This place was awesome. I've always like Viet food, but this place has a bit more because they come off super friendly to someone who isn't Viet. The food is both traditional Viet, which is very on point, but also offers more to those who are maybe trying Vietnamese food for the first time. They also have a bar that serves both beer and wine, with domestic and imported on hand. I had both the spring rolls for an appetizer, and the grilled shrimp, grilled pork one rice which was excellent. The food and service is superb! We eat in Little Siagon frequently and this place beats all. The broth for the Pho is so much better than most we have ever had. The shrimp tender and tasty and the shaken beef is the most tender I've had. I won't even talk about the Pad Thai go yourself and see how good a VN cook does it! read more

Was in the area and wanted to try authentic Vietnamese food. This place caught my eye and as soon as I walked in was greeted by 2 wonderful servers and seated right away. The aura of the restaurant is very relaxing and calming, which I needed considering I just finished a long bike ride along the beach. As for the food (ordered #24 and fried calamari), everything was simply amazing. The broth was so delicious--you can definitely tell they broiled the bone to perfection into the broth. The calamari was so unique and amazing, a classic with a twist of Vietnamese. The sweet and sour sauce was a nice touch to the dish. Overall the servings were a good portion (you can also ask them to lessen or add) and filled me up! Thank you for the amazing service and amazing food experience! How do you mess up pho? Well they knew how to. The pho with filet had SUCH greasy broth, you could see the fat boiling to the top. Also this was the first time I didn't finish my bowl of pho. Trust me, not worth it to come here for a good bowl of pho. read more

Wow! Couldn't decide what we wanted to eat and came across this place on Yelp. We were not disappointed! The food was excellent. I had the vegetarian soup with vegetables and my dude had pho. We shared an order of plain garlic fried rice. The man and woman who waited on us were so sweet and personable. I'm assuming they were the owners. The menu is quite extensive; appetizers, fried rice, pho, noddle dishes, skewers, a vegetarian section, even burgers!! They do happy hour everyday so our bottled beers were only $2.75 each. Came here for dinner and had the garlic pasta shrimp dish along with I believe a green tea flavored creme brulee and washed it all down with a four sons "The Great One" double ipa. I stopped by here on the way to the beach the other day with a couple of my girlfriends and we tried the pad Thai,Singapore noodles, fusion wings, tacos, & pho. We even had room for creme brûlée and churro ice cream! Everything was so on point I'd definitely come back again to try other items. It's a def must try. Great place for family and friends gathering to enjoy or celebrate special occasions. The food is taste enough for me to come back for more and more. The Ph is so delicious that makes me want to get the second bowl even though I can't handle it. So happy I yelped and found Saigon District! Just down the street from me and not hidden way in the plaza, so easy to spot as you drive by. There isn't too many good Vietnamese spots at the HB/Costa Mesa line and I really craving Garlic Noodles w/ shrimp tonight but....hate having to go to Bolsa or Westminster just for Vietnamese food. The garlic noodles were delicious!!! And hit the spot for me, nice that they give you different noodle options. Portion sizes were big (at least for me so I had leftovers), my boyfriend ordered the Vermicelli w/ grilled pork and egg roll, he finished everything. Staff was friendly and nice, restaurant was big and spacious, lots of table seating as well as bat seating. Placed my to go ordered and it came out quickly. I work right next door and honestly I was soo happy that this place opened up...I love Pho and I'm really picky where I get it from as well but this place is really good. The awesome thing about it is that the service is great, the food is served right away and hot and delicious and mmmm I love pho lol their egg rolls are delicious as well, super crispy, pork fried rice *mouthwatering*...I don't know if it's the owner who is there but whoever it is, she's sooo sweet and she's so helpful! I go in for lunch and I only have 30 min so I order ahead of time and when I get there she's got all my stuff set up along with my glass of Thai tea and my egg rolls (I always forget to order the Thai but she knows I love it and has it ready). Personally I love this place and the atmosphere is relaxed and calm, the place is clean and the people are polite and sweet...must visit if you're on a date night or if you just wanna have some delicious hot pho, it's really a good place. Rude rude and double rude.....ordered two noodle dishes and a sandwich, it took over 45 minutes with no interaction glasses were empty and the two servers would not look us in the eye even trying to get their attention. The female server was an absolute you know what the Male server was friendly but between the to of them they couldn't give quality service to six tables. This was our second visit figured we would give it a second chance....food is ok the wife ordered the same dish and different both times, tonight the shrimp was burned with an awful bitter taste. We finished dinner and sat for another 30 minutes until we were even acknowledged to get our bill, got our bill and there was an additional dinner plate added to it. I came here last night for dinner with a couple of buddies. The place is really nice inside, clean and the staff and our server in particular was very friendly and accommodating. The problem for me was the food.. I got the garlic noodles with shrimp. The noodles were just okay. The shrimp was way overcooked and stringy. My friends got the egg rolls which where deep fried and just not impressive. I think I was looking for real Vietnamese egg rolls. Theses were not them. They also got a sample type platter, with rice and meat. which neither was impressed by. Very good service, but I definitely wont be back.. Not yummy read more

I took my girlfriend here on Sunday afternoon and we were very impressed by the service, quality of food and portion sizes. I ordered garlic noodles with chicken and a Thai iced tea. Both were delicious and the plate was perfect size so that I could finish it all and be perfectly full. She ordered chicken pho and substituted the rice noodles for egg noodles. She loved it and she is very picky about pho. I'd definitely eat here again read more

I love down the street so I decided to give this place a try. It was actually pretty good, I always go to Bolsa for authentic Vietnamese food but now I can just come back here everytime I'm craving. The service is really good and the owners seems really sweet. I would definitely recommend all my friends to come here and try the food.
