The manager came over and apologized and offered to remake the food, but at that point my kids were hungry, upset, and honestly I was too. I just wanted to leave. I asked if they could comp the meal because this was entirely due to their mistake. The manager then said we should still pay 50% of the bill, which was honestly shocking. Paying half for food we barely ate because it was taken by mistake felt completely unreasonable. After I pushed back, they did end up comping the meal. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What made this experience especially disappointing was the manager's lack of empathy and apology--especially as a mom trying to manage dinner with little kids. It turned what started as a pleasant dinner into a very stressful and upsetting experience.

This place is super super yummy if you're looking for some light and refreshing food! They serve salad, soup, smoothies, and other healthy goodness. I enjoy the food, for the most part. Which is why I gave them a 4/5 star rating. Overall, like I said, the food is good. However, this facility can become a little busier meaning that they rush through everyone's orders I feel. Today specifically when I got there and ordered my food, the person over the head piece seemed to be very frantic with my order and kept using the cut off line "And is that it?" Before I even finished what I was saying which perosnally I find rude. After I ordered my food, it was only a 5 minute wait which was not the issue. The issue that I had was that the salad I had got (Asian) looked old, floppy, mushy, and not appetizing. I didn't even check my salad before i pulled out which I know not to do again. It's definitely worth it but at the same time I would suggest not going during a busy lunch hour because chances of receiving low quality food for the price you pay is likely. Could have used less attitude this morning. You forgot my salsa. I get it, things happen. I turned around to get it. That obviously upset the staff, super sorry about that, even though that's your job. You also forgot the extra ranch I paid for, I loved the rolling of the eyes and the huffing and puffing you gave me. LOVED IT! Poor guy next to me who just wanted a straw got even more attitude. Even more frustrating, the Veggie Sub is only 25 cents cheaper than several large subs with meat, including the Spicy Cajun Chicken, Jamaican Jerk Turkey, and Hook & Ladder. How does that make sense? This is a sandwich with vegetables, cheese, and condiments. You are already using those same vegetables on other subs. So are we really saying the actual meat protein on those other sandwiches is only worth 25 cents more? Because that is what the pricing suggests. As a vegetarian customer, this feels wildly out of touch. I do not mind paying for good food, but charging almost the same price for a veggie sandwich as a meat-loaded sub feels like price gouging. The staff was friendly, the store was clean, and the sandwich tasted good. That earns 2 stars. But the pricing on the Veggie Sub is completely unreasonable, and that is why I am taking off the other 3.
