I have a Porsche Taycan 4S. I love the car but somehow the charger at my work would not release from the charge port. I tried the on-line forum solution, no luck. Then I called Victor at Rusnak Porsche who sent Sean over to my shop but the cable would not budge. Next day, Victor sends a mechanic and frees the charger cable. Tried to return the Maserati but they refused to take the car without proper appointment, whatever that means. Called the third party inspector so I don't know what else I need. In a nutshell, they didn't want to take the car today because it's 4pm. Made an appointment for next Monday, days beyond the registration expires, and said that they'll give me a 7 day grace but I'll have to make the call, whatever that means again. Service here sucks. Ok.. I resisted posting this for months.... but after 2 more unpleasant and a 3rd terrible encounters with service and their attitude and complete disregard for customer .. i cant hold off anymore . I bought a 2019 GT3 RS in February of 2019. The purchase transaction was only made pleasant through my sales agent ( who is no longer there) .. the manager at the time( no longer there either) showed quite an arrogant and rude attitude.. if it was not for my appreciation of David Burke, my sales agent, i would have walked out.... Since then (7 months): Terrible experience with customer service at service! Irresponsible, careless approach to customers.. Carless delays in service.. and argumentative insulting insinuations to brushoff responsibility for repairs and issues. Car stays there for 10 days to 14 days at a time for issues that should take 2-3 days according to other Porsche dealers. Within the last 1000 miles (approx 2 months) .. my car has needed to be looked at for 3 minor issues.. My car spent 32 days total there. Once for 10 days.. once for 14 days and once for 8 days ....not because there was work in progress.. No... it was just there collecting dust..and most of the time was left out under the scorching valley sun. The actual diagnostics, work and parts orders were a matter of few days! And to add insult to injury they never once offered a loaner car! They were reserved for non warranty repair customers! Ludicrous! Service almost never responds to phone calls.. pretty much all the time one gets passed on to answering machine and that to no avail. Live human being/receptionist, if they even exists, seem to be busy with other things other than answering and directing calls. It had come to a point were if i wanted answers I had to make a trip there and if I was 'lucky' i may have gotten an answer. Last encounter ... dropped off my car for tire change, door rattle and a loose light washer spray nozzle. 1 week after dropping off the car nothing was done.. nothing.. even the tires i needed were not ordered a week after! .....and other issues that could have been looked at in the meanwhile were completely ignored.. Followed by insinuating insults by the service advisor to brush responsibility off their back for some warranty work ! ( we are taking a $200 part here.. on a 260k car!) When asked to see the service manager.... i was told there is no service manager! He was fired. My sales agents Dave gone , no longer there. My previous service advisor gone. When asked to see the operation/dealer manager.. i was made to wait 1 hour to no avail.. he was on a phone call for one hour supposedly ! .. and supposedly knowing a customer is waiting for him. Finally a Parts manager was sent to listen to my issues..' Parts Manager'! He was nice enough to listen.. but still no definitive answers.. Next day I call for answers .. again no answers.. just answering machines! Texting.. no response! Ended-up driving there again.. zero work was done.. ZERO (at this point car was in their possession for 8 days) Frustrated and aggravated and my intelligence and integrity insulted by service advisor ... ended up taking my car and leaving.. and will never return again! Upon leaving, the Manager who had kept me waiting 1 hour the day before , suddenly wanted to invite me in his office to resolve issues! To which i responded too little too late! Porsche HQ is who will hear from me ! This dealership is marring Porsche's image and experience.. At the least i can confidently say they have managed to leave that effect on me. And what also takes thing to totally unacceptable levels is insinuations and insults directed towards the customer to brush issues off their back ! 1 hour .. waiting for the manager! ??and never even once being acknowledged that a customer with an issue is waiting....despite my repeated reminders. Rudeness by service advisor.. Zero accountability or care for customer's concerns.. Carless promise with zero accountability! No loaners Topped by insinuating insults over petty stuff. ....There is more .. but too much to write here! Embarrassing and Low are words that come to mind ! Its not just one thing, one occasion....It has been a whole series of issues, which have gone on and on and on for a while that led me to write this review. I resisted for months and gave it the benefit of doubt... but they just pushed me too far. MESSED UP! You have been warned! There is no need for things to get to this point.. Taking Responsibility, Cordiality and Respect for your Customers will go a long way RUSNAK! The behavior and conduct you have exhibited is no better than you guys shooting yourselves in your own foot! There are other Porsche dealers who will be more than happy to have my business! Came in to get pricing for a car, need to swap my lease. The showroom was empty, an employee drove one if the cars into the glass stand and knocked it over. Not a single sales person approached to ask if I need assistance. After about trying to find a sales person myself, I asked the front desk to find a sales person, even she couldn't find anyone. There was only 1 other customer there at the time. After about 10 mins she came back saying someone is coming to help me. I waited another 15 mins and still nobody came by I just left. Oh and 2 employees were standing and complaining that there are too many cars on the lot and no room. Here is an idea, how about help a customer to buy some. read more

It is exceptional to spend $100,000+ on an Porsche and find a dealership that could not care less about its customer, particularly one who has spent his life building relationships in the Los Angeles area and whose family has developed a reputation for honesty and integrity. Further, the Auto Manufacturers spend millions and even billions cultivating a promise of quality customer service and craftsmanship when buying a premium car. Yet at Rusnak, Pasadena, the management team (especially Porsche Sales and Service Team--but extending to the owners themselves) seem to have made so much money that their past success and wealth now insulates them from having to concern themselves with the needs of their (no longer) valued customers. Wow! I have bought many cars from other premium dealerships with no problems: Porsche/Audi/Mercedes dealerships (Hoehn (Carlsbad)/Keyes (SF Valley) / Zumbach (NYC); Tesla (online--what a joy to work with them); Ford (San Gabriel//Bob Wondries). Further, I owned a business automotive related enterprise that catered to dealerships, therefore teaching me how QUALITY DEALERSHIPS value their Customers, CSI indices, and overall reputation in the community. I HAVE NEVER HAD AN EXPERIENCE SO NEGATIVE AS I HAD AT RUSNAK PORSCHE. NEVER. OK: WHY, DID I EVER GO TO RUSNAK? Honestly, I decided to buy from Rusnak because it is near my home and a wonderful young man was starting his career selling cars there. So I moved my business from other dealerships, also thinking that the Rusnak family are neighbors and care about our community and its People. WHAT A MISTAKE! Once I wrote a large check, signed paperwork and was out the door, I NO LONGER EXISTED TO RUSNAK. The Rusnak F&I department never lifted a finger to help me complete necessary paperwork to pay my loan (I could not get an account number for Porsche financial), therefore creating problems with Porsche Financial. Then, after PORSCHE PROVIDED THE WRONG MAILING ADDRESS TO ME, I found out six months later that every month, my checks were going to the wrong address, and that no one from Porche was telling me. Ding after ding on my credit report. I only found out when going to my banker, who asked me what was happening to my credit report??? When I figured out the problem, including that it was Porsche financial's and Rusnak's error, THEY REFUSED TO HELP ME. A simple letter to the credit agency would have sufficed; however, RUSNAK refused to help. Further, the problem is "top down." Each time I tried to elevate the problem to a higher level, the response got WORSE. Again, apparently the dealership and owners has made so much money that they no longer care about their customers (Indeed, since my dismal experience, I have heard time and again from people I know in the area that Rusnak believes we are 'privileged' to buy from them). You will see Rusnak throughout Los Angeles County. They are in Pasadena, west Los Angeles, throughout our region. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM. They do not care about their customers, and from my experience it comes from the top of the organization. Go with others mentioned in this review. This review is for the service department: The wiper blade of my one week old Macan was not returning to its resting position. So it was sitting over an inch on top of the windshield border. I took it to Rusnak, where I leased the car, in the early morning right before they open hoping for a easy quick fix. Well, the service lady straight up denied that there is any issue. Even after comparing with a nearby loaner Macan, that shows my wiper was sitting over an inch above the normal position, she still told me it was normal. When I continued to point out the problem, she told me if it bothers me I need to make an appointment, which there isn't any until over a week later. The whole time she was so sure that she was right and not acknowledging the issue was very frustrating and laughable. Just for a comparison in service. I work in riverside, so I called Walter Porsche after I left, and they were able to take me in right away. When I arrived, they immediately told me that the blade was not positioned correctly, which should sit flush or below the windshield line. Then they sent me away in a Macan loner, which again shows that my car's wiper was a manufacture defect. In a couple of hours I got a call that my wiper blade was fixed. Really wish Rusnak treated me better especially when I got the car from them. read more

This Porsche dealership was just one of the many I have visited, including McKenna, since they have BMW and Audi at their dealership as well, and the Beverly Hills as well as the Porsche dealership in DTLA, on Figueroa St. Since these dealerships also have other luxury brands in their inventory, so I figure, it's a good opportunity for me to check out other models, although, ideally, I was interested in a new Porsche Taycan. I have a penchant for luxury performance vehicles, particularly German Engineered vehicles, and that's what I have always owned and driven as well, because I am kind of obsessed with the power, performance and luxurious styling of these vehicle(s). Overall, great experience with all of these wonderful dealers, except, their inventory is somewhat limited, when it comes to the new Porsche Taycan models, especially the Turbo/Turbo S models. So after having visited different dealerships, and check out their inventory and different models, with different options and packages, I was able to get a good sense of what I want, and with those things in mind, I decided to just custom build my own Taycan online and have it ship from Germany instead. Since these dealerships didn't have enough inventory of the exact model, with the exact features I wanted. I enjoy that personalize feeling of being able to customize my own vehicles any way. So I am very happy that I was able to do that with my new Taycan. This would have been a 5-stars review, if these dealerships had more options and selections in their inventory. However, I am also aware that the Taycan has limited production, even though Porsche have increased the numbers a bit over the last year, to meet high demands of the Taycan, but there is still a lot of people being waitlisted, just to get on the reservation list. So I figure, I'll just order mine directly from Germany, that way, I would get the dream Taycan I wanted that will look and feel totally personalized and uniquely mine. The wait was over, and it was worth it, I am very happy with my new Taycan and I have to thank these wonderful sales reps at these dealerships for their hospitality and services, to help me with my very first Porsche purchase, even though mine was not through one of their available inventory model(s). I certainly really enjoy visiting these dealerships and looking forward to coming back in the near future, if I'm looking for another luxury vehicle/sports vehicle. :) read more

Okay so I am updating this review from the original one that I had posted. Porsche (Terry West), Scott and Greg were able to assist me in getting some help from Porsche of North American to address a known issue even out of warranty. I did have to pay out of pocket only a small percentage on the labor but in the end there were able to help in a big way, only need to return to address a check engine light that came on a day after I received the car back but the major part of the work is done and back on the road. I purchased my Turbo Cayenne here and will return for more things as they happen. read more
