They had asked us how would you like it cooked, why ask that if both were overcooked and tuff as shoe leather, why ask? My eggs were wrong, I asked for over medium, not scrambled and their potatoes were burnt. The first bite tasted like potatoes mixed with charcoal. My wife ate as much as she could because she was so hungry but, the meat she left 80% of it there as it was overcooked, I didn't touch the one on my plate as it was supposed to be rare, was impossible to cut with a butter knife. Then a woman came by and asked how are meal was going and took one look at my wife and saw her expression...we were not having a good experience. We told her we don't even want to stay, it's so bad, but didn't want to make a scene, and ruin other customers days. The lady just took all the plates and said it's on the house today. I think it's sorta fair, I still needed to eat so ate later when I got home, but I'm having to comfort my wife more and apologize for Sage for ruining her morning. I had to apologize all ducking day. Oh man, I originally wanted to go here to see the beautiful butterflies and side patio, and I was not let down. It's not a large side patio but it was very cute, quaint, and we went on a very refreshing day. The Mediterranean toast was $13 and came with one piece of bread. It cost $1.50 to add 2 eggs, which wasn't a bad price, but I felt like it should've been included and not an add on. The salad was saturated in vinegar. The carnitas omelet was okay. The meat was pretty good, the potatoes were not very good. I am not sure if they added kale or some other green to them, but whatever it was, it was not good. It made them have a weird taste, in my opinion. We've been here twice and it's one of our favorite restaurants! I highly recommend the Mediterranean Salad with the beets!!! So tasty! Get it as a side with your meal or share it, like we did. However, they've managed to transform this otherwise boring corner into a great brunch spot! There's ample parking in the front and on the side of the restaurant. We came on a Sunday around noon so there was a little bit of a wait (around 20 minutes or so). They have both indoor and outdoor seating available on the side and behind the building. We sat outside at one of their side tables and it was too perfect that there was a fan pointing right at us to help keep us cool for a warm July morning. They have a pretty decent menu with some traditional breakfast items, eggs benedict options, Mediterranean-inspired lunch items, and signature sweet brunch dishes. I tried their chicken kebab plate that came with 3 seasoned chicken breast, rice pilaf, pita, hummus, and veggies. It was super filling and incredibly tasty. My husband tried their charm dutch baby with a side of eggs and potatoes. The dutch baby was cooked in a small cast-iron skillet with whipped cream and fruit on top and was perfectly sweet and satisfying. I also fell in love with their tropical iced tea. I don't think too much about iced teas, but I have to say this was one of the best-iced teas I've had.
