PIZZA EVER! It's the only pizza that isn't greasy at all. You can take it home, let it sit for awhile, pick it up and there won't be any grease underneath. The brick oven crust is the perfect balance between crispy and soft.
