I came here on a Saturday morning and the wait wasn't too bad! A bit shocking where it was located though. It was literally next to a 7/11 and a laundry mat. I'm like ok, here we go, let's give the benefit of doubt. To my surprise, turned out I absolutely loved it. Their menu is like a fusion of Mexican, American, Mediterranean breakfast. It's crazy because I don't normally and out of the blue ordered a classic benedict. It was realllly good. The presentation and the preparation was on point. A simple egg and ham muffin really did it for me, but it didn't end there! The potatoes is a must! They also included this spicy peruvian aji sauce on the side. Drench that all over the potatoes and you'll thank me for it. I actually had to order another side of potatoes because my fiancé went in on it too, lol. We also ordered the classic nut. It was a walnut pancake with berries and banana on top. I really enjoyed that as well. Not too sweet, great taste of cinnamon flavor. Perfect breakfast item to include. Orange juice is freshly pressed no additives and you should also try their horchata latte iced! In addition to drinks they do serve mimosas, we had their flight. You'll just have a hard time getting their attention and flagging someone down. I'll chalk it up to them being busy and possibly short staffed during my visit. When our plates were empty someone finally appeared with water for the table. The rest of my party ordered juice when we were seated and got it right away, so idk what happened with my plain old water Food was delicious! Ordering was easy, food came out at a decent time. I ordered the chilaquiles. You have an option to add eggs, or meat, or both. I added eggs. Had I not added anything, the plate would have been pretty bare. The best thing on my plate was their breakfast potatoes but they give you such a small portion of it. My boy ordered the American omelet. It looks big on the plate but it's pretty thin (not fluffy). For the price I expected a little more food but oh well, such is the current economy I guess. *le sigh* The restaurant is tucked in the corner of a small plaza with two other stores. There is small/medium sized parking lot. I can see how it'd be problematic for larger parties. The day I went, I got a spot as someone else was leaving! Indoor seating is decent for a small restaurant but if you have a large party (more than 4) maybe call ahead so they can push some tables together for you. There is also some outdoor seating. What's not to love about SAGE! The service is always great here and the food never misses. One thing about sage though, is it is a bit small- that means when it's busy, it's a bit if a wait but it's something you don't mind when the food tastes that good. My last visit, I took out my family for my sisters birthday brunch. Our server LUCIA was amazing!! She was super attentive and even brought out a little dessert and played a birthday song- my sister felt super special. We called for reservations a week prior and they stated we would be ok and they wrote our information down, when we arrived on Mother's Day, it was a mess. There were tons of people outside, when we said we had reservations they just wrote our name and how many people right then and there. One person said they had a reservation for 9:00am and we're still waiting by 10:00am. You should say you do not take reservations if you are not going to write them down. It seemed very unorganized. We had to leave to find somewhere else that would take us for Mother's Day, day of, which was very stressful. I'm pretty disappointed with the experience. The rosemary potatoes were delicious, and I would definitely go back just to eat those. My friend ordered French toast with a side of the potatoes, however, for some reason they brought out the potatoes as if they were an appetizer. We were so confused so I asked the waitress if she could take them back so we could have them with his meal. I came across this Lil gem from instagram. I saw that it was close by, so I had to check it out and let me tell you this place is so freaking cute. And I was happy that the food was great too. I tried the French toast, which came with some fruit and an ice cream looking topping that was so good, it turns out to be banana pudding. With eggs and bacon. My mom had the chilaquiles that came with eggs and potatoes. And they made my daughter a cute, happy face pancake with eggs and bacon. I also had to try the salmon Benedict. Everything was so good. We waited about 15 minutes for a parking spot to become available. We checked in, but there was a 15-minute wait as it was very busy for Valentine's Day. I ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk and a chimichurri skirt steak for lunch. My coworkers ordered a roasted chicken jalapeño panini, a horchata, and a grilled salmon lemon caper. My coworkers loved their food! The salmon takes about 20 minutes to make as it needs to be prepared and then baked; keep this in mind if this is the dish you want to have. For my dish, it came with rice pilaf and grilled vegetables. I substituted the rice for the rosemary potatoes. The steak was very flavorful. The chimichurri was perfectly tangy. The potatoes were nice and crispy. The veggies were steamed. I think they would be better grilled, but they were still good. The sauce on the side was very delicious. Came here on a Sunday around mid-morning for the brunch. It was DEFINITELY busy. I had heard of the restaurant before and knew they had quite a following but in all honesty, the location and the tiny parking lot are not quite equipped to handle the amount of people that come here. After parking across the street and finally settling in, we were greeted and since we had reservations we were able to get seated with a minimal wait. We ordered the Grilled Pork Chops and Egg, and the Dutch baby. I tend to lean more towards savory while my friend tends to lean more towards sweet so it was a nice combo. Both of the plates were delicious. I will say the food is really great and once you're seated the service is attentive. As far as the ambiance is concerned, it's a little loud. When I arrived a little after 9 AM there was no one in there. The place was completely empty I was the first to arrive. I was disappointed that they did not have mimosas, if you look on their pictures it does show some. I wish they would remove it as to not cause confusion. The staff was friendly and nice, unfortunately they need a lot more training on multitasking. We were done with our meals a few minutes before 10. We had to wait over half an hour for one of the girls to ask if we needed anything, and we were trying to get their attention subtly but they were just completely forgetting about our table. Again over 30 minutes I had to wait just for them to bring us our check and a box. It got to the point where I almost considered walking out just to see if they would even notice. Of course I would not leave without paying however at that point it's something I was really wanting to do since the staff had completely forgotten about us. Of course we waited patiently until we were finally able to get one of the girls to come over to our table. We did actually have somewhere else to be. The restaurant itself is a decent size there's several people, and several booths and one large table. Unfortunately they were just very understaffed for that Tuesday morning. My daughter and I decided to check out this quaint eatery not too far from our home. You can't tell from the outside on the street side how cute it is on the inside. The atmosphere is so cute, much like a cafe. Pops of green plants, Latin music, and friendly faces! So wonderful. Now food- my kid got the chicken and waffles and she loved them. The portion is pretty big, so be prepared to eat! I got the avocado toast and added eggs and bacon. SO GOOD. The avo toast comes with a side salad with a citrus balsamic type dressing. We stopped by around noon on Saturday and it was fairly busy. Without a reservation, we waited about 15 minutes before being seated. There were more groups of people walking up as we sat down, so it's a fairly popular place, especially on the weekends. After looking over the menu, which has a variety of breakfast and lunch options, we opted for the chilaquiles, steak sandwich, and cookie butter French toast. The chilaquiles portion was a little small, but it had a slightly tangy sauce and a good level of soft vs crunchy tortilla chips. The home style potatoes seem to be more of an after thought and there's only a few bites worth on the plate. The cookie butter French toast was really good. It was two pieces of thick Texas bread smothered with a flavor and rich cookie butter and fresh fruit. The steak sandwich was good as well, but it was a deli slicer thin piece of meat. I don't think it was even layered. The mocha latte and brown sugar latte were both tasty. I was really surprised with how fast things came out, especially if you consider how busy they were. They prefer cash and charge a couple percent more for using a card. The restaurant shares a small parking lot with a few other businesses, so you shouldn't have any problems parking. read more
