The menu is a little overwhelming with the amount of options but I guess everyone will be able to find something they like. The service here was very nice and really attentive. Well, I came with my son. We sat at the bar instead of waiting 15 minutes for a table. He was hungry I was not. I just had a coke. A simple yet non labor intensive product from a fountain. The first one went down fast. It took about 15 minutes to gain the attention of the bar server. Then another 15 minutes for her to actually get me the refill. 50 minutes later still no food. Seven Mile Cafe is a must try! They have tons of options for all - gluten free, dairy free, vegan, vegetarian. Let me tell you- it ALL looks amazing! They have a huge menu, tasty drinks, mimosas and Bloody Marys. The Bloody says it's spicy but it's definitely a mild spice (2 out of 5 in spice level). There is a POWER HOUR for coffee and tea from 7am-8am for dine in only- $1 off. It's a huge restaurant. Bar seating, outside seating, event room, also great for a group. There is an online waitlist- see attached picture. Our table of 4 got right in on a Tuesday lunch hour. They have a free parking lot and free parking on the street. The location I went to is close to the hospital but there are multiple locations. Our server and his trainee were great! Very nice and attentive. Another place I have not been in a while. The restaurant was still empty. A couple was seated at a table, and another customer was at the bar. As usual, I chose to eat at the bar. Most of the young waitstaff were outside the kitchen, chatting with each other. The remaining two were behind the bar, working as baristas. The two grownups were by the restrooms. While everyone was engrossed in conversation, I waited with the menu closed and my hands clasped. When the baristas finally finished talking about streaming shows with the hostess, one of them took my order. In front of the hostess stand, the seasonal specials featured red velvet pancakes and waffles. I ordered the red velvet waffle with a side of pork sausage links. Unbeknownst to me, the waffle was topped with mascarpone cream, chocolate sauce and a large dollop of whipped cream. I could have asked the barista about the preparation, but I had strong doubts she would know. Since the waffle was prepared in a way that did not require syrup, I decided not to add any myself. I scraped off the whipped cream. The sweetness from the mascarpone was not overpowering. Surprisingly, the pork sausage links were plump and juicy. This is a restaurant which caters to vegan diners. They leaked grease when cut into chunks, and I made sure to finish every piece. Finally, I noticed something unusual. The barista drew a small arrow towards the tip line on the credit slip. This place is located in downtown Lewisville and apparently there are 2 other locations. Atmosphere was cute and clean and our wait staff was sooooo friendly and accommodating. Now on to the food, I had a pecan caramel latte which was so good. A little sweet but not too much, I look forward to ordering other drinks next time. My daughter had the pancake (which as you can see covers the entire plate) and it was delicious! I had a Cinnamon bun, which honestly was probably my least favorite item but not bad. This place is divine and has served delicious brunch every time I've been here over the past few years. There typically is a wait, but being able to join the waitlist and view the line online is a game changer. The menu is vast - but my favorite part is the pictures that is displays. I love the menu at Seven Mile Cafe, and they have some of the best coffee around. The Lewisville location is also bright and airy and very welcoming. I generally wish the servers would check in more frequently--a glass should never reach empty--but they're always knowledgeable about the menu and friendly overall. I have been here for two visits with slightly different experiences in service. The restaurant is very large which works with how busy they get they can fit a lot of patrons compared to most breakfast spots. My first visit was with my Niece for her birthday. We were seated quickly and service was prompt and helpful with suggestions as they have a very extensive menu. She went with the Nutella Strawberry pancakes. I stole some and it was great!! The pancakes taste fantastic and then adding your topping of choice is great. I had the full plate of French toast with mixed berries (not pictured) and it was really great and suggest it. For my second visit was not a great. We were seated quickly but then the service went from average to poor. The waiter forgot to bring my tea until after our food was delivered and our order took a really long time to come out. When our food came out the waitress had the food balanced between her hand and her chest for one plate and regularly for the other but she walked passed us and put the food down two tables over and they touched the plate and then pushed it back to the waitress and she picked it back up and then took it to the bar and then finally brought it over to us. I told my brother i wanted to send the food back but he said he was so hungry he wasn't willing to wait for a recook so we ate it. Just not a great visual For the second visit i had the California Benedict. The hash browns were a little soggy and boring and just not fantastic. I would definitely ask for crispy in the future. The Benedict was just really basic and not a lot of flavor. It sounded good but just not exciting but is very healthy outside of the biscuit. I just wouldn't order it again. So a 50/50 experience for service and food but i will be back. I'm just sticking to my poor choices of sugar loaded pancakes and French toast!! You should give them a shot. read more

As frequent guest of SMC Fort Worth & Denton, I was very disappointed with the Lewisville location. We arrived before 12pm, our order was taken at 12:06pm however we didn't get our food until 12:45pm. Upon inquiring about our food, the server advised that the kitchen was backed up and our food would be out in 10-15 minutes. Another server came to our table with one cinnamon roll (for a party of 4 to share, I guess) apologizing for the delay. Waiting 45 minutes for overcooked chicken (hard as heck, shaking the table while cutting hard) & an undercooked waffle is diabolical. Not a great experience and will not return to this location. I'll stick with FW & Denton the locations where service, delivery of food & consistency is top tier. read more

And my daughter and I were overwhelmed by all the goodness on the menu. We ended up getting sweet berry pancakes (customized with carmelized banana - phenomenal), carmelized French toast, vegan waffle and vegan pancakes with berries for my husband. This is a go to location for my BFF and I to meet up for brunch. She's vegan, and they have a vast vegan option. Every time we have been there, it's always bustling and busy. So busy that often most times you won't get a refill of your coffee or that side of bacon that you ordered. I've grown to just expect that when we are there. Expect the ambiance to be loud and hectic. My BFF always loves her vegan meals. Mine, however, have been okay. Pancakes are good but so sweet that it gets old quickly. Their breakfast tacos are strong, but if you ask for an extra side of the green salsa (it is delicious), don't expect it to arrive. They're just too busy to remember those things. One thing that rubs me the wrong way are the hashbrowns. They normally so pale and mushy, and if you order them extra crispy, they don't leave them on the griddle longer, they toss them into the deep fryer. That I'm not so happy about. read more

Luckily, yelp offers a waitlist option for this location so it wasn't too bad. There are many places to sit and cool places to explore around City Hall. Also, it was a gorgeous day outside! The restaurant decor is super cute. It felt like a country modern twist meets industrial wood cabin vibe. There is a bar-top/coffee station right in the center of it with barstools as well. Fairly large restaurant with a good amount of seating. When we finally got seated we were very excited to try some of the food. They have such a large menu - everything from beautiful benedicts to pretty pancakes! So many options to choose from and picking a coffee is a challenge since they all sounded so good! My husband ended up choosing the Breakfast Tacos and I went with the Chicken & Waffle...OMG...AMAZING. No regrets at all. I also included the extra gravy on the side and my taste buds were in for a treat. My husband also enjoyed his tacos with crunchy hash browns in between every bite. Not only was the food spectacular, but our server Drake was fantastic. He made sure we had a great 1st timer experience and ensured every detail was accounted for what we ordered. This place is on the pricier end for breakfast, but I've come here for the better part of a decade because of the quality of food and the accommodation of my food allergies. Unfortunately, this is the 2nd Father's Day I've come here and have had to watch my family eat their meals while I wait for mine because the order was done incorrectly. The first time last year when the waitress forgot my pancakes and chicken sausage and it took 30 minutes to get a new one, so I basically fed my kids and then took my breakfast in a box to church. When I got there I realized the chicken sausage was raw on the inside. Because I'd been going there for years, called, then wrote an email and didn't get a response. I chalked it up to a really bad day and forgot about it (yeah, as I type this I'm slightly horrified). This year my husband suggested it again, and as I'd come with friends not too long ago I was amenable to trying it on a holiday again. Today I struggled to find a breakfast option because I'm allergic to eggs and beans, and the tofu was totally removed and replaced with a bean-based egg substitute. I took on the waitress's suggestion of a dish thinking it would expedite the process, but I still ended up with the wrong order. Again, I still had to watch my family eat, take a few bites, and then throw the rest into a box and went to church. I was still charged for my part, and the meal before tip for 2 kids under 10 and 2 adults was $80. Worthwhile for a clean kitchen and a quick turnaround on a special occasion, but I only got one of those. I will say that my tea was amazing, and Justin, who brought it out was conscientious about getting it right, and showed an awareness of my needing a bag to take out my food and my stacks of boxes. My husband was also happy he wished him a Happy Father's Day. Unfortunately, this is probably my last trip here. The service might be something I can overlook on the holiday (again) but the combination of the price and the full transition to "Just Egg" as an ingredient for all the omelettes and pastries makes menu untenable. If I want to go out and not-eat with my family next year, I can take a shorter drive and watch them at Denny's for less money. I'm honestly sad about it. read more

Pear down the menu choices for more efficiency and do those items well. Lower your Sky high prices. Then customers won't leave with a sour taste from the cash they just dropped on eggs and hash browns. The sourdough toast was my choice of "baked item." It was thick, only toasted on one side, and overall soft. Not "toast" at all. Was cold and didn't even melt the butter. Also way too much cheese piled on top of the eggs. Great service, they accommodated my request for a decaf cappuccino. Did the spoon test in their cappuccino, it was made by a very skillful barista (I do specialty coffee at home). The service here is unmatched! Alicia is one of my favorites as she is always attentive, accommodating, helpful & friendly. I went in to purchase a seven mile latte - it is $6.50 plus tip, but delicious. I've also purchased California Benny which is a large portion for me, but amazing. The ambiance is perfect for a group setting or 1:1. There is a wait during the weekends especially Saturday so get there early. I gave 4-stars as the food can be pricey and because of the wait time (weekends). read more
