Their steaks are legitimately the most delicious steak I've had in years -- amazing marbling, really great flavor. Pork is top notch as well. I've gone to Sections several times now since it's opened, and I am so impressed! Costa Mesa/Newport has been in need of a quality butcher that sources sustainable, grass fed meats, pasture raised chickens, etc. You can tell they really care about where they source their meats. Everything we've tried - a NY, waygu, sausages, filet, lamb shanks... it has all been delicious! We also went during lunchtime last week, and ordered their banh mi and pastrami sandwich. Came in on Wednesday to pick up something to grill with a friend. I found the guys very helpful. They explained how they work with a ranch and buy the entire animal and use it all. Pretty great!
