I ordered the fiesta burrito and for the price the the size was great and the ingredients seemed quite good. Unfortunately, there was just quite a lack of flavor. Typically when I get a breakfast burrito it can be good with or without the salsa. This one definitely needed the salsa to give it a little bit more flavor. The salads are very good and the price can't be beat. Their cold brew is so inconsistent though. I order the same thing every time, cold brew with oat milk and sugar free vanilla. The food tasted good, but got terrible stomach cramps etc afterwards. The app allows you to mention food allergies including celiac/gluten intolerance. I have celiac so not sure if care was taken for cross contamination. This is a drive thru only place and the park and walk up window was so crowded from the drive thru traffic it was difficult to back out afterwards. The line of cars for drive thru service ran into the main intersection and is dangerous to navigate. I will give them another try because the food was tasty for a drive thru salad. read more

Very disappointed that the lady at the walk up window refused to sell me a drink just because I didn't order online. She didn't have cash when I told her I'm paying with a card she said she couldn't. I like breakfast burrito size. I'm disappointed they charge you .54 cents for more salsa. The salsa they give you is too little for the breakfast burrito. Also hard to get out of sometimes due to speedway traffic, and small turn in off craycroft. That gas or water line placement off craycroft, matter of time before some probably hits it. read more

First time visiting a Salad and Go, and opted for a burrito in a bowl. I had the Southwest for which the description is "Eggs, Housemade Turkey Sausage, Pepper Jack Cheese, Roasted Poblano Peppers, with Housemade Salsa on the side". The portion in the bowl was definitely much smaller than a breakfast burrito at any other place I've ever eaten at. I'm not complaining at all....the portion fit the price, and it was definitely enough for me. I'm sort of curious though as at least one other review here calls out the amounts of food as being enough for two people, so I was just surprised at the small portion. I was also surprised that the roasted poblano peppers which were right on top of the sausage and eggs were cold....like from the refrigerator cold. Surely that's not how they are supposed to be? I picked them off and warmed them, then added them back in. Sadly, I had no salsa in my bag, and no salsa at home to add. Perhaps the refrigerated peppers and missing salsa are just 'blip' and due to new employees. It wasn't the end of the world, just hope next time it's better. The taste of the burrito was perfectly spicy and something I'd definitely order again if the peppers are hot. So, 4-stars for really friendly and fast service and good food. I'm hoping to give them 5-stars on my next visit for great food. That said, not included in this review is the parking lot situation. I pulled in from Speedway, and then exited onto Speedway. I waited F O R E V E R until some kind soul in traffic on Speedway had mercy on me and stopped to let me exit. I needed to go south on Craycroft, and there was no way to get into the turn lane to head south because of traffic. I had to just head west on Speedway, eventually get over into a turn lane, and make a U-turn to head back to Craycroft. It just makes me wonder about the positioning of the building and the design of the parking lot. I'll take a closer look the next time I'm there. Maybe there's an easier way to exit that I just didn't see because I was not really focused or looking at all the possible exits. But.....typically exits just a few car lengths away from a traffic light are not a good idea, and with an intersection as busy as Speedway/Craycroft is, it seems illogical to have an exit there. read more

Price is good and the salad was good. Dressing not so much, was hoping for more of a homemade approach for the dressing instead of the pre-packaged soybean oil-based stuff. The one reason I won't go there if I am eating in the car is that the container is so small for the portion that it all comes flying out all over the car. Salad and Go, consider using the Kardashian size to go bowls. The bowls are round with a flat lid so you can put the dressing on and shake the bowl, take the lid off and nothing falls out of the bowl. Just my two cents. LOL read more

I have gone to this place twice. the food is great and is reasonable. I get two meals out of the salad. I get the cob salad. My daughter and granddaughter got the brussels sprout salad and son in law got the BBQue chicken salad. We all had a great meal. I loved the food, the quantity and the price. This was the first time I have been to a Salad and Go. I ordered a Cobb Salad using the Salad and Go app downloaded to my cellphone. Orders placed by app are to be picked up at a walk-up window where you ring the buzzer to inform employees there's a customer at the window for a pickup. It was extremely busy at noon hour which delayed the order by about 20 minutes. Regardless of the delay, I was delighted by the salad and am anxious to go back to either repeat the Cobb Salad or try the other options! I'm impressed! read more

I was concerned trying this as I have heard mixed reviews. I got a wrap and my fiancé got a salad and we shared a strawberry lemonade and the total was $14. My wrap was one of my favorite things I have eaten in awhile. It was absolutely delicious and my fiancé loved her salad and the lemonade was great. 10/10 if you are on the fence about it just go try it! It was awesome! You get great food for a super cheap price for what you get! The ingredients tasted super fresh and it was a great price for the amount of food that we got. Was so excited about this place, and I normally wouldn't leave a customer-service type review in the first week of a location opening because we all know there are bugs to shake out, but the problems I had this morning seem structural so ‍ Rolled up on my bike commute, which is how I get to work every single day of the year, and couldn't order at the drive through because the friendly servers cited safety concerns for cyclists. Ok, great! (I'm also in a public facing job; safety first!) The real problems started when I was then told that I (person standing right there) could only order online or through the app. Online couldn't find the location and the app offered me a first available pickup time 15 minutes out--at which point, having an actual job to get to, I noped out. Really sad I can't get food here in the normal course of my working day. Would have loved a salad option on my way in in the mornings, but I'm just not going to jump through all these hoops for one. read more

Today was my first time trying Salad and Go and it was a great experience all around. First off, the service was quick and kind, the price was awesome; I can't remember the last time I was able to get a meal and drinks for less than $10! I got the jalapeño ranch salad with chicken and it was sooooo good! The best part is that the salad had so many toppings and was very filling; would HIGHLY recommend! The quality of the ingredients was also great, nothing was wilted or mushy and the pickled red onions *chefs kiss*. But it was 8:00am when I stopped by, so I ate something I never eat anymore - a breakfast burrito, and I have to say it was amazing. I haven't had one in forever at any of the "standard" restaurants in Tucson because they're always extra greasy and I never feel awesome after eating them. I ordered the Traditional this morning and I ate it so fast, I didn't think to stop and take a picture to share. Not greasy, well-portioned ingredients (the bacon is amazing), and so so so good!!! Absolute trash. The wraps are horrible. They're not even wrapped, they take a salad that's not mixed, throw it on a soft tortilla and crunch it into a foil sheet. I thought maybe they were having a bad day but multiple people at my work said that's how they always are. As soon as I opened it it's completely fell apart and you couldn't even eat it as a "salad" everything was such a mess. Just to add the cherry on top they messed up my order. We have eaten here probably 6 times and we have never been disappointed. My favorite salads are the Greek and the BBQ ranch, and the dressing on BBQ ranch has some zip to it which I like. The salads are big enough that you can split them into two meals. We were going to try the broccoli cheddar soup last night but they were all out. Love the concept but the design of the parking lot is a nightmare. I'm lucky that I can go by there early in the morning when it's not crowded. Sorry, but I won't even consider going around lunch or dinner time. I've tried most of their burritos and salads because they do have quick service when not busy. The burritos are extremely bland and while helped with the salsa, even that doesn't have much taste. Salads are not bad - but not great. Their croutons are also pretty tasteless. Take the advice on the top of the salad container and add your dressing then shake up. I'd prefer to pay a little more and get better tasting more flavorful ingredients. read more
