Serena Pastificio welcomes you into a modern Italian culinary experience. Vibrant decor, mouthwatering food, and a passionate crew. Amazing to think this stands on what once was the AMC Theater serving up your popcorn with a butter station, large coke, and Raisenettes before catching a movie in the '90's. I was reminding my cousin that we once saw such '90's - 00's cinematic classics as The Legend of Zorro, Disturbing Behavior, and Pirates of the Caribbean over here. Anyways, back to present day.... What a vibrant and artful update. We showed up as a party of 12 for a family get together. The table was ready on time for the 7pm reservation on a festive Saturday. The place packed up rightfully. We started out with 2 bottles of white wine from New Zealand and sampled sides of bread, mussels, and polenta. I went with the seasonal special -- venison, topped over a bed of pomme aligot, cheesy whipped potatoes. Delicious and different from standard Italian fare. An unforgettable experience.

I visited Serena Pastificio on a Saturday evening with some friends before catching a movie at the Ipic upstairs. While we didn't dine, the bar experience was excellent. We asked the friendly bartender to surprise us with a drink, and he crafted a unique Old Fashion with honey and lemon flavors, smooth, flavorful, and very easy to sip. The atmosphere was cozy and laid back, with dim lighting and quiet vibe that made for a perfect date night, or pre movie stop. The menu looked fantastic, definitely planning to return for a meal sometime soon.

Came here for Christmas Eve dinner and it was great! The restaurant is so cute, very aesthetic with nice decor. Feels very upscale. The service was great, our server Ricky was friendly and attentive. It was Christmas Eve & quite busy, so it took a little while for our food to come out. Great about food allergies. The steak and potatoes were so so so yummy. The rest of my party enjoyed the table side mozzarella, and raved about it.

The ambiance of this location is so great. I loved the new tableside mozzarella. Freshest tomatoes in boca. The spaghetti Pomodoro was delightful as were the desserts. Killer cocktails. Great service,

This place is awesome for a very unique experience. My wife and I went in for cocktails and when we saw the new seasonal menu we stayed for dinner, the options are new and exciting. We started with the table side mozzarella which was a great experience and tasted amazing . If you like being catered to and enjoying great food I highly recommend dropping in

Dining at Serena Pacifico was a surprising delight! The service was friendly and attentive and conscious of our business conversations that were on going. The food was amazing & everyone enjoyed and raved about their entrees. The pasta was fresh, and the octopus appetizer was perfectly cooked. We appreciated that the restaurant wasn't too loud for conversation amongst us. The ONLY hiccup was that a fire alarm went off during dinner but that was because of the businesses adjacent to the restaurant. Apparently this happens occasionally and the staff handled it professionally and explained to us that all was well. I wish I had more pics of our incredible food!

What a beautiful restaurant for an upscale dinner party or casual gathering. Their simple yet plentiful menu selections offer something for everyone with seafood, beef, chicken and vegetarian options. The decor is so charming and welcoming. Seating options include patio dining, bar seating and inside tables with a flare or indoor / outdoor open air seating. I do recommend this spot for a nice date night, girls dinner, business dinner, holiday office dinner or family gathering. We enjoyed the grilled octopus, bolognese and gnocchi. For dessert - the tiramisu was amazing.

Mother's Day brunch

Went for Mother's Day brunch buffet. Poorly executed. Spent over $700 for pasta, meat balls, stale French toast, salad, fruit and a display of desserts that looked like they came from a Costco package. I've been one other time when it was a normal menu and it was fabulous which is why I booked it for Mother's Day. Drinks were not made well. Overly sweet and unbalanced without the proper garnish. The server was great.

I attended a yelp event here a few weeks back, the service, they were Ver generous, the service was excellent and the food was good so we wanted to get back to show thanks. We have now found a new go to spot! Dazzling Dining rooom, fast friendly service, conveniently located by the parking garage connected to the Imax. This place is located In Mizner Park by the Imax but is on the corner of federal so people don't see it while in Mizner. The ambiance is amazing, the food is excellent, The Fettuccine Bolognese is one of the best pasta dishes I found in South Florida and of course they use Reggiano Parmigiana which is usually a sign that the food will be good when dining Italian. The salad was delicious as was the Octopus. They have a very nice bar, good wine list, specialty cocktails, after dinner drinks and of course homemade desserts. We will definitely be back!

We're invited for an amazing dinner experience. The restaurant is very beautiful. A great place for a date night or special occasion. There was music playing in the background. The Restaurant is located in Mizner. So, there are several garages hidden behind the buildings. The salad was amazing, and the fresh fish was a treat. The gnocchi was very peppery, but it melted in the mouth. If it had a reduction of mushroom sauce, and less pepper it would have been nice. The grilled octopus was presented beautifully and was great. The salmon was cooked to perfection but the lentils was boiled without any taste. I had the Raviolis with Crab , amazing , yes I am Singing, try it!!! The deserts were amazing. Cappuccino was great too. The waiting staff is , working hard to please. Very polite & attentive. Try it, you will not be disappointed .

Hospitality: 5 STARS... From the outside this spot doesn't look like the kind of spot where you could enjoy a fantastic Italian cooked meal with stellar service- it has the look and vibe of a Cheesecake Factory from the outside with it's; super huge letters that spell out Serena, signs posted about their offerings and it's proximity to the iPIC movie theater which it's connected to. So, I was very pleasantly surprised that my overall experience was exceptional. I can offer that Serena gets an A+ for their Efforts- they want their customers to have awesome experiences. And, I have a soft spot for open kitchens- I think it proves a place is clean, takes pride in their work and believes in structure. Food: ***** Service: ***** Ambiance: **** Cesare Salad- Loved it: Dressing was light yet creamy. And, the Croutons- oh my Gawd- I almost asked for more. Meatballs- Worth a 30 minute drive- everyone has their own taste when it comes to these, I like my meatballs soft and served with ricotta. I'm also super picky about my Tomato Sauce- I liked Serena's Tomato Sauce a lot, not too complicated, very light and on the sweet side- a perfect 10 for me. Gnocchi- This must be a signature dish for them- I haven't ever had it prepared the way they do theirs: with Black Pepper- very, very good. Really different and really satisfying. I could have stopped eating after this dish but of course, I didn't due to the fact that everything so far had been delicious. Ravioli Di Falso Magro- Spinach, Ricotta and Fresh Herb Filling topped with Lump Crack (YUM!) Brown Butter (Another YUM), Parmesan and Almond Picada- share this, a must order. Fettuccine Alla Bolognese- If a restaurant can do this well, they can do any Italian dish well- also share this, it is filling and a must try. Salmon- Cooked to my personal perfection which is medium on the inside, crispy on the outside. All food accompanied by a glass (or two) of Joe Wagner Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley worked well with the meal. I didn't need to pop the button on my pants and down a Zeppole but I couldn't pass up a piping hot Italian Donut with Powdered Sugar- I'm only human.

I love this concept that replaced Tanzy. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. The ambiance was great, Joseph and Evin took great care of our private event here. The salad and octopus were out of this world for apps, I loved the flat iron bistec for an entree. I'll definitely be back with friends soon!

As we approached the hidden entrance tucked under a portico, I noticed it was right next to a Jersey Mikes entrance which gave me pause for a second. We had a reservation and were greeted by an extremely pleasant woman who turned out to be our waitress as well. The interior is tight, only about 7-8 tables, a bar and a small kitchen. After speaking with our lovely waitress, we ordered and the food was delivered in courses which was nice for a change. Everything we ordered was freshly prepared and delicious. It turns out the single person in the kitchen is the owner. He hand prepares every dish and accompaniment. Great food, great service and the staff were all very pleasant. Before I talk about the food I want to say that the young lady that was the bartender and server was so friendly and gave great suggestions. The restaurant is small, however it is beautiful inside and does offer outdoor seating as well. Now for the food. They bring out fresh hot rolls with a small plate of cheese pesto and balsamic drizzle. Outstanding!!!!! We came to find out the owner who is the chef, his wife is a pastry chef and makes the bread and desserts. To start we had the Spanish chargrilled octopus. I know I have said this before about other restaurants, but I can truly say hands-down. This was the freshest, most tender, and one of the most flavorful grilled octopus that we have had. It came with a mixture of capers, potatoes, and vegetables in an amazing sauce. Truly fantastic. For dinner, my wife had the blackened yellowtail snapper in curry sauce, and I had the shellfish pan roast. Both were one of a kind dishes. We have never had such great flavor and seafood. Not to mention the amount of food that they put out and the presentation is worthy of awards. My wife's blacked snapper was cooked perfectly had a light blackened coating, and the curry sauce was tremendous. My shellfish were super fresh. Again cooked to perfection, tender, and flavorful. The sauce they were in was amazing. For dessert, we tried their homemade Keylime pie, and this too was top-notch and made fresh. We are planning our next trip to this restaurant and if you actually want a true fine, dining seafood experience you have to try this spot. I'm going to say it is priced accordingly for the true quality of food, the amount you are served and the presentation. If you are looking for a fried shrimp basket or fish and chips, this is not the type of restaurant for you. This is upscale seafood, and a true upscale seafood experience. You might want to consider making reservations as they do get busy and as I mentioned earlier, it is a small restaurant.

Theodore Luff, who fell in love with the breezy charm of the Florida Keys during a visit in the 1920s. He built a bungalow inspired by the island spirit with limestone porches & a chimney right off East Palmetto Park Road. That is the bungalow we visited today! Before becoming a seafood restaurant, this was the 1st home of the Boca Raton Historical Society. There were many other businesses here & eventually was going to be demolished. Arturo Gismondi a restauranteur known for La Nouvelle Maison, Trattoria Romana & the Biergarten stepped up. Luff's Fish House opened in 2017 after a tremendous renovation, with the original chimney windowpanes restored. We left the car with the complimentary valet and were seated on the large patio. There was a cool breeze under the oversized umbrellas. We started with margaritas that were delish and the perfect accompaniment to our $1 oysters. They served over ice & were large, juicy and very fresh. For dinner we shared the spring rolls and a lobster quesadilla appetizers, both were overflowing with lobster meat and fabulous. Service was impeccable, food was delicious, prices were reasonable for the quality of our meal, , setting beautiful & we will be back!

We also ordered the Chicken (Pollo) Chaufa and the Seafood Chaufa. Both dishes came in small portions, and the seafood was only placed on top of the rice. Sadly, they lacked the distinctive Chaufa flavor and tasted a bit bland. The Lomo Saltado beef was tender but similarly lacked seasoning, and the Ají Amarillo was just okay. On a positive note, the service was excellent, and the ambiance felt warm and inviting. It seems the food might have been adjusted to cater to a more traditional or less adventurous palate.
