Both young gentlemen were so professional, polite, and attentive I was completely impressed! They also worked together lockstep as a team and were so wonderful. I'd give them ten stars if I could. Let's be clear: the five stars on this review is for the service! I wish so badly the food would have been on par with the service. I've eaten here before and remember being impressed, but yesterday the food was meh. The filet was kind of tough and the baked potato was nothing special. This restaurant has both a main seating dining area and a small bar with about 10 seats at the bar and 3-4 high top two seaters. We always choose the bar. You're very lucky if you can grab a seat. It's a quick easy pick after a round of golf at Park City Municipal. My usual go to here is the steak sandwich. It's $24 with fries and has gotten substantially smaller and a lot more expensive since last summer. Nonetheless, it's very good with a mound of your choice of fries. I chose the shoestring and they were too thin really but tasty. I mean like actually the size of string. Expensive for sure but you are at a resort hotel/golf course so it goes with the territory. The servers at the bar are ultra polite and attentive. We will hit the bar for dinner several times this summer. It's consistent, quick, easy and pretty darn good for a bar menu. read more

Went again for our anniversary and the new menu did not disappoint. We got a steak and it was the best thing we ate! If you get one thing at Ruth's Chris, please make sure you don't miss out on a tender and delicious steak! We tried the new Chilean sea bass and while the fish was good, the rest of the plate didn't blow us away. We had a few bites and left the rest in order to enjoy more of the other dishes. We always get the sweet potato casserole because it compliments the steak nicely and is so very delicious! The wedge salad was also wonderful and our waitress kindly added extra bacon and swapped out the blue cheese for feta. (For the owners: we couldn't always hear our waitress really well and we are not hard of hearing.) We also love the sparkling lemonades and LOVED the new piña colada. We'll be back again! First time at this location but not my first time at a Ruth's Chris. The short is not nearly as good as I have experienced at many other Ruth's Chris. It was a nice evening and the meal was fair. We booked reservations online and although we arrived early, we were seated rather quickly. Our server came over and going forward, it seemed very mechanical. He was nice enough, but when he asked how we were doing and we replied "fine", he came back with a very trite response of "I'm doing good, thank you for asking" although we had never even asked him. For a starter, we had the barbecued shrimp and I would recommend against. The shrimp were very undercooked and the bread that came with it was quite stale. It's supposed to be in a garlic butter with bbq spices, but there was very little if any of that in this sauce. We each had a salad; mine was the wedge and instead of a wedge, it's more like half a head of lettuce. It would have been better off just serving as a wedge of lettuce and maybe with the sparse amount of dressing they served, the wedge would have been more suited. For an entrée, we both had the filet mignon and I had mine topped with bleu cheese. The temperature of the steak was fine. But the quality of the meat wasn't. It was of course edible, but it was a very bland tasting piece of meat. And I don't know the brand of bleu cheese they use to top a steak, but this wasn't Maytag, Stilton or any of the other top bleu cheeses. For sides, we had the grilled asparagus and the lobster mac & cheese. It's kind of hard to mess up asparagus. But the lobster mac & cheese had the taste and consistency of something you would buy at the local store and microwave. When I hear responses like "it was a busy weekend", it just doesn't cut it with me. If you are going to provide me with a substandard meal, the bill should reflect it. But for a $300+ bill for two people, I expect perfection much like I have experienced at other Ruth's Chris. We picked Ruth's Chris because of experiences at other locations but I can confidently say I won't be back to this location. read more

It's been a while since I've been to Ruth's Chris, and unfortunately, this visit may be my last. The overall quality has noticeably declined. The bread was doughy, and the butter lacked flavor. We ordered two ribeyes, but they were different thicknesses--one was cooked as requested, while the other was overdone. Both the mashed potatoes and creamed spinach were bland, though the sautéed mushrooms were delicious. The chocolate explosion cake was dry and could have used more sauce or a scoop of ice cream. On a positive note, the apple pie was very good, the service was solid, and the outdoor seating was beautiful. read more

You know, for a pricey steak, it doesn't impress me. I do love the ambiance of the place. And they treat you well. I just wasn't too impressed. If I am ordering a steak, I would expect potatoes to be thrown in with it -- we all know how inexpensive they are. I ordered the shrimp dish since it came with potatoes. I wasn't that impressed. I can find something similar, a bit better, and a lot cheaper at Red Lobster. I think I'll stick to making my own premium steaks at home. read more

Our first time going to Ruth Chris. We went as part of our anniversary celebration. They made it special with some rose petals on the table. The service was awesome. Jeff made our experience a great one. We got checked on several times by the manager. We liked the food so much we forgot to take pictures. Everything received five stars. The Chop Salad was full of fun things and not overdressed The cream spinach was not as heavy as we thought it would be. We enjoyed the flavor. The potatoes au gratin were excellent. Crabcakes did not have much filler in them. A lot of crab. It came on a sizzling hot plate. The ribeye was outstanding. They have access to meats I can't get to. Tender and well seasoned. Pro tip - take the remaining butter they bring for your bread and put it on your steak once it gets too the table. It will give you plenty of butter to soak every piece of steak. For dessert we had a berries and cream which might have been the best thing we ate. My wife ordered a chocolate explosion cake which came with a lot of fudge. Overall a great experience. read more

We tried a few new things starting with the lobster Mac & cheese which was super good, rich is an understatement and we took most home for later. The wife got the petite filet (again) which was amazing as always. The staff were nice and friendly, the food was extremely subpar, the steaks are over salted with cheap finely ground seasonings, asparagus, and potatoes were both undercooked. Even the drinks had an extremely heavy syrup taste, it made them feel like cheap ingredients for such a high-end restaurant. We had arrived a bit early so took a seat in the bar to order cocktails, the hostess came to get us before we had a chance to order, so the bartender was nice enough to take our order and said he'd bring them to us. The hostess showed us to a lovely window table decorated with red rose petals. This was the beginning to a lovely meal. Our starter salads, The Wedge Salads were crisp and tasty. The French bread and butter was fresh. My petite filet came perfectly cooked to order and sizzling hot on the plate. My husband's Alaskan King Salmon was cooked to perfection and melted in one's mouth. My wife and I are creatures of habit, returning to our favorite Park City restaurants over and over. But we had our Pharaohs club gift certificates which we needed to use and one of those was for Ruth's Chris, located in the Hotel Park City. We had a friend in town last Saturday night and so we dined there for the first time. Wow! What a great experience. Our waiter, Dryke went out of his way to make sure we really enjoyed ourselves. He was solicitous and caring but still left you alone, always appearing just when you wanted something. The food is top notch, the wine list quite good (for Utah) and the overall experience was five star. We will definitely return. I also have to give a call out to Aaron, who was the Manager of the Day. She came by to visit us when we first arrived and we spent several minutes have a very enjoyable, personal conversation about life and kids. If you are looking for a great steak and all that goes with it then Ruth's Chris is a must when you are in Park City. read more
