I called in a to-go order of fried chicken and moko potatoes. They told me the order would be ready on 20ish minutes. I drive over there and go in about 25 minutes after placing my order. I pay and wait. In a couple minutes they tell me that it will be another 15 minutes because the order didn't print in time to make my order. This, after I paid and gave a 15% tip. Came in for the lunch buffet, this was the first time at this location and definitely my last! One word.. Horrible. Their lunch bar is small. There was nothing available. People stood in line waiting for 10 mins waiting for chicken, pizza, mojos etc. "Clean" dishes were DIRTY. I asked for butter and their response was, we don't have butter. When I said you don't have butter? They asked what I needed it for and then said we don't give out butter. Only Shakeys that won't give butter. One of the worst Bunch a Lunch we have had. Chicken was not cooked good. The potatoes were cold and the entire buffet looked old. The fact that they have you dump you own plates is a real problem. horrible experience here at shakey's. i called to make a phone order and they said it would be 30 minutes. i get there maybe 20 minutes later & the line is HUGE!!! i waited for 15 minutes in line, the old lady who was working was so slow and was talking with other employees rather than hurrying up and taking orders. when i finally pay for my online order they said it would be out soon. i placed my order over 45 minutes ago and they're scrambling to figure out what my order is. I always have a great experience at the shakeys in chino. I always recommend my son basketball team to go whenever they play nearby. They have great customer service. The foods always have been great and I love the Buffet during lunch hours. I love to see kids working and making sure everyone gets their food on a timely manner. This place is extremely short staffed. Came on a Saturday at 3:30 & it took 45min for our table to be cleared. We had to wipe it down ourselves because all they did was pick up the plates & trash. This location needs to be closed down the food was horrible, paper thin pizza , cheese smelled bad. The chicken looked like it was sitting in old oil all day. The service was ran by young teenagers with extremely long nails which aren't allowed in the food industry due to health and safety. One of the girls was rubbing her face and scratching her face then touching everything it was gross. Absolutely, no food handlers training here! Although the staff is extremely nice, having to wait on one person to do everything takes away from a great experience. I started the night at Shakey's but ended up eating Little Caesar's pizza. This place needs to close. Do everyone a favor. Came at 7 and ordered two pizzas, chicken, mojos and a pitcher of beer. We were served beer in plastic soda cups, but sat down at a table that was surrounded by tables with trash and empty beer mugs. Not once in the hour and a half I was there did those tables get cleared. There was a bug in our beer pitcher, and a bug in our water cups. The women's bathroom was overflowing with trash and almost every table was filled with trash too. We got a refund for our food eventually after an hour plus, but what a miserable experience. Nobody cared, there was an overwhelming amount of people at the restaurant needing help, and they didn't have nearly enough people. And those who did looked like they hated their life. I haven't had such an awful experience probably ever. Worst of the worst. This place needs to close down before they end up on some Kitchen Nightmares knock off. read more

One of the worst Shakey's I ever been. My family and I went here to watch a Lakers game, while munching on some pizza and fried chicken. The ambiance is ok and there are a lot of television to accommodate your sport fandomness. I specifically asked several of their stuff politely, if they can turn on to the NBA game because thats part of the entertainment around here. It took me 4 to 5 times to asked them and most of them passed on the request to each other, c'mon its not difficult to change the television's channel. The part that annoeyed me when they accommodated another customer first when we got here first. They changed the channel to the football game instead. Seriously, thats one of the most wackiest customer service I ever dealt with. Anyway.... We ordered a large sausage and pepperoni pizza... and bunch of fried chicken and mojos. That made my experience a little bit ok because I do like going with fam bam to Shakey's specifically for this. Although, their condiments area was mess and I can only refill ketchup in a tiny cup. This location never disappoints, and the pizza is delicious with an abundance of topping choices. The flavor of the crust is divine, and the tomato sauce has a good mix of oregano. I typically order the PCM For One which is a great value that comes with an Individual 7" pizza with one topping(you can add extra toppings for a little more, and I always add sausage, peppers and onions with the pepperoni), as well as 2 pieces of the fried chicken and mojo potatoes. The mojo potatoes are a must as they have a great crunch and distinct spice mixture. The chicken is excellent with a perfect crispiness and moist flavorful meat. I was unsatisfied with this large PCM Shakeys special, especially with the chicken,that's what I was really looking forward to. I get home and crack open the box and I was like: "wow what is this"? The chicken pieces were the size of chicken wings. Looks like they threw in extra wings and skimped out on the rest of the pieces. I'm used to getting big fat juicy pieces of chicken from Shakeys.These pieces were so whatever.. look the picture. Now for the pizza....we usually get the Shakey's special, this pizza was good however the toppings were not balanced... half of the pizza was full of toppings and the other half was bare. The last issue I had with this place was the charge for tiger sauce...75 cents is ridiculous. we should at least get one free sauce with the amount I spent.. ($56.00). I feel cheated with this meal and this is probably the last time I will eat at shakeys. Their quality has really gone down in the past years. read more

Service was very friendly and our food came.out fast, hot and delicious. The medium PCM easily fed our family of 4 with left overs to take home. The bathrooms could have used a bit more attention (toilet Bowl were dirty ). I gave them 2 chances and both a large fail First visit. 4 adults and 3 children total in our party. My son was anxious to go since he was given the free pizza certificate from his school. No mini. Well we ate, talked and waited and still no mini. My son, age 6, just ate slices from the large. I asked for the pizza and about 5 min later it came out. We were done and just boxed the mini Came a second time for the bunch of lunch A few things... Pizza they had out were pineapple and sausage, sausage and jalapeño, and 3 slices left of pepperoni. The entire time we were there, that was all! About 3-4 booth tables had trash from prior patrons left on the table. I went around tables looking for ketchup as all the ketchup bottles were empty. I asked for cups for the ranch and Tiger Sauce. The guy walked to the back and never came out. I was asked what I needed and asked again. I was then given about 4 of the mini cups. Ok. I filled up one, had the other 3 on my plate since I was given them off near the register. While I was there, another patron asked for cups and response "I just gave her some... can you give him what you're not going to use?" As I handed them ever, thought that went through my mind was disgust if I was him. My kiddos wanted to play games and half of them were broken, took the tokens or didn't give tickets But all of this, what topped my disgust, tongs from the fryer were DROPPED on the floor! I went to shakeys with my family as soon as we got there we were greeted by two girls. It was pretty empty and they were quick to help us, and give us suggestions on what we should get. The food took about 20 minutes and it was good and fresh. They do charge extra for ranch but thats everywhere now. The arcade game is fun and clean, but it is a little hot in there. By far the WORST shakeys I've been too. Booked a party , chose this location because we have family closer to this location, BIG MISTAKE ! Couldn't get any one to clean the tables ! Asked literally 5 times ! We winded up just putting our table covers over. We asked 3 times for them to throw out the trash next to our tables, never came to do it. The place was just so dirty. Ordered the huge party package (chicken mojos Pizza) brought out half the order of chicken and all the pizzas, but had to wait an additional 10-15 minutes for other half of chicken and Mojos ! Don't serve the food unless it's all ready. The pizza was cold by the time we got the mojos. We then asked for spatulas for the pizza , and they told us "we don't give those out , you have to use your hands" my jaw literally dropped ! WHO SAYS THAT !!!!!! The manager on duty had no desiree or worry, to once ask if every thing was ok, need anything ? Pick up anything? Nothing..... No store supervisor available either on a Saturday night. They said they were "understaffed" Few games in the arcade didn't work or were out of tickets. To spend $350 dollars and get this service is such a DISAPPOINTMENT !!!! never again will I be back to this shakeys!! We love the locations near us, but this location was 2 thumbs down.
