The Denver Omelette. Yum. And, hash browns.
    Joy B.

On a lazy Saturday morning we enjoyed a delightful breakfast from Scrambler Cafe. We ordered 2 kinds of pancakes: one had chocolate chips and fruit and the other was a serving of plain pancakes. They were both very good. I loved the one with fruit and chocolate. We also got a side of bacon. Yum. We also ordered two kinds of omelettes. We had the Denver omelette with ham, green peppers, inion, and cheese. Boy, that was delicious. Then, we also ordered the Bacado omelette that included bacon, tomato, avocado, and cheese. That was very good too. I thought the name was really clever. The omelettes came with hash browns that were really tasty. And, we got toast for our breakfasts as well. Service was great! Our order was ready for pick up when we arrived. I thought the restaurant was clean, bright, colorful, and easy to maneuver. I would definitely go back for another breakfast.

Always enjoy eating here! We sat in a booth. For us that is good seating. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. It gets busy on the weekends when the church crowd arrives. It's a great spot for eating and enjoying the company you're with. Lots of options to choose from. Brunch or breakfast, it's a good spot to eat. Also they have their own hot sauce that you can buy at checkout. It's really good! The food is always good. The ambiance is good if you have the patience to wait for the best table. For us, the booth seating is best. More private and personal. August 2024

Nice place to grab a great full breakfast in Plano. I had the Cowboy Omelette and added jalapeños.

We just never eat breakfast out so great treat to have the occasion/need to eat here again. Glad they stayed in business without us to help. Feel a bit guilty not coming more often. Lunch would be a better option for us. Already know we will be back for breakfast in Oct.

Chicken Fried Chicken w/ fries, mash taters & choco chip pancakes. Breakfast plate w/ eggs, hashbrowns, bacon & more pancakes!

Mommy & son very early breakfast date :) Scrambler Cafe is our go to! I believe Yoya was the name of our waitress. She was attentive & wonderful. I also occasionally stop by for breakfast with my older son. We love when Kirsten is working. She is such a sweet sweet soul! Food is consistently great. Chicken fried chicken (lunch menu) is my go to!! Their house hot sauce is very flavorful and perfect with any dish! Lastly great coffee! Always hot and fresh. Love when we are offered a free coffee to go!!! My son will pour it over ice & make him a yummy cold drink later in the day!

Scrambler Cafe is a breakfast spot in a quiet part of Plano, yet packed with customers. The atmosphere is very bright and cheery, and the service was beyond friendly. Everything was really good, but I wish they would have seasoned the food better. I found it to be pretty bland, but good nonetheless. I'd come back, sure.

Came here to meet a friend for lunch and decided to dine solo when she texted to say she spent the night in the ER. The cafe is clean, bright, and airy, and my server, Nadia, was super sweet and attentive. The chicken apple pecan salad was fresh and tasty. I took half home because the portion was huge. Definitely recommend Scrambler Cafe for breakfast or lunch.

I really enjoyed the American cuisine here--great food and a nice atmosphere overall…read more I ordered the French onion soup and the Reuben eggrolls. The French onion soup seems to be popular here, and as soon as I saw that buttery-looking pastry puff baked on top, I knew I had to order it! It was definitely hearty, with plenty of onions (which I love). However, it was a bit saltier than I prefer. I do wish there were an option to substitute the onion soup with a chowder, like clam or corn chowder. The Reuben eggrolls were surprisingly good! I'm used to traditional Asian eggrolls, so I really liked this creative twist. The house-smoked pastrami, sauerkraut, and melted Gruyère cheese worked so well together. They tasted amazing with the spicy Russian dipping sauce (which I appreciated wasn't too spicy). It was such a flavorful and memorable dish! I'm glad I gave it a try.

It struck the perfect balance between lively and relaxed, making it a great spot to enjoy a weekend brunch without feeling rushed. Even when we weren't sure about which appetizers we wanted she allowed us to split appetizers- a small portion where we got to try the apps. We tried the tenderloin crostini which was delicious. Along with coconut shrimp. The shrimp were ginormous. And the sauces were so good. Our fav was the mango marmalade. The best bread I have ever had in my life!!!! You know how sometimes they bring a roll to the table for the table to share? Not here boyeeeee Each person gets their own roll. I don't even know how to explain this heavenly bread. It truly is the best beard I have ever had before. I would come eat here again JUST FOR THE BREAD. The crab cake is out of this world. Huge jumbo clumps. Also comes with a variety of sauces.
