    6 veggie dumplings ($15)
    Stacy A.

I've been meaning to try this place for so long and was excited to see that they now have a booth at Malcom Yards! Sadly, I was disappointed with the limited menu available at this location and quite frankly the not very flavorful dumplings. I was hoping to see some wraps and something unique but this location only had about 3 things on the menu. I went with the veggie dumplings which was $15. I was disappointed when I picked up my order - 6 tiny little dumplings and a sauce. The online menu says that dumplings come with Chinese mustard slaw and pickled red onions but I didn't receive either. The flavor was mediocre. The inside was a mushy consistency without any flavor. Super over priced as well - $15 for 6 dumplings the size of a quarter.

I had the special dumplings of the month, pork and dill. They were incredible, in-credible. I didn't know if I'd like all the accompaniments like the slaw, black sesame vinegar and pickles, but they were so good too! Trust the chefs here they know what they're doing! Cute space and patio too. I recommend ordering ahead if you're able/in a rush at all! There was surprisingly plenty of street parking at lunch time on a Wednesday. It was just shy of $20 for an 8 dumpling meal. I am sure the price is justified in the quality and flavors! That's the only star I'll take off though, because I was left wanting moreeee (overall, a good thing haha). A must visit! Their specials are also always changing and always enticing, even the non-dumplings!

The crispy chicken Caesar salad sandwich is out of this world yummy! Very enjoyable!

After seeing this place all over my tiktok, I knew we had to come try it!! This place was very good!! Definitely worth stoping in! There is paid parking outside but we found a spot fairly quickly. Inside you order on a tablet. They do have water that is free, otherwise it is cans for soda. The food came fairly quickly! The service we had was so fast, I can't even tell you if people here are friendly haha! They dropped our food off and were gone again! But we loved the fast service! The pizza dumplings were good, not great. They tasted like a fancier pizza roll. The sauce it came with was good though! The buffalo scallion pancake wrap was VERY good! The heat was there but still doable for this Minnesotan! The star of the show was the chicken Caesar salad sandwich. It was so tasty! The bread does kind of fall apart but who cares!? It was delicious!! Get a side of the sauce to dip it! We will be keeping our eye on this place for more collabs and delicious items!!

This is likely an unpopular opinion, but felt Saturday Dumpling was just ok. The pork and cabbage dumplings lacked flavor, however they are packed with filling which is awesome! The chicken Caesar sandwich again was good but didn't quite get the hype. That said, the chicken is cooked perfectly. Nice and crunchy. The pork rice bowl was the most flavorful of the items we ordered. The place is cute with a sweet alley type patio. This is a perfect lunch spot and there is parking behind the building in a ramp with designated parking. I know this is the age we live in but ordering at a kiosk doesn't create a great first impression. Delivery of food was quick.

Food: despite the name, there are more than dumplings! They have burritos, rice bowls, and veggie/vegan options. There are many sauce options to complement whatever you choose. As taboo and contrarian as this may seem, I wasn't a fan of the dumplings and the chicken bowl was underwhelming. There was a sauce I couldn't pinpoint in the bowl (I think it was supposed to be a green onion mix but it looked like mojo?) and the slaw mix tasted heavily of wasabi. Service: there is counter service, then you seat and clean up after yourself. Service was friendly and efficient. Ambiance: the vibe is inviting--modern, open concept, pink design, and natural light coming from its prime location on the corner of the block. Overall, I get the hype because it's a beautiful spot but the food is not up to par IMHO.

Finally made it for my first visit and the service was quick and easy, staff was friendly and the food was amazing! I came this evening for the Szechuan Chicken Caesar Sandwich because I heard it was the best and everyone was not wrong! This sandwich had great taste and the chicken was perfection! I could have easily shared since the sandwich was very filling. I can't wait to come back and try more menu options. The space was so clean and cute and felt super cozy right in the heart of NE Minneapolis. Can't recommend this space any more! Def make a trip here ASAP!!

Great food for what it is- fast casual. This isn't a cheap meal, especially considering you order yourself (on a computer), take a plastic number, and then get your order, and you self-bus. The tables and chairs give Chipotle-level vibes so it's not a comfortable place that encourages you to linger. BUT the decor is cute and funky, and the food was great. Surprised myself by not ordering dumplings. The chicken caesar sandwich was just as good as everyone says- the warm, fresh-baked scallion foccacia was pillowy soft and the sesame crusted chicken was unexpectedly unique and delicious- a nice nuttiness. Added some hot chili oil on top and it was easy 10. The cumin fries were such a sleeper! I never would have ordered them but the other reviewers recommended them. Flavor profile was salty + sweet and a little smoky. They were hot and crisp. I couldn't stop eating them.

I knew that this place would be good from the menu and the pictures that I had seen but I have to be honest, I did not expect it to be this good! Got the chicken dumplings with a few of the sauces (garlic, sweet soy and an aioli) and lemme tell ya.. hit the spot. The dumplings were light, the chicken was well seasoned and had tons of flavor, the dumplings were super easy to eat and all in all just delicious. We also got the shredded pork bowl and O M G. The pork was tender, shredded, full of flavor, moist, and so delicious. The rice and the pickled veggies were also super lovely. For what we got, I think the prices were good, for 8 dumplings and the bowl it was $33 bucks which isn't bad at all. Nice sit down area, clean, right on Hennepin.. all in all, WILL BE BACK!

Quality fast-casual place with an interesting menu of rice bowls, sandwiches, and, of course, dumplings. I came in specifically to try the Szechuan Chicken Saesar Sandwich that has been getting a lot of buzz, and I liked it a lot. It has surprisingly-light fried chicken filets with lettuce and a very unique, citrus-y sauce. I would get that again for sure. But I love dumplings and I had to try some. I got a side of four pork dumplings and they tasted great. I ate them very quickly and was sad that they were gone. They have a selection of sauces but only one type comes with the order; others cost extra. They had six different sauces and I want to come back so I can try them all. The Garlic Chili Aioli was okay. The dumpling variety isn't that impressive. Only four types I think. The only ones with chicken are chicken-and-mushroom and that is a dealbreaker for me. But the pork ones I got were very nice. And the service was VERY fast and totally friendly. You order from a screen and take a number. I will definitely return and get that same order again, or maybe try the spicy variety of that chicken sandwich.

Got the red braised pulled pork burrito and the chicken and mushroom dumplings with a side of garlic chili aioli. I split them with my partner, and it was juicy and very filling!

You walk up and order on the iPad, get a number and they will take it to your table. Quick service, fresh delicious food and the vibe here is so cute! Check them out if you find yourself in NE Mpls and want a quick bite!

Great spot for a lunch bite! I really enjoyed all the things nearby to walk to like Moth Oddities and Olio were nearby to checkout! I loved all the pink decor, and the open windows. We were greeted right away, and I felt welcomed in. Would definitely stop back to try more flavors/the burritos as well!

Good place if you're wanting a quick bite with trendy atmosphere. But for me everything was just good but didn't pack enough flavor I was looking for. This seemed to cater more to the Western palette. Just a little dumpling to think about if you're wanting authentic.

Like picture the best server you could ever have, and that was Seth! Great recommendations, checked in on us throughout our time there but didn't linger, brought water right away! He was just an absolute delight! The food here was delicious!! We started with the butter board, that is a MUST! The butters were all flavorful! We only wish they had a little bit more bread! The lemongrass wings had EXCELLENT flavor, a spice that does linger (so if you don't do well with spice, there are not for you) they were a little soggy. Wish they had been crunchy! The steak bites were perfection! No notes! The chimichurri tasted so good with the char in the steak! The wild mushroom fettuccine is a must if you like homemade noodles with a fresh sauce! Comfort on a plate! Everything was so good, we decided to get the Affogodo and Chocolate moose cake! Both were terrific! The chocolate moose cake was moist and wasn't too rich, the toasted pistachios added and extra crunch that is not to be missed! The affododo was smooth, and paired so well with the vanilla ice cream! This place has a larger patio area that overlooks a brick street and Minneapolis skyline! Definitely could be a romantic spot for a date! This place was wonderful and we will happily be back!

Here's my review of the food we ordered: Cocktail of the hour - aka "Golden Hour" - 8.5/10 Reminded me of mulled cider, notes of honey, very refreshing Pork Belly Steam Buns - 8.1/10 Nice texture, very tender and flavorful Mini Banh Mi - 7/10 Not bad, would have preferred the more traditional pork filling Crispy Chicken- 8.7/10 This really surprised me, from appearance the chicken didn't look that special but it was well seasoned and the sweet chili glaze really stole the show and elevated this dish! Mirabelle Smash Burger - 8.9/10 I'm a sucker for smash burgers and this one did not disappoint. Nice crispy bun and a special mustard sauce that we enjoyed and a different flavor I don't usually have on my burger Sticky Ribs - 5/10 Unfortunately these were quite dry and was comparing to sticky ribs I had last week at CoV that were fall off the bone Overall good spot, service, atmosphere, and would be happy to return. Very close to the lake(walking distance) There is a free parking ramp right behind the building. The decor of this place is cute! The details seem like they were well thought out! It feels upscale and cozy! I saw a video of this place and that was what originally drew me in! The seating here is also comfortable and not over crowded. Our server was ok. I saw so many raves about the "amazing service." She did refill our water glasses, which was good because I needed it with the salty steak! Obviously the most important piece is the food. We started with the popovers. The taste was fine but the texture was almost over done. The honey butter was lacking honey flavor. Cinnamon would have really elevated the butter! I got the steak frites and my sister got the spaghetti. My fries were average. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium all the way through! I was impressed. However, it was drowning in a VERY salty sauce! I had push a lot of it off. This should be served on the side, not covering the whole steak. My sister got the spaghetti, which our waitress explained was not a regular spaghetti. I feel she has probably had to do that multiple times and honestly, it should just be renamed. It's confusing for the customer. My sister did say she enjoyed the dish and that the shrimp was ere done well. For dessert I got "Aunties iced latte" which is their version of like an espresso martini. It was just ok. Would not get again. We got the carrot cake which was good!! But then they ruined it by putting fake whipped cream.... This is supposed to be a higher end restaurant and that made the dessert feel so cheap. We also got the creme brûlée. DO NOT ORDER THAT! It is an absolute waste of money! The sugar top was so thick we couldn't eat it! The dessert had the consistency of scrambled eggs, not a smooth custard. The taste seemed ok, but whoever made this does not know what they are doing! Overall, the food was not memorable and a lot of it was done poorly. There are definitely better restaurants in the area.
