Came to Servia after work for my birthday with my wife and mother. Had the place to ourselves which was really nice. The staff was very friendly and gave great suggestions on the menu and drinks. We got a the grilled mixed souvlaki to share which was delicious. Something different than the typical meal in Boston that I would highly recommend.

Having seen the reviews and after looking at everything on the menu, this was going to be a great place for our last meal - or so we thought. We started off with a few appetizers, both of which were a little bland. The stuffed zucchini blossoms were VERY bland and needed some sort of salt or sauce to give them some life and were very disappointing. The lamb cigar rolls were ok, but were supposed to come with a dipping sauce, but instead had a few dots of the sauce on the rolls themselves, and thus were a little dry and could have been much better and more flavorful. My wife got the lamb chops. They were good, but not as tender as we had hoped, and a little small. I got the duck and orange gastrique, and I really liked my meal. It was very good - easily the best dish of the night. When we got the bill, we saw we had been charged $8 a glass for 'sprite', which was actually lemonade, and not told that it was per glass, or what the cost would have been for the 'sprite' - otherwise we would have stuck to water. My one meal was not worth the overall bad experience we had here.

My husband and I came here on our last night in Boston. I was intrigued by the menu and we were excited to try everything out. To say it was a disappointing last meal in Boston is an understatement. The place was DEAD - maybe that should have been a warning sign. What we ordered: STUFFED ZUCCHINI BLOSSOMS (ricotta, mint, parmigiano reggiano cheese filling). Extremely bland. Gosh, it needed some salt or some sauce to be semi-edible. LAMB CIGAR ROLLS (braised lamb rolled in phyllo dough, spicy red pepper dip). There was no dip. Just a couple of dots on the actual rolls. Again, super bland and lacking flavor. GRILLED LAMB CHOPS (pomegranate marinade, vegetable caponata, wild berry compote). 3 mini lamb chops. Like mini. Barely any many meat to taste the pomegranate marinade. I felt bad for having to pick the chops up to GNAW on them to get any meat off. DUCK & ORANGE GASTRIQUE (mushroom farrotto, garlic & oil wilted broccoli rabe). Best decision of the night for my husband. gosh.. I wish I had gotten this. Very good! We skipped dessert because nothing caught our eyes. Then we got the bill... I ordered an iced tea and then asked for another once my meal came out. The iced tea was not on the menu, so shame on me for not asking about the price, but shame on this restaurant for not telling me I would be charged $8 dollars per glass. Mind you the glasses are around 6-8oz. So I paid $16 for 16 ounces of tea. Must have had to pull it out of the harbor. Super disappointing experience. Would advise others to skip this place.

Really amazing food but quite expensive. We love the octopus, especially the potato foam! For entree, my favorite is the duck plate: the farrotto gives a slight crunch and the duck is very well-seasoned. The pear-mascarpone ravioli is a little sour and has an interesting taste. The lamb tajine is good, but has too much vegetable and fruits compared to lamb.

Service was amazing! Patrizia made the whole dining experience so wondeful. She knew every menu item (and its history) at the back of her tongue, gave us great recommendations and was a delight to chat with. The Carrot Labneh appetizer was so creamy and tasty! (5/5) Falafel appetizer was pretty good (4/5) Zuchini blossom fritters were recommended but we didn't love it. (3/5) Chicken kebab was cooked to perfection but could use a bit more flavor (4/5) Spicy sausage pizza was interesting. The thin crust is apparently made using burnt wheat berries which has its origins in Mediterranean history. While the taste was top notch, the crust was too soft / soggy for my taste.

We just moved here and per the reviews really wanted to check out Servia. My husband and I came tonight for dinner. I'll say everything we enjoyed first. The ambiance was great, modern/lively. I enjoyed my cocktail (one with mezcal and pomegranate) and my husband enjoyed his wine. Together we shared the mezze sampler, a lamb harissa kebab order, a chicken kebab order, and the servia salad. Ample food for us! The servia salad was amazing- well balanced with dressing and well seasoned. Felt very light and was a very generous portion. The veggies were chopped finely which I liked as well. The lamb and chicken kebabs were flavored and marinated well. Both orders came with two mini skewers. They paired nicely with the sauces they were served with and were just the right amount for us in terms of portion. The mezze platter was delicious. We enjoyed the walnut dip (muhammara), the spicy and regular hummus, and the baba ghanoush. The carrot labneh was a little sweet and creamy for my taste but still tasted good. The Tabouleh had a wonderful flavor, with a hint of mint that really added to its taste profile. I spooned some of the mezze dips into the Tabouleh which was yummy for sure. The part of the shared platter that didn't sit well was the pita. It was super hard to touch, and broke like cardboard. Some reviews mentioned black flour- not sure if this is why. My favorite part about Mediterranean food is when the pita is fresh, warm, and flavorful. We asked our waitress for warmer pita to see if this would taste better with our platter but she said it would be an extra charge. This was surprising to me because any Mediterranean restaurant I've been to generously offers more pita, especially if it has gone cold or hard. Otherwise we has a great experience. I would overall say Servia is a modern, lighter take on Turkish food but definitely could use some work in some areas especially the pita.

Great Greek food; the fried feta is amazing! Clean interior and friendly service, the chef herself came to our table to say hi :) This place needs to be more crowded, hidden gem in the North End

We came in from Maine for a Sox game at Fenway and I was desperate for a meal that wasn't typical Maine Coastal as I'll have all summer. Servia fit the bill. My partner loved his Persian Fizz cocktail (yummy cardamom accents). We were eating early (post game and pre-drive) so had two mezes (stuffed figs and eggplant napoleon) and split one entree (a lamb tagine as good as I've ever had). Then of course we had to have desserts! Baklava and sour-cherry pavlova. Everything was first rate, the service was lovely. Would totally return!

Both the drink and food menus have a staggering variety of items. Beautiful Space, Catastrophic Execution…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in years. We visited Boqueria Boston on Father's Day and arrived to find the restaurant nearly empty. Despite that, the experience started poorly when the host refused to accommodate a simple request to sit near a TV so we could watch the FIFA match. After being seated, it took roughly 20 minutes just to be acknowledged. We ordered two bottled beers, a bottle of still water, and tap water. The tap water arrived within minutes, but the beers and bottled water took another 10+ minutes. The beers were served without glasses, and the bottled water was simply dropped on the table without being served. When ordering, we were informed that at least five menu items were unavailable, including the seafood paella we had specifically come to try. The explanation was that they were out of clams and mussels. After insisting they check with the kitchen, we were told they could prepare it without the clams, so we agreed. The pacing of the meal was baffling. Pimientos de Padrón arrived after about 15 minutes, but then another 20-25 minutes passed before the cheese board and salad appeared. The quality was disappointing throughout. The goat cheese tasted like a bulk food-service product, and the pan con tomate was overwhelmed by raw garlic. The gambas took roughly 45 minutes to arrive and came with only three tiny pieces of bread. We immediately ordered additional grilled bread and waited another 20 minutes for that. Throughout the meal, every inquiry about the delays was met with excuses, despite the restaurant being mostly empty and fully staffed. After waiting more than an hour for the paella, I finally requested the check. Miraculously, the paella appeared moments later. Unfortunately, it wasn't worth the wait. It was bland, lacked any depth of flavor, and was among the most forgettable paellas I've ever had. To make matters worse, no fresh plates or utensils were provided for the main course. Service remained consistently poor. Water glasses were never refilled. Different servers randomly dropped off dishes, yet nobody seemed interested in clearing empty plates. We eventually started stacking dirty dishes on a neighboring table ourselves before someone finally removed them. Our primary server informed us she was going on break and essentially disappeared for the remainder of the meal, only reappearing when it was time to present the check. The only employee who showed any accountability was an older gentleman who eventually stepped in, acknowledged the problems, and provided a 50% discount after realizing part of our order had never been rung in. While appreciated, the gesture came far too late to salvage the experience. Beyond the service issues, the operational details were concerning. The open kitchen made it easy to observe staff working without hairnets or hats, and employees were constantly entering and exiting the same restrooms used by guests, often carrying backpacks and personal belongings through the dining room. What makes this especially disappointing is that I've had much better experiences at Boqueria locations in New York. However, this visit reinforced what feels like a steady decline in the brand. The restaurant itself is beautiful. The concept is strong. The location is excellent. Unfortunately, the management and training appear to be severely lacking. With so many outstanding dining options in Boston's Seaport, I cannot recommend this location. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

You know when you're eating a kale salad and the pieces are too big and you're kind of cramming them into your mouth and then the salad dressing is all over your face? This is NOT that salad! The kale is perfectly chopped so you can enjoy it with just your fork as you talk to your friend/spouse/date or just read your book. The dressing is such perfection, and the perfect amount, no gloopiness here! Crunchy breadcrumbs add magical texture and then there's a shower of finely grated gouda cheese on top. Have you ever read a good book and as you're reading it, you're so into it that you don't want it to end? So you slow down your reading speed to make it last a little longer? That's how I feel about this salad. There are other delicious items on the menu, I saw someone eating the burger that looked so good, I also want to try the Brussels but the call of the salad siren is too strong. Everyone is super welcoming and friendly, especially Catherine, and the kitchen team even shared the dressing recipe with me. We walked into a warm, energetic space with dim lighting, an open dining room, and a constant buzz that makes it a great choice for a night out with friends or a date. The restaurant has a vibrant, social energy that encourages sharing and exploration, and the open layout adds to the sense of activity without feeling chaotic. Rather than ordering individual entrées, the experience is centered around sharing a variety of dishes, making each visit feel a little different depending on what you choose. The tapas are the highlight of the menu, with plenty of options that encourage trying a little bit of everything. The bacon-wrapped dates are one of the signature dishes, balancing sweet and savory flavors, while the patatas bravas, croquettes, and charcuterie boards are reliable choices to start the meal. If you are looking for something more substantial, the seafood paella and squid ink pasta stand out as excellent main dishes, offering rich flavors and generous portions that are easy to split between two or more people. The olive oil cake is also worth saving room for if you want to end the meal with dessert, and the overall progression of the meal works well with the tapas format. The drink menu is just as impressive as the food. Wine is the main focus, with an extensive list featuring Spanish and international selections, but the sangria and cocktails are equally popular. It is the kind of place where you can easily spend a couple of hours sharing plates while working your way through a few different drinks, and the beverage program is thoughtfully curated to match the style of the food. Service is one of the restaurant's strongest points. The staff are knowledgeable about both the menu and wine list, and dishes arrive steadily throughout the meal instead of all at once, creating a relaxed dining pace. The pacing allowed us to enjoy each dish without feeling rushed, and the team checked in at the right moments without hovering. The restaurant is consistently busy, especially on weekends, so reservations are highly recommended. Even with a reservation, there can occasionally be a short wait, and the lively atmosphere means the dining room can get quite loud during peak hours. The energy of the room is part of what makes the experience work, but it is worth keeping in mind if you are looking for a quieter dinner. Barcelona Wine Bar is one of the best places in Boston for Spanish-inspired tapas and wine. The combination of flavorful shareable dishes, a well-curated drink menu, attentive service, and vibrant atmosphere makes it an easy choice for group dinners, celebrations, or date nights. It offers a meal that feels both communal and polished, with a setting that encourages slowing down and enjoying the evening. Just be prepared for the energetic environment and plan ahead if you are visiting during the busiest times.
