I was completely blown away by the service at this restaurant. It was my husband's and I first time eating here this past weekend. As soon as we arrived, the hostesses got our name and explained to us the waiting list app, which is incredible! We knew exactly where we were in line and how long we had been waiting. When we sat down our hostess asked us if it was our first time there and we said yes and she made us feel so welcomed and at ease. The service was very quick and the waitress was kind and helpful. The only downside was that the french toast came by itself and i had to order sides of bacon and eggs. But that's okay! This will definitely be our new brunch place! read more

This place is your typical Denver brunch spot: super tasty, bottomless mimosas, but a long wait. On a Saturday morning we were told that it'd be a 45 minute wait but it was only 20 minutes! They have an app that shows you you place in line and you can easily get a drink next door while you wait. I am a food critic, my name is bonjoue francis and I come from Europe and i am very disappointed. Food was not good at all, i had the pancakes with chocolate chips, bacon, hashbrowns and a cup of fruit. The pancakes were dry, the bacon was very greasy and chewy, the hasbrows were ok but it was lacking flavor and it tasted more like mash potatoes than hashbrowns, the cup of fruit was the best thing and the fruit was some what fresh but a little sour. The waitress forgot my fruit and then delivered it at the end which I was ok with but she threw the fruit across the table and walked off witch was so disrespectful of her to do, I will never eat here again! Back to Europe as I anticipated colorado food to be, I have tried 13 restaurants here in Colorado and they have all sucked except for 2, one was a 3.5 star and the other was a family owned breakfast restaurant and was some the best food I had ever had in my 38 years of reviewing food, I was absolutely astonished and amazed on how the flavors and spices went so well the food was tangy and had every little detail in it. It reminded of Ratatouille I remember the movie quote "Anyone can cook but only the fearless can be great"the chefs knew who I was and didn't get nervous at all and instead used that as motivation and cooked with love and it was located somewhere in Colorado Springs. I love staring at it and the puppies enjoying it as I sit in traffic... and I love patio drinking mimosas in front of it at Rupert's. It took over a year of driving past this patio to finally decide to try it. I thought the outside looked cheesy, or perhaps uninspired. I fell victim to the "judging a book by its cover" idiom and man I felt like an idiot. Bottomless mimosas for $8.50. A picturesque patio. Decent parking. Pleasant staff. And oh my gosh, corned beef hash. We've had burritos, eggs benedict, different hashes, pancakes... you name it and we've chowed down. We barely speak to each other until we are apart of the clean plate club and have unbuttoned our pants discretely. Seriously. It's good. Really good. Do yourself a favor and stop in for breakfast. They have great patio seating overlooking the lake (if you don't mind a little street noise) that is dog friendly. The host is super kind and the waitstaff is really friendly. Rupert's is in a great location overlooking the beautiful Sloan's lake park. Surprised we didn't have to wait in line, arrived at 9am & seated immediately. Ordered Steak & Eggs with sour dough toast...the NY Strip was cooked perfectly and seasoned deliciously, poached eggs ~ WOW! Potato cakes were soft in the middle and crunchy on the outside & extremely tasty...everything mingled together ~ Heaven. Also ordered an omelette with chorizo, ham, mushroom, avocado, cheese & jalapeño bacon which was very good. This restaurant is a must for breakfast lovers for sure ~ great price & large portions. Plus there's a Starbucks next door so you can get a coffee while you wait if you wanted. I got the breakfast burrito(so good). My hot date got the biscuits and gravy with a side of French toast. Everything tasted really good. I'm super picky about my bloody Mary's so our waitress got me a sample of the mix before I ordered one. Yesterday we ate lunch at Rupert's with our 2 granddaughters because the food and service was wonderful. . The day before we had eaten there with just the 3 year old. Our waitress very discreetly ask if they could help by cutting my husband's food before they served it. The busboy had seen me do it the day before along with cutting up the 3 year olds. What a lovely and thoughtful idea! You see, my husband has early onset Alzheimer's and they were doing what only the best services do. Being observant and caring. Our waitress from the day before came by and asked the youngest about her toy by name from the day before and asked the 5 year old what she had gotten since she knew it was her day! They have amazing Bloody Mary's, jalapeño bacon, perfectly poached eggs on their Benedict's, and chef specials regularly. I had a Reuben Benedict this past weekend and that was the first time they served it apparently. Also got some Girl Scout cookie stuffed French toast for dessert. We had less than a 10 minute wait, and this place is definitely a hot spot on weekend mornings. This is my favorite brunch spot in the 'burbs of Denver. Perhaps it's their gouda grits (simply heavenly like little cheesy clouds with salty snowflakes and comfy fireplace warmth). They used to run out of grits every Sunday if you got there late, but now they have the grits all day, whew!! Or perhaps it's their affordable bottomless mimosas that make it so endearing. Either way, you have to check them out for yourself! I've been experimental at this hot spot, and I've liked every single breakfast item I've had there. There's truly nothing "bad." The line is always out the door, so be prepared to wait a bit. And you can't make reservations ahead of time. It's a lot faster if you're only there with one or two other people. Went here for breakfast when I was in the area. In had the lobster Benedict and my w9fe had the 4 egg omelette. Eggs were on point as they weren't fresh smelling but tasted fresh. The lobster Benedict was food but had asparagus which didn't add anything to the meal. I removed them and ate it separate. The line was long but we got in fast. They text you when a d seat is ready. The staff was cool and unique. They have quotes up about breakfast. They also have bottomless mimosas. Fun times read more
