    Cinnamon rolls

We decided to try their cinnamon rolls after driving by this place every time we head to Cambria. We were really looking forward to them, but unfortunately we were very disappointed. The cinnamon rolls were dry and had a fermented taste. We took them home and tried eating them a few hours later, hoping they might be better, but they weren't. They were so unpleasant that we ended up throwing them away right after taking this picture. Based on this experience, we wouldn't even consider coming back to try their pizza. If the cinnamon rolls are this bad, it doesn't leave us with much confidence in the rest of the menu.

Super yummy food. We were able to split a medium pizza between the 3 of us and had left overs. The garlic fries were also a nice appetizer. Nothing compares to the service received and awesome hospitality. Such a cozy nook!

Service was great, pizza was great, wine was great. No complaints here! I'll come back next time I'm in town.

Service was fast and very friendly. They are normally very busy went on a Monday. Pizza was great and crispy and soft in the inside. Got a large so I can have leftovers. Still great later cold. Mmm. Place was clean.

First time in here in many years. Monica, the owner is very pleasant, and Carla has a great personality. Pizza was amazing, just the right amount of toppings, and the crispy crust was awesome! Very tasty, everything was fresh and made to order. Great prices, and the place was spotless. I highly recommend this place, great beer selection as well. I really enjoy sitting at the bar time to time and drinking my blue moon on tap. This place has a little bit of everything, from hamburgers, to tasty appetizers and their pizza. I'll be back.

This restaurant caught our eye because it served pizza. They had a nice patio in the back (dogs allowed). We ordered their Pesto Spaghetti, Chicken Pizza, and Garlic Bread. It was all so flavorful, especially the spaghetti. Sometimes when you order pesto pasta, you get a little "over" it. This dish had a creamy, rich and delicious sauce. If anything, we wanted more pasta and pesto! The waitress was so sweet and made suggestions for us to try. We even ended up getting dessert: homemade cinnamon roll! I would come back.

My friends and I enjoyed a much-needed dinner here after a 2 day/1 night backpacking trip on the Kirk Creek Campground-Vicente Flat trail. They were probably one of the more affordable options on Main St that wasn't giving food court vibes... Italian food is comfort food down the line, and this bowl of alfredo did the job! It seemed like a small portion at first but I quickly got so full. None of us had room for the pizza :(

If I'm being totally honest, we came here because it was one of only two places in the entire town that was open late and dog friendly, so our options were limited. They have a dog friendly patio in the back but you can't get to it without walking through the alley and we didn't feel like sitting out in the cold anyway so I waited in the covered entry while my husband ordered us some sandwiches and fries to go. The decor was dark and outdated but there was a little bench by a tree where I was able to wait comfortably. The prices were a little high, the wait was a little long and in the end, the food ended up being disappointing, especially for what we paid. However, there were a few families inside having pizza, so I am willing to concede we may have just made the wrong menu choice for this particular location.

Great service, pizza is the vest, period. Nice local wine selection...we go here at least once every-time we are up north

The creamy pesto pasta with spinach was recommended by my server over the pizza. It was tasty, but the portion could've been bigger. And garlic bread was 3 bucks extra, and THAT portion could've been bigger, too. I'd do the pizza if I came again. The ambience was warm and woodsy. The service was attentive and pleasant. An okay experience, but not exciting.

Crazy bad food. I got the Italian sub, covered in mayo and mustard, just gross. Skip this place, unless you're looking for basic pool food.

Best Pizza in Cambria, and better than many places in general. I've seen better salads in town, but if you want pizza, JBJ is the place.

To start, my partner and I split a Caesar salad that had a delicious, lemony Caesar dressing. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan for my entree, and it was perfect. Seriously one of the best dinners I've ever had. I'm not usually a tomato lover, and I often find myself scraping excess sauce off of my Italian dishes. Here, I found myself scraping my plate trying to get more sauce on my chicken. It was incredible! My partner had the lasagna and let me take a few bites. It was also great!! Very flavorful. I don't have kids so I thought it was hilarious and makes sense. Sometimes it's nice to go to a restaurant without seeing children running around and screaming. The ingredients she used are very fresh that's obvious when you're eating it. This is a small restaurant with I believe only two staff (including the owner) so don't expect your food to come out super quickly like a big restaurant. The lemony dressing on the salad was good and we loved the garlic bread! It takes a little while to come out so if you want another order make sure you order it back to back. I ordered the eggplant parm with butternut squash sauce . I enjoyed my meal. Unfortunately she was out of the chicken parmesan, which is what I really wanted, and so the only other meat options were meatballs. I wish she had more meat options. My husband got the ralilo(sp?) with a meatball and chose the white sauce. He didn't enjoy the sauce or meatball but did enjoy the texture of the pasta. The portion sizes were perfect and I know she uses fresh organic ingredients but the cost still seemed too high. Now the owner was very pleasant and attentive to us. We did notice that she was a little annoyed to one of the tables next to us and that was off putting but it was the end of the night. I think if you're vegetarian or gf you would enjoy this restaurant. Victoria is clearly a hard working woman and for that I will keep the 4 star rating but if I could I would overall rate the food a 3.5. All in all it was a interesting experience, definitely one to remember.

I saw the mediocre reviews here on Yelp, but that can go either way sometimes. So, we gave it a try. The server was pleasant and it was clear she wanted to do a good job; no complaint there. The food however, is absolutely terrible. There is zero flavor to anything. And the prices for what you get and how it tastes are ridiculous. My wife had chicken Alfredo (pictured) except that it's not an Alfredo sauce. It's a creamier version of a flavorless butter sauce. There is also no flavor to the chicken whatsoever. The entire dish really has nothing to offer. I had the ravioli and asked to upgrade to meat sauce which seemed to be a concern of the server as far as making that happen. She was able to do it though but made sure I knew I would be charged extra for it... no problem. I expect that. I also asked for the dinner salad which costs $7.95 and you can eat it in five bites. That's a bit ridiculous especially at a place like this. Once my ravioli came it was also completely flavorless. The red sauce is just a tomato-y bland paste of a sauce. The meat was literally just ground beef with an overkill of oregano. Nothing else. "Garlic" bread comes with every meal but it's really just buttered toast. This was quite disappointing. Best to look elsewhere. We won't be back.

The owner said he had a special Prosecco and that he had "a guy" who gets it for him special. He let us keep the bottle since it was our anniversary weekend. When we got back home, I googled the label on the bottle and to my surprise, it turned out his "guy" was Trader Joe. That was good for a few laughs. The dining in meals were at the restaurant's special events with a fixed menu and price. We met friends there for those meals. Both meals were nothing to write home or a review about. Our friends felt the same way. I thought eventually, we would dine there when we are in town enjoying our second home. After today, I will reconsider. My wife and I were near the cafe and she wanted to go into a particular shop. There was no parking spot available so I dropped her off and parked next to the cafe. I stayed in the car to wait for her. I noticed a crude handmade sign on an orange cone that read "parking for Harmony Cafe". There was one car ahead of me but I waited with the engine running. After about 5 minutes, a door opens from the side of the restaurant and a woman comes out. I didn't think anything of it. A few seconds later she comes out again and goes behind my car and takes a photo of my license plate. I thought that was hilarious. First of all, it's a public parking space that apparently the Harmony Cafe has commandeered with a makeshift sign. I have never seen another business in town do such a thing. Cambria is such a peaceful and relaxed place, very laid back but just don't park in the Harmony parking spots if you aren't a diner. I wonder what she does with the photos of those license plates.

We've eaten at plenty of higher-priced restaurants in the area and don't mind paying those prices when the food, portions, service, and overall experience are worth it. Unfortunately, we didn't feel that was the case at Moonstone Beach Bar & Grill. We specifically asked to sit outside and were told by the hostess that it would be about a 15-minute wait. She told us we could be seated immediately if we sat inside, so we agreed. Almost as soon as we sat down, she proceeded to take another group outside to the patio. That didn't sit well with us considering what we had just been told. Our waitress was friendly and did a good job, and we appreciated her service. The food, however, was nothing special. The fish and chips were particularly disappointing and overpriced for the amount of food you receive. The portion honestly looked more like a child's meal than an adult entrée. The issue isn't simply that the restaurant is expensive. We regularly pay higher prices when visiting this area and have had many meals that were absolutely worth the money. The issue is value. When you're charging premium prices, the quality and portion size should reflect those prices. The location is beautiful, but based on this visit, it felt like we were paying more for the location than for the meal itself. With so many other restaurants in the area where we've happily paid similar or higher prices and left satisfied, this experience was disappointing and didn't measure up. 8/12/26
