    Breakfast Plate add chicken sausage
    Kennedy K.

Breakfast plate was good I'd get this again if I went back. My boyfriend got the breakfast burrito and it was sooo small I honestly felt bad I ended up giving him half my potatoes, half my avocado, and a chicken sausage because he was still starving. The lady at the counter helped me with my order and was super nice but said the burrito would be super filling... I disagree. Their coffee is bomb I'd go back for this. They have a nice outside and bar area so plenty of seating which I loved. Overall, go for the coffee and pastries. If you're looking for good food then go to milligram which is literally right next to it.

I don't usually leave bad reviews, but this one really missed the mark. I ordered a breakfast sandwich for $16.50, and it was shockingly small, literally smaller than my hand. For that price, I expected something at least filling, but it was the opposite. The bread was honestly the biggest disappointment. This is supposed to be a pastry-focused place, but the bread was so hard and tough it was difficult to chew. It didn't taste fresh at all. Inside, you get just one egg (I ordered sunny side up) and one chicken sausage. The sausage was super dry and felt like it had been reheated from frozen. No flavor, no texture--just disappointing. That's it. No sides, no substance. For $16.50, you leave still hungry. I've heard their pastries are good, but if you're charging that much for a breakfast sandwich, the quality and portion should match. This just wasn't it. :/

Cute coffee shop in building complex! Aesthetic is nice with mature trees and outdoor seating. Ordered an Americano, breakfast burrito with sausage and chocolate croissant. The croissant had an odd taste so would not order again (think it might have been made with rye). The breakfast burrito had little to no sausage and when asked to add beans, they said that was not an option even though there are beans on the menu. Overall would not go back but there is another breakfast option in the same complex that I would try.

    Weekend special - forget name

Rye goods is a cute spot in Costa Mesa serving pastries, coffee, bread loafs, and breakfast. I personally love their chili egg bagel. My friend ordered the weekend special and said it was too soupy for her taste, the yogurt base is cold and it is served with one egg and a slice of bread. The ambiance here is cute and the outdoor patio by the fountain is nice. Overall would recommend!

I loved this spot ! I always come here after workout and get their caramelized date matcha ! It's honestly to die for. Their food is also pretty good so far I've tried their breakfast sandwich and their plate and both are pretty healthy and no seed oils which is a pretty big deal to me! Also the customer service has always been 10/10!

Date Latte, House Sandwich, Jalapeño Cheddar Loaf

Beautiful location! Very warm and welcoming greetings from the staff, incredibly personable I felt great. Had to try their Date Latte with Almond milk and their house veggie sandwich, and took home a loaf of bread. The loaf was $13, not insane for house baked bread but it was quite a tough loaf that got pretty stale pretty quick, i'm not sure how fresh they are. The sandwich had great flavors, but the huge chunks of pepper jack with the very dense bread made it a little difficult to eat. The latte was great, not overly sweet and I adore their espresso!! So fresh so smooth. I love sitting outside it's always so beautiful there with ample seating & cute little stores next door to walk around to.

Phenomenal sandwiches and pastries. Their coffee was also really good too! We will definitely be back to try their breads as well. Be prepared to pay more than the average cafe but it is well worth it. The space inside and outside is also gorgeous. Parking is a nightmare. Even though they have complimentary valet the valet guys are not paying attention and will turn you away even if there are spots. Try carpooling because you can't miss out on this place!

The sourdough bread is so delicious with some butter and jam. They also have great coffee & it is a perfect place to work. The staff is friendly and always willing to fix your order if something is off

Visited Rye Goods on a Saturday around 11AM. There's a parking lot with limited self parking spots but there is valet. The line was right about at the door but they assist you quicker if you're just grabbing bread or pastries. My husband and I ordered 1. Croque Madam - This had a sweet jam-like (?) flavor, which I wished was less sweet, but it was a nice balance with the thick slice of bread and heavier sauce. While the toasts are served on top of a piece of paper, it doesn't work well for this dish as the paper gets wet due to the sauce, and if using a fork and knife to eat the toast, it cuts right through the paper. 2. Rye Scramble - A simple dish with scrambled eggs on a baguette and some greens but this was delicious! The eggs were soft and fluffy. 3. Rye Potatoes - Seasoned well, I just wished they were a tad crispier. 4. Maple Rosemary Matcha - Recommended by the server and I enjoyed it! Sweet but not too sweet and has a hint of rosemary. 5. Peppermint Latte - Husband said the peppermint wasn't too strong but that he enjoyed it that way! We waited 40min for our food but we anticipated that after reading reviews that food took a while. We ate both the Croque Madam and Rye Scramble with a fork and knife and the bread was hard to cut through. Could use some sharper knives! Overall the food/drink and ambiance were great. The outdoor patio is lovely on a nice day!

    Fried chicken sandwich

Came here to say for a girls brunch super cute inside and out with plenty of seating even on a Saturday. The food was pretty good nothing to day dream about and the drinks were perfect we ordered a matcha and a chai. Food wise I was pretty disappointed with my fried chicken sandwich it was really deep fried and dark and the bread was super thick and dry the chipotle mayo was definitely its savory. The bread pudding was pretty dry for a bread pudding but had good flavor. I'd definitely say the caramalized onion pastry was my favorite would be better with maybe from turkey or ham inside but didn't have much to complain about with that one. Staff told us our drinks would be out shortly and they'd call out for us when it's ready I never heard them I just had to keep walking back inside to see if it was ready. Like ambiance wise it's perfect food wise looks good and all but it's hit or miss

Met my mom and sister for breakfast yesterday, such a cute spot! There's plenty of patio seating as well as indoor tables with outlets, making it a great place to get some work done. We ordered the market greens sandwich, avocado toast, and heirloom tomato cream cheese bagel, along with 3 morning sugar lattes. Everything was delicious!!!The staff was super friendly. Big plus for being dog friendly outside!

Cute little charming bakery that has some food offerings as well. The interior is clean and this is a great spot for breakfast or lunch. The service was pretty fast. The sourdough was yummy, that was my favorite. There's seating outdoors where you can enjoy your coffee or food. The salad that came with my breakfast dish had a zesty dressing which was a perfect contrast. Also enjoyed the seasoned potatoes.

Jalapeno bagel and orange creamsicle latte = a perfect Saturday morning

Busy as expected but so worth the wait. Everything was fresh for a Saturday morning and I love the seasonal drink options. I got the orange creamsicle latte and it was perfectly made. Girl at the register was sweet and provided hold suggestions.

Really excellent espresso and kind employees. Took off a star because we waited almost 25 minutes for a bagel!
