This review is about the sales team. I drove two hours from San Diego to Pasadena to look at a car I was interested in. I was in discussion with Aric Rogokos for one week prior. However, when my significant other and I got there, I was shocked by the repeated disrespectful comments that occurred and what became an overwhelming feeling that Aric had no interest in selling us a car and was wasting our time. Giving them the benefit of the doubt and that I had heard from many that the "Rusnak" experience stood for something, I gave feedback to the general manager Mark Umutyan when he initially sent an email asking for it. But by the lack of communication since, I can only assume this a culture condoned at Rusnak Porsche. We worked with Nathan Buttrey (Internet Sales Manager) over the phone and Internet and he was always responsive and easy to work with. In October, when I had 2 more lease payments on my Mercedes, he was willing to pay my remaining lease payments for me so I can get into my new car earlier (they will pay up to 3 months and you have to show them a valid lease contract). Everyone at the dealership seems nice and welcoming (not stuck up like some dealerships). We decided to wait because I wasn't set on getting a cayenne yet and was going back and forth on two different cars. When my Benz car lease was due, we contacted Nathan again and he gave us a fabulous deal after going back and forth a few times and made it easy to choose the cayenne instead of going with our second choice. The quote over the phone matched what was on paper and it took less than an hour for the paperwork and going over car features and questions. Nathan said we can call him anytime too if questions come up later. About two days after we had the car, and we were loving it, I called Nathan to let him know we were thinking about canceling the maintenance program. I was going back and forth on that and I really thought he would just tell me, sorry, too late. But instead Nathan was a breadth of fresh air and explained the maintenance program in detail and said if I still wanted to cancel it, it was not a problem. I would highly recommend Nathan and the Pasadena Rusnak. I have yet to try their service, but I will come back and upstate my review after I do. read more

Next, we went to McKenna Porsche where they did have a car we liked (but the salesperson was inexperienced and even though I had used McKenna service for my Carrera 4 GTS and my previous Porsche's, they would not deal with me whatsoever). After searching all of the Porsche dealerships in Southern California, I finally found the car we wanted at Rusnak Pasadena. I called and fortunately was connected with our salesman, Alex Manzari. I told him I was a repeat customer (bought my first Carrera there) and that I was expecting a discount. He checked with the manager and called me back with what I considered to be a nice discount given the lack of inventory out there. So my wife and I headed from Huntington Beach to Pasadena to buy her next car. In a nutshell, the whole transaction was seamless and I could not have asked for better service. My car got a flat tire on Thanksgiving, so as you can imagine, I was pretty stressed. On Friday, I called AAA to have someone put my spare on. Big mistake. The guy had no idea how to handle a Porsche, he started kicking my tire when it wouldn't come off... I called Porche roadside assistance after some tire shop tried ripping me off. I forgot to call Rusnak before having the tow truck scheduled. I called and Jason was SOOO helpful. He stayed an hour and a half late to make sure my car had arrived. He coordinated everything, made sure there was air in all tires, and he even checked in with me the next day to make sure picking up the car was quick and painless.
