I like this place and honestly would've given them 5 stars. My only issue is that there should be a combo option without fries. Some of us don't like fries and don't want to pay full price for something we won't eat. I asked the girl at the front if I could swap the fries for an extra wing, and she said no. She must be new because I come here all the time, and they've usually allowed it before.

Been wanting to try this place for so long, but not in the area often. So, we were at an event nearby, so I finally was able to come try out the place. It wasn't too busy when we got there around 9pm, but after we ordered and sat down to get our food, it started getting pretty busy. My bf and I both got the Double Smash Burger, and I added the habanero and serrano peppers to mine. We also got Hot Honey Chicken Wings and fries to share. The burgers were juicy and yummy, and some bites of my burger were actually spicy from the peppers. The fries were crispy, just how I like them. The chicken wings were also crispy and juicy, but the hot honey flavor was too sweet for me. We got the Cookies Gone Wild and Unicorn Crunch shakes for the road, and they both were good. Friendly staff, and we loved all the decor of the colorful artwork.

Discovered a new burger joint today! It's a nice and lovely ambiance as we walked into the establishment. Love the decor and paintings on the wall. We ended up getting a double smash burger with the signature classic sauce, aka secret sauce. The smash burger was alright. The fries batter was great and crispy and the garlic sauce with fries was delicious. Definitely enjoyed this place!

Overall, this place is pretty good. The fries are nicely battered and crispy. The burger was a standard smash burger, but whatever pickles they use are fantastic! The fruity pebbles shake was okay, just a little too icy for my preference. The workers are nice, the theme is fun, and ordering is quick. My only complaint is that it is quite pricey for what you're getting. I'd recommend trying it out at least once if you're a burger fiend, but be prepared to spend a pretty penny.

Ok, so Secret Burger Kitchen is AMAZING! We stumbled upon this hidden gem, and WOW...SO YUMMY! Typical smash burger type thing, but like waaaaay better. The quality makes the flavor of the burger so good. Plus, what really makes Secret Burger so fun is the flavor injector. It's a giant shot of yummy goodness. The fries are perfectly fried and salted too. Service is great. You order off a kiosk, and the super friendly staff brings over your food in like 10 minutes or so. Place is packed and busy. Secret Burger is a keeper for sure!

Great smash burgers! I ordered the spicy smash with comes with grilled sliced Jalepenos and Serrano (have an option to add habanero) also their fries are amazingly crispy and delicious. They offer some unique cereal flavored milkshakes, we tried the "Cookie Crisp" style. Service was quick. There's kiosks to order from when you walk in. They also have some beer/cider options. Definitely worth trying this place out!

I got the basic smash burger with fries Meat was seasons super well, I wish the cheese was pre melted and that the onions were cooked into the patty (they were raw instead). Fries seasoned super well, I really liked them! Restaurant was clean, service was kind, he brought my food out really fast, checked in with me to see how o enjoyed it, and told me they have free refills on my pop. Music was great, some drake and OutKast. Parking sucked but I lucked out when someone pulled out right when I was coming out lol. I'll be back!

Underside of my double smash burger. Notice the uneven and charred edges? Yumminess!

My daughter found this place on Yelp when searching for burger places in the area and since we love smash burgers, this was an easy choice. You can order on kiosks up front and there is a man at the counter that can help you as well. We ordered some delicious pear ciders from him after ordering our food on the kiosk. One daughter got the hot honey smash burger, another got the spicy vegan burger and another in our party got the single with bacon and mushrooms. I chose the Double Smashburger. They came with delicious fries that are coated with batter before frying and are my favorite type. So good. They came with a choice of sauces. The burgers had an option for sauces in a syringe for application. This novelty was fun to use (remove the cap before using!). We each loved our burgers as they were cooked wonderfully and had the charred edges. I had grilled onions on mine which helped but they weren't the Oklahoma style where the onions are smashed into the burger but just laid on top. Still pretty good. We loved this food and had great service from the employee at the counter. I will return here one day for more deliciousness.

Amazing burger and the fries were some of the best I've had in a long time. You walk in and order at the kiosk, which will prompt you to leave a tip. One friendly employee did walk my order to my table, but other than that there's really no service to tip for. This is fast food and you're mostly interacting with a computer. Serving the "large" side of sauce in a plastic syringe is an odd idea. Can't imagine who came up with this. They seem to really want to franchise and I think this will have to be reconsidered. Good vessel for sauce, but it's going to rub so many folks the wrong way.

I love smash burgers so I definitely worked this into the itinerary when I was in town. I definitely recommend looking at the menu online ahead of time if it's your first visit because there are so many delicious options. You can order online, or via the kiosk in the restaurant. They offer a variety of smash burgers, chicken sandwiches, chopped cheese, and burger bowls - with plant-based options for each. They also have chicken wings/tenders, a variety of sauce options, milkshakes, and a few dessert options. On this initial visit my eyes were bigger than my stomach so I ordered the ECP B&W (Burger & Wings) Box w/Fries. This option lets you choose between a classic smash burger or chicken sandwich, 4 wings in your choice of flavor, fries, and a sauce syringe. I got the burger (no lettuce, no tomato, add grilled onion and grilled serranos), hot honey wings, fries, and garlic sauce. I did the ranch syringe and added a side of garlic sauce to try. That syringe is HUGE, it's more than enough. You can't do all drums or all flats for an extra charge, I do wish that was an option. As a pepper lover I appreciate that they offer jalapeño, habanero, and serranos as toppings. I got stuffed 75% into the burger and one wing in haha. My friend ordered the Impossible Attitude Adjusta Jerk Burger and she loved it. I'd love to see burger box options that allow you to choose a secret cravings or signature smash burger option, and I think having plant-based boxes would be cool too.

Changing my 5 star review to a 1 star review due to inefficiency of staff. Ordered online to pick up on my lunch break from work. Arrived to store to pick it up only to find it had been served to a group of drunk kids. The order required a total remake and delayed my pickup by 20 minutes (I get a. 30 min break) The staff did apologize but said "they claimed your food" blaming the drunks-.....if only there were employees to double check these things? Sad to see them declining because I'm a huge fan. Maybe hire employees who care to work and not just hangout with the customers. This has happened to me before and several others. 1 star

Maharaji Chicken wings with a big syringe of ranch!

I'm sorry, Secret Burger. Truly, I am. I could not keep your secret. I had to tell so many people about you! I was in Seattle visiting family and decided to pick up lunch and wanted a burger. I didn't realize I'd stay and have a burger, chicken wings and a shake! I saw the menu and HAD to sample a bit of everything. Touch screen ordering. If you know what they have, super easy. First time, take your time. Can be a lot to decide what to get. We ordered 2 burgers, the Maharaji wings, some fries, a strawberry dream drip shake and a couple of sodas. Bruh! They were all amazing!! The wings were one of the best I've ever had. Plus, a syringe of dipping sauce definitely made for a memorable experience. The place itself, really clean. Well maintained. The workers cleaned tables during their downtime. Check in with people eating. Make sure everyone is good. Really cool. Got to speak with one of the owners. Had a good conversation about their business. If you come to Hawaii, you'll kill the burger game, no doubt! ...take the hint. A great place for great food! I will be back again. The secret is out!

    Fries and milkshake
    Chelsea W.

I'll start with 10 star fries. I'd go here just for those! I also like they have a two burger deal and one large fry. The portion size to share was perfect. They had some fun items like the sauces in syringes. We also got a milkshake with cereal sprinkled on the top which made me nostalgic and thought it was fun. The burger patty itself was good, but the lettuce was wilty and brown. The manager came around to check in which was really nice, couple other staff members didn't seem as thrilled to be there. I'm big about bathrooms and the TP dispenser was falling off the wall :/

Lorenzo opened Paseo in 1994, where his popular Cuban roast pork sandwiches were regarded as among the best in the country. After years of local expansion, Paseo abruptly filed for bankruptcy in 2014. The brand was subsequently bought out by a local entrepreneur, but the sale did not include Paseo's secret recipes (the reboot attempted to reverse engineer the sandwiches with varying success). So, in 2015, Lorenzo's sons revived Paseo under a new name, Un Bien, armed with their father's original recipes. Nowadays, Un Bien is generally regarded as superior to Paseo, and you can grab their Caribbean sandos at one of the three locations across Seattle. You can't miss the pastel pink-and-teal palette of the original shack on an otherwise drab block of Ballard. As you approach the wooden window, you are greeted by the aroma of sauteed meats and veggies. Communal laquered wood benches are lined up underneath a covered pergola. Fifties hits ring respectfully around the kitchen. My partner and I visited for late weekday lunch, and we ordered immediately. We opted to focus on the signature pork shoulder, so we split the #1 Caribbean Roast and #2 The Press. Across both sandwiches, we were impressed by the tender pork, rich onions, lemon-forward aioli, and marinade-soaked baguette. The standard roast pork sandwich added on pickled jalapenos and crisp romaine, culminating in a dynamic flavor that accentuated the meat. Meanwhile, The Press featured tart banana peppers, smoked ham, and melty Swiss, amping up the sweet and savory flavors alike; we agreed that this extra-messy sandwich just edged out the standard version. Our order took just minutes to be prepared, and the bill just topped $30. Despite the fanfare, I still found myself surprised by just how satisfying Un Bien's sandwiches turned out to be. Across all the food I ate in Seattle, only these pork sandwiches would be worth a return visit, even if I had to venture out of my way.

We ordered promptly, but were told we would only have about 10 minutes to use the seating area before it closed. When we asked for clarification because the restaurant was advertised as being open until 9:00 PM, staff confirmed they were open until then but said the seating area would close earlier anyway. After receiving our food, we were told not to sit down and were asked to leave the seating area altogether. The interaction felt abrupt and discourteous, especially given that we had arrived well before closing and had purchased food with the expectation that we could eat on-site. The food itself was average, but the poor customer service and inconsistent messaging about seating left a much stronger impression than the meal. There are other better places. Skip.

Located in the Seattle Center Armory, along with many other food vendors, Big Mike's Sandwich Company is serving up huge cheesesteaks, chopped cheese, and other East Coast-style subs. For $25, I picked up the cheesesteak and fries combo. Not a terrible price for the portion. Waited about 10-15 minutes for the sandwich to come out. You order on a tablet here, and then they call your name. It's a small storefront, so you really have to stay nearby to hear your name being called in the large space that is the Armory. Not much interaction with staff. Plenty of seating throughout the Armory, though shared with other restaurants. The food came out piping hot. Obviously, they cook everything fresh to order because the inside of the fries was like lava. The fries were thick-cut and seasoned to perfection. The sandwich was good. I thought some pieces of the steak were a bit tough, and the roll seemed a bit over-steamed or possibly stale. A good sandwich and decent portion, nonetheless. I'm still going 5 stars here. I think Big Mike's is a great choice if you want a hearty, meat-filled sandwich and you happen to be in the area. However, I think you could be happy with another dining option in the Armory, too. My kids loved the MOD Pizza nearby. While there isn't anything wildly unique going on at Big Mike's, they are still pushing out great sandwiches at reasonable prices with a no-frills ordering process.

We were especially disappointed that the Cubano was sold out, as it was one of the main reasons we stopped by. The only drawback was the price--at around $20 per sandwich, it felt a bit expensive for what you get, especially considering it was just a 6-inch sub, even though the quality was good. We visited during a FIFA World Cup match, so the line was quite long, but it moved steadily and efficiently. No complaints there. The atmosphere is casual and straightforward, with indoor seating only. Its downtown location near the stadiums makes it a convenient spot for a quick meal before or after an event. Do you happen to live in Washington and miss said pastrami sando? My friend, I have good news for you. Dingfelder's pastrami is a dead ringer for that sandwich: huge slices of melt-in-your-mouth pastrami, regular and half sour pickles, and all the other accoutrements you'd expect from a legit Jewish deli. I'd say this place is tied with Tat's Deli for the best sandwiches in Seattle.
