I always love salt and straw! Their ice cream flavors are so different from a regular ice cream shop. So delicious!

The flavors are really creative. The quality of the ice cream is very soft, especially for a normal scooped, ice cream. My favorite flavors were snickerdoodle which was so good. Oh and the zucchini bread chocolate chip. That was a one of a kind flavor that I loved. read more

Unusual flavors some of em not for me. But one I liked where really good ice cream is real good creamy like lot of butter fat in it been twice will go back often. I am so happy we have a Salt and Straw in AZ now! I traveled an hour across the valley to eat their ice cream and I would do it again. The staff was so friendly at this location and of course the ice cream was top notch! I got the cinnamon snickerdoodle and it was great! We almost skipped it on our date night...but when we pulled up and noticed the long line we figured it was worth the wait. It did not disappoint! Not only were they staffed well so that we didn't have to wait long...but it was delicious Unique flavors and a good portion serving...I'm hooked! Stopped in to try out their Thanksgiving flavor series and as always, was so impressed with the efficiency and friendliness of the staff. The line moves quickly and you are able to sample multiple flavors (and the washable, reusable metal spoons are a nice touch for sustainability). I had the Parker house rolls flavor and sweet potato flavor - both were excellent. I sampled the stuffing flavor and while it wasn't my favorite, I love the creativity of the flavors and that it's not just pumpkin spice everything for Fall. The scoops are also generous sizes. I visited this place in Oregon a long time ago, and it's still just as great as I remember! It was difficult to choose a flavor because they all sounded delicious. I eventually went with the salted caramel and strawberry tres leches. The service was amazing as well; the girl who assisted me was very patient and friendly. This was a really different ice cream shop. Definitely popular for Gen Z'rs. Lots of interesting flavors! I prefer sweet ice cream, Baskin Robbin type. Probably due to my age. LOL! The service here can't be beat! We went when they opened and they allow you to try all sorts of flavors with real spoons. That was really cool! However, I know they have looooonnng lines due to their popularity and I asked the server if they do this with everyone and she said, yes. She explained that they value customer service. I was impressed that she was very knowledgeable about the ice cream flavors and the company. The store was really neat and clean inside. I've been waiting for this to open for forever and I was not disappointed by our experience today. My favs are the Olive Oil, Honey Lavender, and the Strawberry Balsamic with Black Pepper. This cute lil place is busy! They specialize in unique ice cream flavors, such as pear with blue cheese and strawberry honey balsamic with black pepper. I tried their honey lavender flavor, which is divine! I settled on the sea salt with caramel ribbons. It is the PERFECT blend of sweet and salty all rolled into a delicious scoop of ice cream! My wife and I have tried to stop by a few times but each time the line 75 to 100 people long, now we know why. This place is incredible. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They offer every customer multiple samples before ordering. I had the Sea salt with Caramel ribbons in a waffle cone and my wife tried one of their dairy free options, Peanut Butter Brittle Caramel Fudge in a sugar cone. We went during the afternoon on a Sunday. The line was short but it did take forever with all the taste testing of those in front of us. Unnecessarily long. Also, those puny little cups can't even hold a scoop. Getting ice cream in a cup shouldn't be a mess. GET BIGGER CUPS! Really it was quite meh, skip this place and go to 212 Ice Cream or Handel's.
