Our experience here was very disappointing. It began at check-in, when the host walked us past many wide open, large booths in order to reach a tiny booth right next to the noisy kitchen. (What's with that?) After waiting 45 minutes for our food, the waitress said it would be out in a couple minutes. She continued to say this even after 15 more minutes had lapsed. When the food came out, everyone's vegetables were either undercooked or overcooked to the point of being black. The kitchen hid overcooked vegetables underneath the other ones, hoping we wouldn't notice. My burger was hard like a hockey puck and the fries were drenched in salt. I actually had to get a different dinner on the way home since mine was so inedible. Such a waste of time. On the plus side, the server and manager were friendly. The salad was good. We have lived in Vero for 4 years now. We have frequented this restaurant usually twice a month. Today 1/10/21 we ordered on line for pick up at 6:00. Getting there on time I found the bar where you pick up orders totally crowded. There were at least 7 take out bags behind the bar. The bartender was overwhelmed by the crowd but was very disorganized. No one was ordering drinks, just all waiting for orders. At 6:30 someone finally came out to help. She checked for my order but it was not ready yet. She went back in the kitchen and did not come back. I ripped up my ticket and left it on the bar. If they are that short handed they should not be sending out coupons. We will not be back. read more

This is the slowest Ruby Tuesday I've ever been to - maybe the slowest restaurant as well. It was a slow saturday around 2pm. Pretty sure the old man in the corner got here for his 21st birthday and is still waiting for service. I am not elaborating when I say that we were seated and told a waitress was coming to our table. 20 minutes later I had to go break up some chatty waitresses on their cell phones who reluctantly came over to our table about 5 minutes later. When we FINALLY had our food, it took another man hunt to find the waitress to bring our check. We were there almost 2 hrs when it was all said and done. Saving grace? They have a good salad bar. Another annoyance? It was not busy but the music was so loud our table could hardly hear one another. read more

I haven't been to a Ruby Tuesday since they closed the ones in Merritt Island and Orlando. I have always loved a restaurant with a salad bar option. My son and I drove down from Indialantic to give this location a try. It was a Sunday about 1pm. There was a nice crowd but nothing to crazy so we were immediately seated. We didn't wait long for our waitress Haley to arrive and she took our drink order. The menu is basic. Steak, chicken, burgers, ribs and some pasta. I specifically came for the salad bar so I opted for the small chicken tender plate adding the salad bar. Everything on the bar was fresh, with some favorites but also some unique items like dried cranberries, fresh garden peas, beets, broccoli salad and artichoke hearts. For the lettuce they have iceberg, spinach, spring mix, kale and romaine. The only meats on the salad bar are ham and bacon but thats ok its AUCE! Our plates came at a reasonable time and everything was very good. My son said his burger was cooked perfectly and the bun was buttery and tender. My chicken tender plate was a perfect choice with not too much extra food (since I ordered the salad bar and ate a big one). The tenders were cooked really nice with a light but tasty breading and served nice and warm. The mashed potatoes I ordered on the side were also very good. (and I am a mashed potato LOVER). You could tell they're homemade by the little lumps that set real from flakes apart. I couldn't tell if they were garlicky but the flavor was tasty and I ate every bite. All in all our experience was very good. We had no room for dessert but Haley was a very kind and attentive waitress. We are looking forward to our return. I write this not so people will stop going, but rather so Ruby's owners will fix their staff and suppliers so we can get back to good food and service. Usually it is great. Maybe you have noticed that the salad bar is more of a pig trough... mushrooms black, unkept, food mixed with food... less than quality all around. What no-taste person put this together? Need someone that gets it right! Careful after 8pm! Slop house! We want good food back each visit! We have many friends here in Sebastian we have already put on alert. Well let start by saying everything was cold, then I called because they forgot our appetizer. Pretty much was told that if I wanted my correct food I could come pick it up. Btw we used door dash, and we all know it's not doordash fault because of the Ruby Tuesday's staff hands them the food closed-up due to the covid. We love this Ruby Tuesdays. Service is superb and they are following all the safety precautions to insure a great night out. The food is great. Service was fantastic, but the food took a while to come out. The Caesar salad was very good! The tilapia was alright... not the best, and not all of us enjoyed our entrees. This ruby tuesdays's used to be one of my favorite spots to come to. But over the years the service and quality of the food has significantly gone down. We were greeted by the host in a very mediocre manner. The host started us of with our drinks because she said the waitress was busy, which is understandable. We ordered water with lemon. When the water was brought to us it tasted absolutely disgusting I had to spit it out. I ordered a bottled water instead and this is the difference between the waters. No silverware was brought to the table until after the food came. And the food runner was the one who had to bring us the silverware. I thought all would be okay when food came. I ordered hickory bourbon bacon sirloin. My waitress did not ask me how I wanted my steak cooked. Right before she left I reminded her I wanted my steak medium. When the food came the steak had no pink in it and was cooked well. Not to mention that it tasted disgusting the steak was not touched and my waitress didn't even bother to ask. My girlfriend got off work early and we decided to try Ruby Tuesday's in Sebastian for dinner. We arrived at 4:45 PM, and had no problem finding a seat. But, therein lay the best part of our experience. Our waitress was less than attentive; it took her forever to notice she had another table. Additionally, once she took our orders - both of us had the salad bar - she lost interest altogether. She asked us if we wanted warm biscuits - a RT staple - and when we said "yes" she indicated it would be 10 minutes or so before a fresh batch could be baked. A word to the management: "Bake the biscuits in sufficient time that the 5:00 crowd has them fresh from the oven." Otherwise, what are you waiting for? The salad bar was pitiful. We've both eaten at RTs all over the South - this has to be the worst salad bar we've seen. Most RT salad bars have 15 - 20 dishes, a variety of salad dressings, toppings and a choice of several types of crackers. RT - Sebastian had maybe 10 dishes - picked over (at 5PM?) and not very appetizing. I don't think anyone here has heard of "presentation." Plus, there were no crackers, and maybe six or seven salad dressings. When we pointed this out to the waitress, and asked her if this was the normal offering, she looked at us like we were from another planet - but did offer to call the manager. We declined...Sebastian isn't the cuisine capital of Florida, much less Indian River County...and I'm sure the Manager wouldn't have had a plausible excuse for the small salad bar. Just be aware - the salad bar is approximately 1/2 the number of dishes one might expect from a RT - but he price is the same. Oh...the biscuits...they finally arrived 15 minutes into the meal...and the waitress asked, 'would you like 4 instead of 2?" I hate to tell you young lady, but you should have added 2 or 4 to the ones you brought out! Did I say she was less than attentive? She was. When we asked for our check, she spent five minutes talking with a table across from us - apparently some of her friends from school. When she finally presented the check to us, no apology for the pitiful salad bar, the late biscuit delivery - all of which impacted the amount of tip I left. Conveniently located next to Sebastian River Hospital, I went over to grab a bite while visiting my grandma in the hospital. I had not been to a Ruby Tuesday in years and of course the menu had changed so I took my time looking it over. Our waitress was friendly and attentive and gave us plenty of time. I ordered broccoli and cheese soup with a turkey burger. My friend got a steak and the salad bar. The soup came but was very salty. Almost inedible but I was starving so I gulped it down. The turkey burger was good. My friend said his steak was a little undercooked but preferred that vs. overcooked. They also still serve these little bread biscuits. They really shouldn't. They taste awful. It's like eating chalk. All in all, it's average American fare. read more

Maybe that is why, at 11:50 AM, on Wednesday, at what should be the midst of the "lunch rush", there were only TWO other people eating in the ENTIRE restaurant. I placed a $100 "to go order", and tipped $10. You would've thought, that at least ONE of the THREE men working, one being the manager, would've at least opened the front door for me, or offered to help carry one of the five bags of food to my car. But no. As a former bartender/waitress, and as a current 13 year Regional Pharmaceutical Sales Professional, I am well accustomed to what customer service should look like. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars, is because the food was great. My "tip"...don't tip the bartender OR waitstaff OR manager (like I did in advance) get your food to go, and find a way to tip the chefs. read more

We live 20 minutes North of Sebastian a quaint, relatively quiet hamlet and since we had a gift card for Ruby Tuesday we decided to visit and have lunch. I literally hadn't visited a Ruby Tuesday in at least 15 years! There were four of us, we were greeted upon arrival, asked if a booth was acceptable and it was so we were shown a table toward the back of the restaurant near the kitchen. They were obviously busy and the booth was close to the salad bar so we sat down. A personal observation, the booths here seem a tad small and narrow. Granted I could stand to lose a few pounds, but I'm not seriously overweight and my right leg spent most of its time hovering at the edge of my seat. If one has any gut at all the table might be shifting a bit back and forth as you breathe. Our waiter appeared promptly and we ordered about 10 minutes later. We asked for separate checks as our friends had a coupon for buy one entree and the second is 50% off. My girlfriend wanted to try the blackened tilapia and I ordered their premium burger (medium rare). My friends girlfriend ordered the salad bar and he ordered the regular burger ( no mayo, mustard on the side) and medium done. We all served ourselves at the salad bar which was not bad, decent selection. One criticism and that is a couple of items ( cubed ham and bacon bits ) were frozen stiff. The ham pieces still had ice crystals on them and the bacon bits were clumping as they thawed. While we were eating our salads there were a few tables that the manager approached and was heard apologizing to them for the delay in service because the restaurant had a huge ' to go ' order and it had backed up the kitchen so that was a heads up for us! Sure enough our server came over a few minutes later and we were told the same thing, not a big deal at that point because we were just digging into our salads. We took our time with our salads and tables all around were getting their food, we finally finished our salads and commenced with conversation. Another 15 minutes, no food so I went and served myself another small salad, halfway through that the food started to arrive. My girlfriend got her tilapia and seemed happy with the smell, my friend opened his burger and saw mayo inside, he told the server to have the burger remade as he had requested no mayo. Ten minutes later his redone burger and my original order arrived, my friend opened his burger and mustard had been applied inside and it was cooked medium rare! He decided not to say anything even though he had asked for mustard (on the side). My burger was cooked medium-well and was totally devoid of moisture, I didn't even finish it. When the server came by to see if everything was ok I told him about the burger, explained I didn't reorder it because it took long enough the first time. He said he would advise the manager. 10 minutes later our server came by again and asked me if the manager had come by, I said no and he said he would speak to the manager again. A few minutes later the manager came by and I told him about the burger and explained the cook must have leaned on the burger with the spatula to squeeze every bit of moisture out which was a shame since I had ordered a premium burger and that should have been a showcase for them. He agreed to remove my burger from our check. The checks arrived and we couldn't figure them out. There were two discounts on each check for odd amounts, apparently the manager had decided to distribute the discounts between our checks, the server redid the checks so they made sense. Haven't been to a R.T. in years. I was reminded today one of the reasons why. I went to the Inverness Fl. store, which was about 1/3 full. I sat at the bar for over 5 minutes without any acknowledgement. I was the ONLY bar patron.The manager walked right by me several times to help one of 3 bartenders with the computer. On April 9, 2017 my husband and I went to Ruby Tuesday in Sebastian Fl. We both ate at the salad bar but we had different dressings, and ordered some French Fries. About 2hrs after leaving the restaurant I started throwing up and having diarrhea. I was sweating so bad with a fever. After a couple hours of being sick my husband took me to the ER and I received 2 Bags of Saline Solution with meds to stop the vomiting and diarrhea. By this time it was around 3:30am and I was finally discharged by the Dr. Are medical bills are still coming in but so far its about $7000. It was an expensive dinner to say the least. I love this place. Sebastian is a slow paced place, so one must learn to adapt. You are on Fla time now... We moved here from NYC back in 2001 and learned to kick back and enjoy. Ruby Tuesday is a very cool place and very well run. No complaints about the food either. Really good restaurants in a small place like Sebastian are few and far between. This has to be one of the better one in this small town...& btw.the $5.00 maritini happy hour @ the bar is really a cool hang. Oops - just gave up the best secret in Sebastian... Over and over have tried this location, hoping it will become decent. Last experience 12/24/13, awful. Fries = hard, cold. Potatoes = looked and tasted as if leftover from previous day. My wife and I are regular customers at the Sebastian, FL. Ruby Tuesdays restaurant. Unfortunately, it will be a while before we revisit this location again! After receiving a coupon in local newspaper, with a delicious looking hamburger, we decided to go and get one of those burgers. What a mistake that was. The delicious looking burger ended up tasting and looking like a hockey puck. It was charred all the way through and was inedible. After complaining to our server, she gracefully had a new burger cooked and apologized, saying that they had a new 18 year old cook. Upon receiving my second burger, there was NO change. It too was over cooked and resembled another puck. This brought the manager over and she said there would be no charge for my meal. My wife's meal in the mean time, was sitting there on her plate as she was waiting for me, so we could eat together. Her meal was not credited or eaten! Our server apologized again and actually felt terrible for us. I wrote on the bill "Great service terrible food". My suggestion is, train your cook's before putting them on the clock! read more

Had a buy one dinner get $10. off a second dinner coupon. Decided to take an elder blind lady friend with me to lunch. I ordered a fish that came with black beans and brown rice. When the waiter brought it to the table I noticed the rice had bell peppers in it. I sent it back because I can not eat bell peppers. The menu did not state there were peppers in the rice. The waiter offered me baked potatoe in place of the rice. The potatoe was rotton inside. The waited went back , the cook told him he could not give me another potatoe because I had a coupon.
