    Reverse Siberian tiger
    Liz C.

There is just something so cute about five chocolate strawberries in a column on a stick! Shishkaberry came to the University District street fair this year. There were two stands so people didn't have to hunt down the one stand and wait in line. The display of their "fake" chocolate strawberries seems to draw people in. They have white, milk and dark chocolate, as well as toppings like chocolate drizzle, sprinkles, and nuts. They also have bananas and pineapples. The Siberian tiger consists of strawberries dipped in white chocolate and then drizzled with milk chocolate (like tiger stripes). I asked for a reverse Siberian tiger since I wanted it dipped in milk and drizzled with white. They were able to do my custom request and I was given my treat in no time. Some of the strawberries are huge and super plump! Most of mine were ripe and sweet, with maybe one being slightly sour. The chocolate helps bring in more sweetness though. Overall, it's your average chocolate covered strawberry. I don't think they use very high quality chocolate cause it wasn't like biting into an amazing bark of chocolate. I do like how they drizzled quite a bit of white chocolate on top though. Price wise, you can probably make your own chocolate covered strawberries for cheaper. I was just too eager to have some right then and there. It's about $6-7 per "kabob" depending on the toppings. Strawberries were good, chocolate could be better, so in all, just average.

I have to admit: It took me a while to try their sweet sweet berries on a stick. Why? I've had chocolate-covered fruit that's been sitting around before and I thought that's what I would get here. I was VERY happy the day I learned that I wouldn't find any of that at the Shishkaberry booth! Or, well, at least not any of the ones I've been to so far (Folklife and on the UW campus during an event). Sure it's about $5 for a stick of chocolate-dipped berries (or fruit), but it's Oh So Good and I can't get enough. I usually try to stay away, but when I buy... I almost go back and get seconds. Keep on being delicious, my Shishkaberry friends!

The best strawberry covered chocolates around, huge strawberries with the perfect chocolate that doesn't melt and is delicious in your mouth!

This place is the bomb diggity! They personally give Edible Arrangement competition with dipped strawberries and banana's. The employee takes no more than 3 mins or less to prepare your dessert and she did it all with perkiness and a smile, which made our first experience pleasurable. Lines flows pretty quickly so don't get impatient, but wouldn't you be happy for the lines. It speaks volumes about the product and services. People don't constantly return if your services suck! FYI: location may slightly change by only a few feet, other than that, you are welcomed to enjoy 1-2 daily recommended fruit servings with a smile. Strawberries we're huge and delicious, great middle of the day, dessert.

This place gets 4 stars for novelty, service, and the fact that you can't go wrong with strawberries, chocolate and whipped cream. However, as one Yelper mentioned in her review the chocolate is not very high quality. I ordered my Fairy Berry with dark chocolate and it seriously lacked that cocoa flavor. It was thickly coated (another sign of low quality) and hard to bite into. The strawberries weren't very sweet either, but were good. The girl at the stand we visited (Space Needle) was very friendly and sweet. Even though she had to listen to my boyfriend mouth off his dingleberry jokes and sarcastic commentary about the inappropriateness of the Shishkaberry terminology. This is a cute concept. I've bought a pound of strawberries for less than my Shishkaberry but it's worth a try at least once!

Located at the 4 Corners of Seattle Center, this little place is in a great spot to get foot traffic. And who doesn't love fruit on a stick? There are many options for selecting selection of toppings for your dipped strawberries or bananas. Even a selection titled 'DingleBerry (basic chocolate dipped strawberries). It's a super cute idea and the ladies are wonderfully friendly. Their chocolate is not dairy free, so it limits anyone with that sensitivity (my kiddo). But they do offer 'Naked' and the strawberries on our stick were ginormous and super sweet.

Shishkaberry's truck was at the Kesley Creek farm fair today. Great fruit on a stick! Very delicious! My wife's favorite treat in the world.

Very fast and fresh. Tried the one at Seattle center and got my fairy berry in about 2 minutes. Yummy!

The shop itself is very small since it's basically a window shop, either renting space from or connected to Tamari Bar. It's more like a little dessert stand located on the restaurant's patio area, with only a few outdoor tables available. The soft serve was okay, but not as creamy as I was hoping for, and it melted pretty quickly. If you decide to add a syrup flavor, I'd recommend asking for only a small amount. Mine came absolutely drowning in syrup, and honestly, the flavor tasted pretty artificial and overpowering.

She had wanted to visit for a long time after hearing so many good things about it, so this was the perfect opportunity. The café itself is bright, modern, and absolutely adorable. It has a cozy, inviting atmosphere that makes it a great place to relax over dessert with family or friends. The menu is a dream for matcha and hojicha lovers. They offer an impressive variety of parfaits, floats, frappes, and lattes, with optional additions like mochi and red beans. It took us a while to decide because everything looked tempting. My daughter and I shared the Hojicha Mochi Parfait, while my son ordered the Hojicha Float with mochi. The parfait had a rich, authentic hojicha flavor and was generously layered with chewy mochi, crunchy cereal flakes, and creamy soft serve, giving it a wonderful mix of textures. The float was equally enjoyable, with a bold roasted hojicha flavor that wasn't overly sweet, and the mochi was a fun addition. The quality of the desserts was excellent, and while the prices are on the higher side, they reflect the quality of the ingredients and presentation. If you're a fan of matcha or hojicha, this is definitely a place worth visiting.

The soup was really amazing. I don't often like tomato soup but this was the exception. Chunks of tomato and a full flavor without a lot of spices. The crème brûlée was warmed and freshly caramelized on top. This is not made in advance and just refrigerated which seems to be more common these days. The hot chocolate hit the spot! Options for no -dairy alternatives were offered which I almost forgot to ask. Liked the atmosphere, spacious and high ceilings. The staff was very friendly and nice. They had a rush when they opened and didn't seem unusual for them. The candied orange was a nice touch.

We live in such a beautiful place and people just throw their trash on the ground or leave the area they ate at outside messy. This slows down seating for the next person amongst other things.
