I preordered my meal 30 min before arriving so that I can just pick it up and go along my way. When I arrived I find out that their website had issues and that none of the orders were processed which means I have to wait for another 20 min for the food to be cooked. Sort of disappointed but nonetheless my food would be fresher than if I had picked it up later. I also found out that this location is a franchise and not corporate which means you won't be able to find this location and place any orders using the Roxy's app found in the App Store thus it's why I had to order through their website in the first place.

overcooked Sweet Garlic Chicken Lunch Plate super rubbery

Still incredibly inconsistent -- both the shoyu and sweet garlic chicken were overcooked this time. It seems like the more they expand their restaurant locations, the worse the quality of their food gets. The turnover of workers have to be as high as the chefs in the kitchen. Come here to eat rubber if you're into that, you're lucky if the teriyaki beef's cooked well enough to match its high price

How I heard of this place: Back on 18 September 2018, local friends from the Pacific Islands invited us to dinner at Roxy's. We were surprised to find that it's a chain, but we visited only the one closest to their home. Type of cuisine: Hawaiian BBQ. Ambiance: A strip-mall style establishment with brightly colored walls, booth seating and a fast-food atmosphere, Roxy's was a great place to stop by for a take-away order. What I ordered: Chicken Katsu, a crispy, seasoned golden chicken filet served with mac salad and rice and Island Style dipping sauce; Kalbi Chicken, Korean style BBQ with honey, garlic, shoyu served with mac salad and rice; Teriyaki Chicken marinated in Roxy's teriyaki sauce and grilled, served with mac salad and rice. What I loved: The kalbi chicken was my favorite of the chicken options we selected - perfectly, lightly spicy with a hint of sweetness. We also really enjoyed the mac salad, none of which was left among our eight take-away containers by the end of the meal. Why I loved it: A taste of the islands was a welcome treat on a late summer evening spent with friends that are like family. Cost: Average

    Teriyaki? Chicken... Where's the sauce?

Order for takeout. Got home and there was no teriyaki sauce on my teriyaki chicken. 4 orders, 0 teriyaki. Wasting everyone's time.

No all white meat chicken options, it's all thigh meat only. Be warned if you're not into the dark meat.

We were in Portland visiting my cousin for the weekend and we wanted to grab a quick light dinner…read moresince we had a super heavy lunch around 3pm. My cousin mentioned this place and we were hesitant to try it. He said they had great reviews and was in New York Times, but we were still hesitant to try it because we didn't care much for Pizza- nor were we craving it. It was me, my 15-year-old daughter, my brother, my sister in-law and my cousin. We were greeted but the most friendliest staff I've ever encountered IN MY LIFE. You order and pay at the counter and find a seat. They have an area where you can get your own waters as well. We ordered the Pho Pizza, Banh Mi Pizza, and the Chicken Satay Pizza. I wanted to order the Pandamn ice cream but they ran out as well as their tiramisu desserts. In my head I wanted to take away 1 star but then I tried the pizza. Pho - 10/10 First bite and I could NOT stop smiling. It was SOOO good! This was the groups favorite. My brother doesn't even like sprouts but it worked very well with the pizza. It was like eating pho but on bread. OMG my mouth is salivating just thinking about it and I can't even get it now because I'm in the Bay Area. Banh Mi - 100/10 This was my personal favorite. It was basically like an open Banh Mi with a hint of pizza. The flavors were amazing and I loved the pickled daikon and carrots on top! I'm not sure if refreshing would be the right world, but I know amazing would be another way I would describe this. I live in San Jose and I go to San Francisco often so I'm actually pretty disappointed in the Bay Area for not having anything like this. Satay Pizza - 9/10 To be honest, we were already getting full but because it tasted so good, we finished this one too. The sauce was a creamy curry sauce (I think with a hint of coconut) and had some peanuts sprinkled on top which gave it more flavor and a nice texture. Lastly, the pizza crust tasted AMAZING. It had a slight crisp to it but it was fluffy in the inside, kind of like Mochi bread. We literally left no crumbs! 1000/10 would recommend this place!

This place is a must-try!! The Korean burrata salad is incredible, so flavorful and delicious with every bite. This time I tried their monthly flavor of pizza, the chicken satay, and it was very satisfying! The wood-fired crust pairs well with the yuzu ranch, if that is your thing. Since I'm from SE, I will definitely be coming here when I find myself at the Reser!

I've been on the hunt since my old spot closed down, and this place is exactly what I was looking for. We ordered the chicken teriyaki and the short ribs. Both were excellent. The chicken comes with rice and -- this is the part that surprised me -- an actual green side salad with a house dressing I've never encountered anywhere else. It's genuinely good and worth paying attention to. But the real star is how they cook the meat. You know how some teriyaki places essentially boil the chicken in sauce? Not here. The sauce is applied like a glaze, and the meat has that char on it. That's the way it should be done, and it makes all the difference. The value for the money is excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful. The space is early strip mall -- I wouldn't plan a dinner date here -- but it's clean and completely unpretentious. The food is the whole reason to go, and the food delivers. If you know teriyaki and you've been looking for a reliable spot, this is it.

The chicken was great as were the veggies. Also for $11 I think the price was definitely worth it. The veggies are comparable to Panda Express, which isn't a bad thing, that's just what I thought of. I ordered to go and it took less than 10 mins to get my food out so that was great! While it's not the most amazing chicken teriyaki in the world, it's a great tasting and affordable option if you're looking to grab a quick lunch. I'd eat here again and maybe try their spicy tofu or something, that sounded good when I saw it on the menu. But yea, solid lunch spot!
