    Poblano crema soup

The food was amazing, and my server was attentive. I got the poblano crema soup, which was *chefs kiss*, and chicken flautas. I would definitely come back and get the exact same meal. Give it a try!

My wife and I came back, just by ourselves, for dinner. It was equally as good. I had the Enchiladas Al Sazon: Three enchiladas, stuffed with your choice of queso, brisket, or chicken, and smothered in your pick of salsa verde or roja. Topped with lettuce, tomatoes, crema, and queso fresco. Served with a side of rice and beans. I chose beef, cheese and chicken with verde sauce. It was delicious but I wish it was served hotter, temperature wise. I like my Mexican food served "too hot to eat" where it needs to cool a bit. She had the Cod Fillet Al Coco: Pan-fried cod fillet, breaded with coconut and maseca. Drizzled with mango chipotle sauce and smoky chipotle aioli. Served with garden vegetables and basmati rice. This was served at just the right temperature- HOT! And it was absolutely amazing. Service was good, the place is spotless clean, and did I mentions the chairs are comfortable? Not those trendy metal chairs like you would fine in your 8th grade wood shop back in the early 70's. I HATE those metal industrial chairs. So inconsiderate of the customers with such cheap furniture. Well, none of that here! Thank you Senior Loa for not using those.

Entrees are Chile Relleno stuffed with cheese, Chamorro Adobado and Quesabirra Tacos. Margaritas were superb & made with fresh lime juice.

Had to double back. This time I tried the steak tacos & guacamole. The meat was so flavorful.

The food and service were incredible. We loved the guacamole and also the fundido. Entrees are great sized. Definitely get more bang for your buck.

We decided to try this place at 6pm on Saturday 3/8/25 for a quick date night dinner. Everything was great. Good selection on the lunch/dinner menu. There's no drink menu, but they have a full bar. I got a Don Julio Blanco margarita and absolutely loved it. It didn't taste like a margarita full of syrupy sugar mix and acidic, but was extremely light and refreshing. Would definitely sip on a patio in good weather. My husband got Don Julio reposado on the rocks. We tried the choriqueso for an appetizer and were not disappointed. It was a good mix of cheeses, so it wasn't watery like at other places, and generous with the chorizo. For entrees, I ordered the enmoladas and he got the quesabirria. The mole in the enmoladas was a nice balance, not too rich and by the end left you with that delicious mole taste. The only thing I could recommend to them would be to have just a tiny bit thicker of a sauce. I also tried the quesabirria and it was perfect. Not too greasy but still fried and the dip was spot on! Overall I'm so happy there's such a close place with my favorite food and we will DEFINITELY be back!

Where is it? I could not find it even with Waze. I drove up & down renner.

It's on the east end of the strip center that sits behind Freddie's hamburgers. Not so easy to see from Renner Road. And for an easier reference, it's across Renner from Methodist Richardson Hospital. But not "on" Renner, rather just behinds… Read more

    Is there a happy hour?

I went the week of the soft opening so the menus were not complete. As of that time, I don't recall. Happy hour being mentioned.

Do they have a full bar?

    Yes ma’am, absolutely!

This was only our 2nd time here and I am not sure why... I have a feeling #3 wont be far behind…read more The food is fantastic. Period. I am not a big fish person and hubby loves something fried so a healthy fishy meal isn't our first go to, but we went outside our normal tonight. And we left so satisfied. For apps, the mac and cheese bites with crab. This should feel heavy but it doesn't. Moist and full of flavor. We did the crab fingers (special on the black board... pay attention to the specials they are fire). Tons of crab for the price and the chowder type sauce was so good. I just wish I had more bread to soak it up. Dinner was the tuna with mango sauce. I got mine rare and it was perfectly cooked. The filet was well seasoned and the sauce complimented it well. Large portion of tuna. He got the special (do not sleep on the black board) flounder stuffed with crab and shrimp. Absolutely amazing. I have never ever ordered flounder before but I guarantee ill order it if we return and its a special. Service was fast snd everyone was attentive. Cant wait until we go back.

This place has been highly recommended with rave reviews, but unfortunately, the food did not live…read moreup to the expectations. Our server was very attentive and welcoming! The menu pricing is fair given its seafood but not super affordable either. We started with the Oysters Rockefeller. The oysters were massive! However, I wasn't really a fan of the sauce, and especially not the lettuce. Because the dish was served hot, the lettuce was soggy and impacted both the texture and taste of the overall dish. The best thing, in my opinion, were the Mac and cheese crab cakes. A truly genius combination. Lastly, the fried catfish was just okay. It was kind of bland but not super crispy either. The portion is really big though. The fries on the side were soggy too and could have spent a couple more minutes in the frier.
