I ordered my hash brown's extra crispy and the when they were delivered the waitress said something like is that crispy enough? They were just regular, still cold and raw in the middle. I drive by this place so many times, but I always was afraid to eat there cause I knew it was gonna be heavy or at least I was going to feel bad after eating it there!! However, my husband and I finally gave in and decided to have a little brunch together the other day; and we are very glad we did!! A friend and I have been doing a breakfast tour of fresno and the junction was among the first places we decided to try. I'm so glad we did because it was exceptional! No regrets coming here at all. The parking lot is shared but there are enough spaces. I was greeted, seated and served coffee right away. The service was excellent. Servers go out of their way to accommodate the customers. I ordered the 10oz steak and eggs. It comes with either hashbrowns or country potatoes, biscuits and gravy or toast. I asked to get strawberry shortcake biscuits instead of biscuits and gravy. That was a big time win!!! If I dare complain about anything it would be the country potatoes, which, were bland and soggy instead of crispy. But I wasn't too worried about them. The biscuits stole the show!! My friend got the corned beef hash and said it was just as amazing as everyone said it was. Please give this place a try. Good food and good prices. And it's a week later. Decided since I was already in Clovis, I'd see what lunch was like these days. Arrived one hour before closing, so I thought. I was greeted and seated right away, just like before. Today it's all girls here (except for the two guys cooking). I got a menu and my drink order right away. The grilled ham and cheese sounded good...if I could get it on sourdough with Jack cheese. My server who was back for my order after just a couple minutes said yes. She asked if I wanted ranch for my fries. I said yes...I wanted to see if they had the good ranch or the vinegar-y kind. My food came out rocket fast. While I was eating, a gentleman came in and was told they were closed. Oops! Yelp had 2PM and the people at the next table said Google had 2PM, too. Back to lunch...my sandwich was really good. Fries were the straight cut kind, with a bit too much season salt on them. The ranch dressing was the good kind, yay. My food was served hot. My server was very nice. I have been coming to Sandy's Country Junction since my co-workers in 2014 introduced it to me, this was definitely our girl time spot before I went off to LA. When we got here it was a little packed and the ex and I decided to wait outside so our name could be called. While we were waiting this Africa American due was asking donations for his church which you can clearly tell the money was not for church. My ex and I were literally sitting on the outside patio at Sandy's when he approached us. This dude came over to us inside the patio area. He extended his hand to my ex who was sick and my ex told him "I'm good" for the handshake due to not wanting to share germs. We literally got cussed out and this dude was insane, we just wanted to enjoy our brunch and did not ask for that. However, besides that incident, I love this place because it is a traditional American diner brunch place and the cooks are Hispanic. Once I saw that I already knew the food was going to be bomb. The recent time I came here with my partner at the time. We enjoyed out meal very much and loved how they had advertisements on the tables and recommend my ex who was starting his business in Fresno to be creative and put his business on there since they were looking for new businesses. Been wanting to try this place out with my husband and I got to say that it's pretty good! Did not expect a big breakfast plate. Also, I did not expect such chunky sausage links! I've been to other breakfast spots and they always serve you the regular, skinny sausage links so this was definitely something new for me (in a good way). I ordered 2 pancakes, bacon, sausage, & scrambled eggs. The bacon tasted like any average bacon. The sausage was pretty decent, better than your typical. The pancakes were not bad. I enjoyed them but they tasted more like a pancake mix. Who knows, maybe they make them from scratch. The eggs were fine. My husband order chicken fried steak with potatoes, I ordered biscuits and gravy. My husband had never ordered this dish at any breakfast spot before but since it's so popular he decided to for for it. Well he was disappointed, he said it just tasted okay and not something he would order again. He had to add a good amount of salt to everything. I tasted his biscuits and gravy and they weren't anything special. They needed salt. Syrup was like any average bottled syrup. Overall it's not a bad spot. It's not somewhere we'd probably return either. If you're just in the mood for an average breakfast and don't want to go to Denny's or Ihop then I guess this would be the next choice up. read more

Called in the order to get to have it at home. The worker that took the order was very nice. Ordered the egg white wrap with pepper jack, ham and veggies. Also extra jalapeños. Also ordered a Belgium waffle with sugar free syrup. Great that they carry sugar free syrup. The worker was nice and the order was ready when my mother and I got there. Smooth process! The breakfast wrap was really delicious! From the ham and egg whites to the veggies and pepper jack cheese. That gave it a nice, spicy kick! Relatively healthy too! Well I had super high hopes after seeing pictures, but the food was absolutely terrible. The chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken were inedible. The CFS was tough and definitely frozen out of a bag. Denny's is good by comparison if that gives you any idea. The "Best biscuits and gravy" must not have had any other entries in that category, because they were awful as well. Sad, because I was craving some good comfort food. read more

Went Sunday morning and surprisingly wasn't that busy. We got seated on the patio and our drink order was taken immediately. After we got our drinks no one ever came back to take our order. We waited 20 minutes before going inside to ask for service because we did not see a server outside at all. After waiting again we still received no service so we went inside to pay for our drinks so we could just leave. We spoke to the manager, who was standing behind the counter with 3 other employees all just laughing and talking, but he did not seem to care at all about the lack of service. I have been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years but due to the lack of care for the customer and lack of service we will not be returning. read more

Sad to say I was disappointed in today's breakfast. Four years ago, when I previously ate breakfast here, the pancakes were soft and fresh. Today's version had to have been out of a bag previously frozen. They were too uniform in size and color, and very tough. I ordered a 3 egg omelette (regular breakfast) and my husband ordered the senior omelette breakfast. They came out on smaller platters, IDENTICAL in size. When I mentioned this to my server he insisted mine was a 3 egg. $4 more isn't going to break the bank, but it's the principle. There are too many other great breakfast restaurants in this area for me to ever consider a return here. read more

This place definitely has the classic diner feel with all the classic breakfast/brunch foods! I came here with a party of 7 around 1pm and there was plenty of space for us; we were seated straight away. The service was extraordinary! Our table was immediately attended to, and the waitress was soooo sweet and handled all of our questions/special requests so well! Absolutely loved her! I ordered the senior breakfast: eggs Florentine. Senior breakfast usually just means you get half of the normal sized entree. So my eggs Florentine (an eggs Benedict with spinach and tomato) only had one portion (rather than two in the normal order). But the senior breakfast is way cheaper and also comes with a choice of country potatoes or hash browns AND biscuits and gravy or toast and jelly. I ordered it with the country potatoes (sooo delicious, and cooked perfectly) and the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits and gravy came with two biscuits that got pretty soft and soggy and a LOAD of gravy on top, but I thought the gravy lacked a bit of flavor. In terms of the egg Florentine, I was disappointed because the poached egg was not runny which is usually my favorite part about an eggs Benedict. read more
