The food was excellent. My daughter is a very picky eater, but this is one of the few places she will actually eat. She also really enjoys the on site REAL Boba Tea shop. They make the drinks right where the customers can see and the drinks are really delicious with variety of choices. The ambiance is like a jazz club in the 90's with good food. read more

The place is nice and reminds me of Saigon. We all didn't get water till 15 min later. We had to wait 45 min before getting our food. Granted, there was a party of 20 people who came the same time. Most of us ordered vermicelli with pork and egg rolls. The flavor was very good but the portion was little. My sister needed to warm her curry tofu and that took a while. She had to stand up to ask when it would be done. The restroom was dirty and there was water on the floor. They charged us 20% tips and over charged us one item so check your receipt carefully. read more

Menu in store and online shows four sons beer on tap. Went in and they no longer have been on tap. Serivce was okay, but for being slow it was very slow. We needed soup boxed up and had to ask twice. I had one of the worst service experiences here tonight. The wait staff was all underage, told us they weren't allowed to pour the alcohol but then proceeded to pour us 1/4 glasses of wine even though we told them that it was not appropriate. The portions were wsmaller than we had before and the service was incredibly slow. And worst of all, we were sat next to the loudest (and only other) table in the restaurant. What can I say that hasn't been said!! This place was tasty, clean, friendly and TASTY!!! The staff were super polite and awesome. Very attentive, courteous and on point with the service. We ordered the calamari with Cajun seasoning, and the spring rolls with pork as starters. We also were accidentally given edamame, which we told them wasn't ordered but they gladly gave it to us on the house. That of course so super nice of them to do. Also that edamame sauce was freaking amazing, some sort of spicy teriyaki sauce (which I saved to dip my fries in). The apps were tasty, would order all three again. For the main dishes we got the pork chops, pho, vermicelli bowl, octopus fried rice and a pork bahn-mi with fries. All of it was great, the serving for the vermicelli and pho were generous. The octopus fried rice and pork chop dish were also a pretty generous serving and again nothing was overcooked. The bahn mi was great, the bread was toasty and yet soft, buttery but not oily or greasy. The pork was tender the veggies weren't overly wet or pungent...just perfect. The fries were seasoned well and the sauce that was saved from the edamame went perfect with them. You can dip anything in that spicy edamame sauce it's that tasty. And then of course the owner I think, came out with a dessert (plaited really nicely) that they were trying out. Well hopefully it makes it onto the menu...fucking phenomenal!!!! It was a chocolate dome with a tasty and not overly rich mousse that had some raspberry jam and around it was sprinkled some decedent chocolate crumble. GO HERE, EAT HERE AND TELL PEOPLE ABOUT IT. This is the type of small business/restaurant that should get rewarded with our patronage. So keep this place alive. Will be returning over and over again. read more

Then people came in and they were served very quick ordering on the spot but yeah, I called in 20 minutes early and my order took an extra 30 minutes. You guys have the worst experience of giving good customer service you need to fire your cooks because they take too long. I will never come to Saigon ever again. read more

Service was okay, not overly friendly but greeted you with a smile but that went away quickly. Waitress spoke English but didn't know how to describe a dish when asked about flavor or overall taste. Had to flag down a waiter for a drink and or utensils. Ambiance looked somewhat clean you could see some dark spots on the floor nothing to crazy but going into the restroom smelled really bad, and felt as if a heater was on. They had a ton of sticky note by there boba station. All over the wall, floor and ordering station thought it looked very messy. Took away from the natural decor they had up. Pretty mixed thoughts from me on Saigon District. For the good, I really like their menu. They have the traditional viet classics like pho and rice plates but also have more special/modern dishes. I was able to order a bit of everything and really liked the lemongrass beef spring roll. It came with a delicious house fish sauce that I liked more than traditional fish sauce. I also liked the signature grilled pork chop, a classic staple that they cooked really well. At $17 you get a ton of meat and can easily share this between two people. It's also a pretty big restaurant, good for large parties. For the bad, the service was trash. I was sat and waited maybe 10 minutes to finally have a server acknowledge me to take my order. Service was non-existent the entire meal with me having to wave them down for water. I also had the pho and it was ridiculously sweet, maybe one of the sweetest bowls I've ever had. I would not recommend their pho at all. Overall, I'll likely be back because their food seems to be really good, but I personally had a few negative points during my meal. read more

Great attention to detail here! The entrees, appetizers, and specialty drinks are creative and delicious Also, the owner makes great efforts to create a positive and cozy vibe. I've had the Shrimp Pad Thai, the Specialty Vermicelli, the Garlic Steak Fried Rice, and the new Curry Steamed Muscles. All have been marvelous and left me thinking about the experience afterward. Food was amazing, and the drinks are delicious. It was fairly empty inside but I've been here before and it was amazing then, and still is now. I had the mango passion slushie and it was so sweet and refreshing. We ordered the calamari for appetizer and it was SOOO good, the batter had great flavor and the calamari itself was tender. For my main I chose the filet mignon pho, and the broth was incredibly flavorful and rich. Everything was amazing, the owner took time to talk to us and share her story with the restaurant.
