    Provence eggs

Finally got to come to Rye Goods after so many Parlor visits and seeing this place, always closed. Always calling, bay window workshop. Is the question would you like to bake here? If so the answer is a resounding HELL YES! So after much restraint we ended up with just morning buns, very flaky laminated dough with generous cinnamon sugar sprinkles. A Kringle, I got to try for the very first time, laminated dough with jam and streusel. The personal kringle definitely is more than enough as the jammy center was a bit too sweet for me but the flaky lamination of this rye incorporated dough was gone before I could finish the coffee. The breakfast foods reminds me of what Eller Bakery was going for, frenchy and brunchy and a fine portion for a small petite person but one egg in Provence eggs was kind of not enough. Quantity over quality. Buttery rye crust on the quiche and cooked with arugula and zucchini, and shallots. The side salad is very nice and refreshing, just a couple of sneaky slimy lettuce that snuck in. But the crust of the quiche is so good I accidentally ate all of it before finishing the coffee. Long story short, the drip was hot and came after food. Pastries left a bit of grease on the hands and would not age well after 18-24 hours. Also side note, that Kringle is not technically a Kringle more like a sweet kolache as my friend who graduated and worked at Spago corrected me.

Came here on a Monday morning and got a black coffee and a coffee bun. Ran me about 11 dollars. Overall the coffee and pastry was good. Nothing wrong with this place and it has the advantage of a large seating area as well as plentiful parking here in the morning. I know for a fact that the parking lot gets busy in the afternoon and starts to die down as the evening approaches. If you're in the area and need a pick me up this is a solid option.

Menu: Typical coffee shop menu with some housemade syrups; lots of pastries/food Drink adjustability: They'll adjust sweetness levels (milk alternatives: $1) Seating: Open warehouse seating with a couple outlets Crowd: quiet mornings, seating fills up near lunch Parking: Plenty (corporate park) Features: No water filler, nice restrooms Came to Rye Goods on a Thurs morning around 8a to meet up with a friend. The entrance area has their pastries on display/breads for purchase, as well as a coffee menu. They had seasonal housemade syrups with lovely spice profiles. Regrettably, I haven't yet tried their baked goods, but my latte was lovely. Vibes here are great, plenty of metal tables/chairs and some sofas. There are a couple of seats are near outlets on a support column, but seats fill up pretty quickly after 10am. Lots of students come here to study. Heads up that as of Feb 2026 there's a small pizza place that shares the space- white tables are for Rye Goods, black tables are for the restaurant- and I saw them ask coffee shop customers to relocate tables once the restaurant opened.

Holy Moly Guacamole to the Avocado Toast Power. GREAT ODINS RAVEN. Wish I had known about this place a lot sooner. It's literally the closest establishment to my home (other than that Marijuana dispensary of course ;) ) This place is everything I love about a local business. Friendly warm and inviting staff. They offer advice and make sure to recommend appropriately based on my questions. That is hard to come by these days with so many clueless Gen Z employees that are socially awkward and competent as hell. Everyone here is awesome. The empanada was phenomenal. The almond milk late with that caramElized date syrup was exquisite. Can't wait to try the banana bread and Kringle I brought. Btw haven't even mentioned one of the best parts. This place is apparently ALL or mostly organic. Game changer. Btw I'm sure everyone loves how spacious it is, and the ample amount of tables and couches. I'm sure they provide WiFi as well since it seems like a great place to study / work. Cheers Big Ears!!!

Very minimalist & sustainable which i LOVE! We came with a group of 10 to celebrate my sister's birthday for lunch. Food was served quickly and the staff was expeditious! Some of our favorites this morning: Avocado Toast, Breakfast Sandwich & Cinnamon Roll. Everything was served fresh and presented beautifully. The open kitchen shows all the hard-work going on in the back I love how excited my family was to introduce us to this bakery and excited to return again soon!

    Country loaf & Sesame loaf!

LOVED the sesame sourdough bread some friends got for us. I've been eating it with some high test first harvest cold pressed EVOO with breakfast almost daily. I haven't tried all of the baked good since that's not my jam, but i can verify the bread it very good.

My friend and I went in the early afternoon, it was pretty quiet pretty quiet, but most of the items are sold out. I got a loaf of sesame and sourdough sesame bagel. On their website, they had their loaf selections under "Sourdough." However, the sesame loaf did not taste like it's a sourdough bread. The ingredient list did states there's starter included. Same goes with the sourdough sesame bagel, it didn't taste anything like sourdough. I'm not sure if it's the starter ratio to rye flour it is used. If you are looking for sourdough bread then I'm not recommending this spot. Most of their goods are a bit pricey. The staffs were not super welcoming and aware of everything. I'm not sure if it's because it has been a busy day that they went through. The parking lot is spacious. The interior store is simple and clean.

Focaccia, honey mustard chicken sandwich, tomato soup and their potatoes are all amazing

Originally went there for the golf coffee next door but ended up going here instead. They have a hugeeee seating area, great service and good food and drink. Gotta give it for great service though, they got me the wrong soup but not only they were so apologetic, they were so quick on getting me the new soup as well as a pastry as an apology. 5/5 stars!

    Iced chai apple cider

I came here on a Tuesday afternoon and it was shockingly crowded, even with the large parking lot that everyone's raving about right now. I loved how spacious the seating area was with its mix of steel chairs/tables and comfy couches. There's nice natural lighting too, definitely a good place to study and get work done. Although it was busy, drinks came out quickly which was much appreciated! Personally I didn't find the chai apple cider very exciting - I felt like the flavors didn't blend super well with one another. It may be the kind of drink to have hot instead of iced. My friends did enjoy their coffees though!

Caramalised onion Brie croissant, egg sandwich on an everything bagel, peach and ricotta on toasted sourdough
    Lauren W.

Went on a Saturday afternoon and there was no wait, a lot of different seating options, and just a nice and quiet ambiance to enjoy the meal in. The food itself was great in my eyes, I love savory and the egg avocado sandwich was delicious and had a great sauce in it as well. Definitely get it in an everything bagel! The caramalized onion and Brie croissant was in another level!! A little over salty due to all the flavors but the combination of flavors was so amazing together. And the ricotta toast was great, the fruit and cheese is heavy in instead, but the sourdough was so hearty and thick that it was able to balance it out well. Overall I would love to come back here.

3.5/5 stars does not make this Rye Goods seem like a place you want to go, but it is an excellent bakery and I would definitely give it a try! If I could give half stars, I would give 4.5/5. Rye Goods boasts an amazing variety of both sweet and savory pastries as well as more breakfast-type items. They also have lunch/snack type items in a refrigerated case. All look and sound great! Really large warehouse with tons of seating inside and out; a perfect place for a business mixer! We enjoyed a large assortment of both sweet and savory pastries: chocolate coffee twist, blueberry ginger scone, gruyere and cream cheese croissant, curry hand pie, and some sort of savory focaccia. The savories won me over (hand pie could have had more flavor); the sweets were both a tad dry and the scone could have been more gingery for me as a ginger lover. The crumb on the focaccia was amazingly light and airy and had a fantastic texture (as well as flavor) and the lamination of the croissant was impressive. It does not deserve 5/5 stars because I was left wanting a bit on the sweets, the coffee (americano) was just okay (this is definitely not a coffee shop), and the prices were a bit high. However, I would absolutely go back and get at least two of the items again and try more off of their menu.

This is such a nice, open space area to gather! The place is huge with a vast parking space. There is plenty of comfortable seating and you get natural light. The staff is very friendly and helpful with questions. They have quite a selection of baked goods! I ended ordering an iced strawberry matcha and a blueberry ginger scone. Strawberry Matcha- The matcha is rich and creamy and the strawberry syrup gave it a sweet and fruity twist! I am a fan of this flavor profile but this place has done it best so far. Make sure to stir your drink to make the most of it. Blueberry Ginger Scone- I love the ginger base! It reminds me of winter and the little zing you get at the end is delightful. The blueberries blend with the base pretty well and it's topped off with a sweet icing glaze! Will definitely be back!

I discovered this play when I searched for this liqueur on Google. A few places popped up... in New York or San Diego. I didn't realize this stuff can only be found at select places. I'm from the Bay Area and it was tough to find it there. Well, I happen to be here in Orange County and The Original Wine Club popped up. They had what I was looking for online but I thought I'd give them a call - just to be sure. The person who answered the phone was very nice. He patiently looked and then let me know he had 2 bottles. I told him I would be coming from Corona and he said he'd have them for me whenever I got there. It took me about 30 min. Lots of parking. Big space full of bottles and lots of different types of liquor and wine. A man greeted me and I said "I'm the one who called about Grand Poppy." He walked me directly to the bottles. He was super friendly and kind. He knew his stuff that's for sure. Well, let's fix that right now because this place should be a must-see destination when you are in Orange county. I'm not kidding, this place is an adult Disneyland! The moment you walk in the door it is a visual sensory overload. To the left isn't a complete cigar shop with some of the most elusive and amazing brands. It is definitely a must-see when you go in. The humidor is stocked to the gills, and they have every accessory you could possibly want. As you keep walking, to your left, they have an amazing gourmet chocolate section that is second to none. One of my favorite places to go and just wander around like a kid in a candy store... Literally. You have to go downstairs where the wine selection is. I'm not kidding you, it is like a half a city block long broken down into country, region, varietal, and tight. There are so many bottles to choose from. You can get anything from a $10 bottle up to a $17,000 bottle of wine If you are a bourbon, Scotch, or whiskey fan, you have to check out the selection that they have. They have amazing deals, they work with the distillers to have a great selection of high-end alcohol. Speaking of high-end, behind the glass obviously is the really high-end stuff like pappy, Van Winkle, whistle, pig and many others to choose from. Are they pricey? Yes they are. Are they hard to find, yes they are. Can I afford them? Absolutely not. But they are fun to look at like paintings in a museum. Here's the secret ticket for those of you going in at the back of the bourbon section, right next to the walk-in beer cooler, they have a discount rack where you can pick up bottles for seriously 90% hot. Hot it is definitely worth a look because sometimes you will find amazing deals on stuff that you never thought you could afford. Speaking of beer, you can buy kegs six packs, individual cans of just about any beer you can think of... And even some you did not know existed. It is definitely worth your while to go there and hang out for an hour. I can't end this review before bragging on the staff. Super nice, super helpful, willing to make suggestions, and just making your visit. Fun is the cornerstone of the experience. Super great people kind of like cheers, where they remember your name. Bottom line? You would be doing a disservice if you did not go check this place out. Highly recommended and Dan Leadbetter approved!
