On my way home back to the bay we stopped by this Cambodian Chicken Wing restaurant in Long Beach. Place was packed and moving and growing on a Thursday afternoon. Their menu was small but it was enough to have people coming back for more. We ordered the meal for 3-4 (which is technically a meal for 2 people to share. You get 24 wings (3 flavors) and 1 large side. So we tried their tamarind flavor wings, spicy Cambodian dirt wings and Orange Mango wings, along with their fried rice . All the chicken wing flavors were good but my favorite had to be the Tamarind which was a wet wing and their Spicy Canadian dirt which was a dry rub. Top tier flavors I would highly recommend. The fried rice was ok not the best but it did its part. I would also recommend their lemongrass ranch that's a great dip and would have bought some to go if they started to bottle it. 3.5 out of 5 would give it a rating and would come back if I was in the area

    I love this place @neto.eats

Always a perfect score every time I come here. Awesome, taste, service, quality, size of wings, sauce, consistency and no matter how crazy busy they are the staff is always super helpful and friendly! This is why I continue to come back time after time! @neto.eats! Lemon grass ranch is a must !!!! Just saying !!!

Always in the mood for wings but not all wings are created equal. Shlap Muan wings hit different! They know what they're doing! Besides the line almost out the door, we got our wings fresh out the wok within 12 mins. We came at the end of the day and didn't get a chance to try the garlic noodles so I will be back. We tried two types, a dried spice rub called spicy Cambodian dirt and their sticky sauce called dirty Elvis. Both were delicious and I would order again. They were crispy and juicy, fried perfectly. The fries were also crispy and tasty, we got them with jalapeno msg dust! Service was warm and helpful. Will definitely be back

As I pulled up place is busy so, that's a good thing. I heard a lot of great things about this place and decided I'll give it a try. Boy was all the talk was spot on. BEST WINGS EVER!!! I wanted to try the garlic noodles but they ran out and found out they are made fresh daily and since they have been so busy it sold out along with the shrimp and the famous Jasmine rice, they have seating inside with tables chairs plenty of room and nice decor and merch to purchase I tried a few flavors of the wing every single flavor is Bomb. Also had the fried rice and that it self was amazing with flavor. I will be Back Cheers!!!!

Soooo good, the cambodian dirt was AMAZING. I'm a huge fan of lemon pepper wings and an even bigger fan of lemon grass in asian dishes. The dirty elvis really does live up to the hype, it's like a teriyaki sauce on steroids. The sweet and spicy garlic was a great bite as well, like a grown up orange chicken vibe. Garlic noodles helped tie it all together. Service was pretty great! It took a bit long to get food but that's only because the place is so popular and gets a lot of customers haha. Food came out hot and fresh, 10/10 i WILL be coming back

Shlap Muan is the real deal for chicken wings. I discovered them at Smorgasburg and wanted to visit their sit-down location. The restaurant itself has a few tables, but it gets busy. The interior is no frills, which means they prioritize focus on the food. I got the 2-3 peeps, which includes 16 wings and a large side. I got the garlic noodles, which was a solid and filling choice. There was an option to choose up to 3 flavors for the wings, so I went with Cambodian dirt and wet buffalo. Both were delicious! I will warn you that the buffalos is a bit spicier than expected, and tasted a bit different than what I had at their Smorgasburg booth. Nonetheless, I loved my meal. Overall, I love Shlap Muan's chicken wings. Service was also A+. I'll definitely be back

Shlap Muan Chicken Wings is a Khmer-style (Cambodian) chicken wing shop located in Long Beach and they recently opened another location in Monrovia. This Long Beach location was ranked #11 on Yelp's Top 100 Places to Eat in 2025 ( https://www.yelp.com/article/top-100-us-restaurants-2025 ) and was also featured on Yelp's Top Places to Eat in Los Angeles County in 2024 ( https://www.yelp.com/collection/aZNpF_pkeP4dRlKMoIVabw/Top-100-Places-to-Eat-in-LA-County-2024 ) and 2025 ( https://www.yelp.com/collection/7W0mtzOd0VN51jeIAL2_Bg/Top-100-Places-to-Eat-in-LA-County-2025 ). Customers can also find Shlap Muan Chicken Wings at Smorgasburg at ROW DTLA every Sunday. [Parking]: Easy and free strip mall parking. [Atmosphere]: The shop has indoor tables but no TVs, so don't come here expecting to watch sports games. [Ordering]: I placed an online pickup order and my food was ready 5 minutes before my specified pickup time. [Menu]: For wings, there are pan sauces and wok sauces. Their popular Dirty Elvis flavor falls under the wok sauce category (wings tossed in a sweet and smoky caramel sauce). Each order of Dirty Elvis comes with a minimum of 10 wings, but customers can choose a split-flavor option with 5 pieces of Dirty Elvis and 5 pieces of another selected flavor with online orders. For Shlap Muan Wings (pan sauces), customers can order a minimum of 4 pieces per flavor and two highlighted flavors are Cambodian Dirt (lemon pepper) and Water Buffalo. *** Dirty Elvis (10 pieces total - Split Flavor on Cambodian Dirt - $16.00): Those 5 Dirty Elvis wings were absolutely amazing - crispy and saucy. The Cambodian Dirt (lemon pepper) wings were solid, but in hindsight I probably should have just doubled down and gone with all 10 pieces of Dirty Elvis. Shlap Muan Wings (4 Pieces - Water Buffalo, $6.50): The dipping sauce had a good spicy kick, but it definitely will not be everyone's cup of tea especially for people who (1) are not fans of Buffalo wings or (2) cannot handle a mild version of Sriracha spicy level. *** S-tier for the Dirty Elvis wings and A-tier for the Shlap Muan Wings. For anyone who is a fan of Korean fried chicken or even Vietnamese fried chicken like Mama Hieu's, then Shlap Muan Chicken Wings is definitely worth trying.

First time here! Ordered the Cambodian dirt and sweet spicy garlic wings. It was pretty good and felt like the flavors got better the more I ate it. We also ordered the garlic noodles and they were good. I love how Al dente the noodles were. Definitely coming back next time to try the dirty elvis and Cambodian dirt wings! Customer service was great and the woman helping us was lovely. We live in Anaheim so it's a small drive for us but worth it. Can't wait to be back!

These wings shmack. They don't slap lol. The tamarind wings were crazy good. Fingers were sticky, but totally worth the mess. Parking here is a little tight, as there are many other businesses in the plaza. The fried rice was the perfect compensation to the tasty wings. I had to stop myself from eating everything, because everything was that GOOD. Highly recommend this spot just for those tamarind wings. I am definitely coming back to try the other flavors.

I drove from West LA to Long Beach to try these wings. It's a small restaurant located in a small shopping center. Easy parking and I got there around 12. They already had a line out the door. The wait in line was about 10-12 minutes. Not bad at all. The services was fast. The had several flavors and even some deals. The prices were good. Listen I know they are known for wings but also try the garlic noodles and fried rice. There were a few tables to sit down and eat inside. We got the dirty Elvis and Jalapeno wings with garlic noodles plus we added shrimp and shrimp fried rice. I'll definitely be going back to try other flavors.

Came on a Monday afternoon, and the place was packed. The staff here was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making for a great overall experience. We ordered the 2-3 Person Meal ($33) with the Cambodian Dirt and Water Buffalo wings and a side of fried rice. Our order came out super quick, too. The portions were generous for both the wings and the fried rice, making it a great value. These are easily some of the best wings I've had. The wings were perfectly crispy on the outside while staying juicy on the inside. They were very filling, and each flavor was seasoned and sauced exceptionally well. Both the Cambodian Dirt and Water Buffalo had their own unique flavor profiles, and they were equally delicious. I definitely plan on coming back. My only wish is that this place were closer to where I live!

The good: For starters, the wings were cooked perfectly and very meaty. I ordered the 5-6 family pack plus 2 orders of the wok tossed wings and 4 extra wings. We picked them up and ate them the following day. Popped them in the oven and they came out nice and crispy. I bet they are even better when fresh. The sauces and dry rubs were all delicious and flavorful. I live in SD, so I wanted to try all of the sauces. I don't know when I'll be back lol. The side dipping sauces were also really good. The lemongrass ranch, regular ranch, sweet chili, and water buffalo. The not so good: We got fried rice and garlic noodles. They were both supposed to have chicken on them, but they ran out of chicken. We opted to switch them to shrimp and unfortunately they forgot the shrimp on the garlic noodles which we did end up paying for. The fried rice was okay, but kind of bland. It didn't pack the fried rice flavor we were expecting. The garlic noodles were also just okay. They were not as flavorful as people rave about in my opinion. The shrimp were delicious though. They were cooked perfectly, they were nice and plump, and flavorful. We also got a side of fries and they were just basic fries. Nothing bad about them just basic. The bad: Ordering on their website is a pain in the butt. There are wing flavors missing, sides missing, no side dipping sauces to choose from, and overall the ordering platform just isn't very good. Ordering the family pack had no option to choose the sides except fries. It gave options of water buffalo, sweet chili, and orange habanero for side sauces. I chose all three. There were not options to chose ranch or lemon grass ranch. When ordering that amount of wings, you should be able to choose more than 4 flavors too. If I'm ordering 72 wings I want to be able to get all the different options. Even with the 10 person family pack you can on select a certain amount. Packaging wise the wing boxes weren't labeled so we pretty much had to guess the flavors which was a bit of a let down because I would have liked to know what flavor I was eating. The only obvious ones were the wok tossed ones. They also forgot my water buffalo wings. Luckily I ordered some side sauces. Service: I called to ask about the sides and explain the difficulty I was having with ordering. The lady was super nice and said she would update the ordering platform and call me back when it was ready. She did update it, but I never received a call back. I just kept checking the website. Overall: 5 stars for flavor 2 stars for packaging 3 stars for service 1 star for ordering platform. I will go back for the wings, but it will be in store because it took me hours to get the order completed, a few different phone calls, and the order still wasn't right.

3-4 meal pack Top left clockwise: Cambodian dirt wings, Cambodian dirt fries, water buffalo wings, dirty Elvis wings

One of the best chicken wings I've had in recent memory. So crispy, so juicy... In particular the dirty Elvis is what I dream of in a perfect Asian sauce for wings. Sweet, smoky and savory. Service was impeccable. Was in a little bit of a line but after having the wings, you understand the hype. Only negative was that the AC barely worked and it was a scorcher of a day in late July. However found out there was a Monrovia location closer to home so I'll definitely be hitting that up.

What should people with nut allergies avoid from your menu ? Not any information on your website and online menu.

Hi! we do use nuts in our facilities so if its a contact allergy, we do recommend you proceed with caution. with that said, the only thing that contains (peanuts) would be the SPICY ELEPHANT sauce. Hope that helps!

    Are your garlic noodles vegetarian?

Just spoke with them on the phone and their Garlic Noodles are NOT vegetarian! They use oyster sauce in it :(

Is your wings MSG free? for allergy sake?

Yes. Only the Japlapeno MSG dry seasoning will have MSG. See you soon!

    Only open til 7pm?

Yup til 7. Unless you order from their Daisy location.

I hear they also sell from a Pasadena ghost kitchen - anyone know the address and hours?

    Are your wings gluten free?

Hi! Sorry! They are not. They are breaded.

Is the chicken organic (free of hormones and free of antibiotics) and not frozen?

Hi! They are not organic. Thanks!

Might say I'm doing too much, but when you want something, you just got to get up and do it. I love their chicken wings, especially the Dynamite wings, my number 1 picked for flavor. They have pretty much everything, not just chicken wings, so check them out and explore their menu. Big thanks to aka Candie and her team for the great customer service. Very friendly and easygoing. Was very helpful when asked about their menu or popular items of the day. Let's dive right into the good stuff, but if my ways of describing things don't please you. Take a look at some of the pictures I've attached to this review. My orders are, Main: 1. 15 pcs Chicken Wings (5) Dynamite Wings (5) Smokin Spice Wings (5) Jalapeño Peppers Wings Cook fresh upon ordering to give that satisfaction taste. What can I say? Expectations met and satisfied. Their freshly cook when ordered to deliver that crispy flavorful wings are out of this world. Im more of the dry-rubbed type of guy cause I'll do the moisturizing with their ranch dipping on the side or extra sauce of your choice upon request. IYKYK! I definitely recommend this location due to their outstanding customer service experience. Very clean and sanitized. Their parking lot is limited, so best to come during non rush hour. This place is unique in their own way, from design and presentation, it's pretty nice. If you're in the area, stop by and say hi. Enjoy it here or on the go. Share your experience. P.s. Don't forget to smile cause you're beautiful. SYOY!

I was deciding on lunch with the fam and my aunt recommended SoCal Wings. After browsing their…read moremenu, I was sold and placed a phone order. Our order consisted of four SoCal fries (which are basically buffalo fries from The Buffalo Spot with a drizzle of cheese and ranch), a 10-piece nugget, a small fry, a large order of mozzarella sticks, a Thai tea, and a few sides of sauces. To speak bluntly, the experience turned sour for me as soon as I started placing my phone order. While I was ordering sauces, I was rudely cut off by the man working: "Yeah, yeah, anything else?" I felt like I was being rushed off the phone, even after mentioning it was my first time ordering and kindly asking questions about their sauces. The customer service here just overall gave me the ick. Anyways, onto the food. I was super excited for my SoCal fries. They have a variety of sauces to choose from, and I opted for the spicy BBQ. On first impression I was surprised with the generous portions. I ordered a small Socal fries that looked more like a medium. As soon as I dug into my meal, I was met with immediate disappointment; the popcorn chicken on my SoCal fries was extremely stale. It tasted as if they served us three-day-old fried chicken that had been left sitting out. My siblings and mom also agreed the chicken was super hard. I ended up just eating some of the fries and threw the rest away. Before tossing it, I tried drenching the fries in their Cajun sauce (which is over $1 per sauce, btw), and even though I really wanted to like it, it had a weird aftertaste. On top of that, I just couldn't get past how hard the chicken was. The Thai tea, fries, and mozzarella sticks were just decent. I'd also like to mention that when I was placing my order over the phone, the man said my total was $67 and some change. When I paid in person, the total somehow jumped to $83.69. I assumed that included the Cajun sauces I ordered over the phone, but it actually didn't. I ended up paying a second transaction for the sauces, which was around $8. Had I possibly been charged for the side of attitude I was also served? To reiterate: the service here sucks. Overall, I won't be back as the quality doesn't match prices. You'd think that a joint that specializes in fried chicken and wings would serve fresh chicken but on the contrary, my chicken was inedible, gross, and clearly old. I love supporting local businesses, but I refuse to support a place that exhibits rude customer service and serves subpar frozen food that I could throw together at home. I don't recommend this spot as there are much better establishments in the area.

That said, I have come back many times for both from Geeko. There is plenty of parking. There is a small dine in area with maybe 6-8 tables, but I think many people order to go. The staff are soooooooo nice. They take the time to ask her preferences and encourage me to be adventurous like giving me a side of the spicy sauce that I was initially hesitant to try. (the spicy sauce is definitely on the more spicy side, but just shy of covering up all other flavor) Ordering ahead on the phone is pretty easy since they don't have a super extensive menu. If you are in a hurry and you are ordering wings, all ahead. The wings are made to order and they come out so crispy and so juicy (but hot!). Some wings you get for the combo of the sauce and the chicken, these ones I find myself ordering the crispy original because I get to savor the crunchy with the beautiful umami of the chicken and it is not at all bland. If you order when you arrive, the kimbap is ready in about 5 minutes, but the chicken take maybe another 5-10 mins. Last time I went I also got kimchi fried rice (literally didn't know it was on the menu because I have tunnel vision on the wings). It's a smaller portion than some, but the flavor was so big (rich flavor and spicier than most I've tried). It was the perfect dish for being sated but not overstuffed. I'm definitely working that into the rotation of my order (wings plus one other thing ) in the future!

Here you actually have an option to sit at some tables. Decided to snack a little before packing the rest home. The fish is freshly made to order. Seasoned very well, tartar sauce definitely complimented it. The fries were cooked fresh and decently filled to the brim of the bag. The chicken was big let down. The wing was the first piece grabbed out the bag and the temperature wasn't there. No juice, just luke warm dried meat. The second piece I grabbed was the drumstick and again temperature was off. No juice or no steam. It didn't feel like these pieces were under any heat lamps. Felt left out as each piece eaten didn't really have any residual heat. 3rd piece I grabbed was the thigh which I mistook for a breast because it was bigger in size. After positioning in eat mode I decided to pack the rest home instead because the chicken wasn't hot enough. Funny thing is after 1 hour drive my chicken breast piece had some retained heat. Little did I realize the stellar fries kept the breast warm. Shame on this place ... even KFC is enjoyable once order is secured. Their hot sauce packed in cups were good Hopefully they work on the their chicken game because it's comical that their fish outshined the chicken.

I had a craving for Louisiana fried chicken. i had not had any in years. I searched online to find…read morea location near me and this was the location. i was greeted by Rumpo. He was pleasant and assisted me making my choice in the chicken combo since there are so many combo options. I settled on the 3 piece fried chicken, the typical roll, fries and choice of 3 pieces. There was a picture of the fried rice and the meat options are chicken or shrimp fried rice. Why so we ask business' if their food taste good? I asked, is the shrimp fried rice good, he said yes. i asked were the shrimp large or small. he said, they are large and you get 8. i have a favorite spot to get my shrimp fried rice and i know i get more than 8 and the price is cheaper. but, hey! it was my first visit so i ordered it. Since the food is prepared fresh it was about a 15 minute wait. Rumpo gave me the number so i could call ahead to order next time. When my order was done everything smelled great. He even through in a lemon pepper drumette to sample and get me hooked :-). There is no where to dine there but, i was taking it home anyway. When i got home the chicken was still piping hot and seasoned well. The fries were hot too. They use Hawaiian rolls, i like that!! i give the chicken combo a 10/10. The shrimp fried rice was sadly disappointing. there was alot of rice. it was dry and lightly seasoned if at all. i had shrimp at home that i sauteed and added to the rice. My usual spot gives the same amount of rice and i have shrimp in just about every bite! the price is a couple of dollars less too. the shrimp fried rice is a 5/10. would i go back, yes because the chicken was good and Rumpo was very charismatic. All the reviews speak about Kathy. perhaps she was the cook when i went. I had no interaction with her.

I got the 40 Pack with Saigon Street, Korean Kick, Peking and Cali Rub. Sauce coverage was good, but the wings themselves tasted overcooked. I can forgive to-go wings losing some crisp, but the meat itself was tough, chewy and dry. That's the part you can't sauce your way out of. Saigon Street was my favorite flavor. It had the Vietnamese fish sauce wing profile I wanted: savory, a little sweet and solid overall. I would've liked more tang, but I'd order the flavor again. The problem was that almost half of that batch were tiny overcooked flats with barely any chicken on them. At that point, they're basically saucing bones. Korean Kick was solid: sweet with a little heat, pretty much what I expected. Classic thick Yangnyeom profile without blazing spice. Cali Rub reminded me of a BBQ-style seasoning, but there wasn't enough rub on mine. Smoky, sweet and it works well. I actually enjoyed this one a lot, it just needed more rub. Bomb flavor, light execution. Peking was my least favorite. It was edible enough, but it tasted more like char siu than Peking. Deep red, thick, sweet-savory and missing the plum-style tang I expected. Basically char siu that never saw the fire. If they called it char siu, I'd probably have fewer complaints. Calling it "sweet and sour" just made the missing tang stand out more. The seasoned fries were rough. They're that battered, seasoned dredge-style fry, similar to Rally's or Checkers, so they're already on the oily side by design. Enjoyable for a few bites and that's about it. The garlic noodles had a really good chewy texture, but they were dry as hell and the garlic was missing in action. I mostly tasted parmesan and parsley more than anything. Great chew, no garlic, no moisture. For dipping sauces, the blue cheese was okay. The honey mustard leaned more savory, almost like Chick-fil-A's Honey Roasted BBQ packet, instead of bright, sweet and tangy. Not really what I want from honey mustard. Veggies were fine: thick cut and crisp. Pickup was fine, but the location is annoying if you're just trying to grab food and go. You have to park in the structure and pull a ticket. First 90 mins free if you wanna walk around or dine in. Fire Wings has good flavor ideas, but this order had too many execution issues. I'd still consider trying it again because some flavors worked, but the chicken needs to meet the sauces halfway.
