    Peak Saltgrass per usual. Food came out so fast and was sooo warm. Service was great! Place was clean. We didn't have any wait even though we arrived at 7 without a reservation. They're so efficient! They were always checking up on us (maybe even too much haha) I would definitely recommend this Saltgrass to anyone in the area. Best steak!

    To go ordering needs to improve. I called and was on hold for 9 minutes and so then I decided to call from my second phone while still holding and they took my order after a one minute hold from my second phone - all while still on hold for over 10 minutes on the first phone. This location needs to do better with "first come, first serve" on to-go calls and coordinate a queue because it isn't fair for those that called first but have to wait longer for whatever reason. This should be standard practice.

    Prices have gone up, portions have gotten smaller and so has the menu. The service was good and the place was clean, it's just not the restaurant it used to be.

    Came here for restaurant week for appetizer, soup/salad, meal and dessert for $39 which a steal! I ordered the fried mushroom for dessert and it was very fresh and the batter was light. Next, I had the cup of potato soup and it was pretty good, exactly what you would expect from a potato soup. Then, I ordered the smothered ribeye (Medium rare) and the chef did phenomenal with the temperature. The seasoning was top notch, not too overbearing and they made sure the mushroom ratio was enough. I took home my carrot cake cause it was definitely a lot of food along with the shiner bock bread and butter they provide. I ordered a roasted pineapple drink and it was 10/10!! Strong and sweet, definitely hit the spot! We came in around 7pm on a Saturday night and opted to sit by the bar. It was a quiet Saturday night oddly but it was nice to be out and about without too many sounds going on. The bartender was friendly and he did a good job making the drinks. Please be mindful of asking if you want the bone in or regular for the ribeye - there was a confusion if it was additional or not but the servers made it seem to be "it's a new menu" so we don't know". As a server myself in other establishments, it's their duty to double down to guest to ensure all prices and quality are done correctly. Other than that, this location was solid.

    Always enjoy this location. Staff is nice, fast and food is always great. If my Steak is not cooked right they always fix it fast.

I went in there only looking for ribs because I have found that a really good rib is hard to find, however, the ribs here were very tasty, a little pricey, but very good. I always say that I don't mind paying extra when the food is as good as the money spent for it. Now, let me tell you that I only purchased a pound of ribs and a quart of Mac and cheese and the M&C was also good. I believe that the young man helping behind the counter was the owner's son so that tells me that the business is family owned, can't go wrong with that. The other sides looked delicious as well but I was not really that hungry for other dishes. I will go back and try the other items on the menu at another time. Now that I know where it is, it will be easy peasy to get there again. Once again, I forgot to take a picture of the food but I will when I go back. Anyway, pull up on em at Luka's Barbecue & Steak and enjoy!

Amanda made a great traditional margarita for my mom (sweet price at $10). Wine by glass and bottles are priced well. Dessert was interesting; we ordered the smoked bread pudding. It usually sells out quickly, so glad we got to try it. They have an enormous salad bar with every fixing you could think of. Now that I've gone so many times, I actually skip the salad bar and go straight meat! My favorites are : bottom sirloin (always tender, juicy, a little salty and oh so goood). Rib eye cap was amazingly good, and Picanha . Others that hit the spot are the bacon wrapped filet minion , beef ribs and the shrimp. That cheese with honey glaze is amazing! Keep in mind, dinner during the holidays was about $65 per person. The sides are okay. I mostly go to the cheesy bread (yes it's fresh, cheesy and good) and the fried banana (not too sweet just enough). They do have desserts but I don't remember any enough to provide. By this point, I've eaten so much meat (and food) I never have room for dessert :) I do see a few people order coffee after their meal for a pick er upper! The drinks are good here. There were about 35 people on a Sunday evening. We were able to reserve a room in the back, which they set up in a U formation. Our reservation was at 7:30pm but when we arrived a little after 7:15pm, it was already set up and we were seated immediately with part of the group. This wasn't my first Brazilian Churrascaría rodeo so I came hungry! They have a wonderful buffet, with salad, grilled veggies, soup (lobster bisque was on point!), cured meats and cheeses. The sides of cheese bread, plantains, potatoes and rice were awesome (filler food that is worth eating!!) We got the signature menu and soon after we had our drinks and salad bar items, the stars of the show started coming. Not gonna lie, I strategically had the best seat in our group and was often offered the amazing meats first. (Muahaha! ) The picanha was delicious! The sirloin was amazing! The beef rib was to die for! This was pretty much true of EVERY offering. The servers were so quick and attentive and generous. At other churrascarías, the most delicious cuts are offered maybe twice if you are there long enough (which is at least 30m) to be offered a second helping. Here, the variety and speed of the offerings made you feel like royalty. I had the Brazilian limeade and that and my water rarely were below halfway consumed before a server filled it to the top. It was a very good drink. Perfect blend of sweet and sour. Any sides or meats requested all came out super quickly. The staff and the chefs are on their game and then some!!! Honestly, this was one of the best dining experiences I've had, despite having a crazy large party. It felt like they were all there just for us, even though they were other diners I definitely let them know how great the service and food were because my gosh, did they deliver!

The whiskey cake itself was very good, though I recommend only one plate for a group of 6 or less because of how rich it is, especially if you get the ice cream addition. Overall a very surprising experience, and while it carries a heavy price tag, it is absolutely a good choice if you're looking for a nicer meal out here.
