Our Online Order Did NOT Work Well. First time trying this place as we love Thai food. Did the online order thru "Smiledining" to get take out. We ended up waiting about 15 minutes after the time posted. Not that big of a deal but people showed up while we waited that had phone ordered. They said they were early and their food was already done. By the time I left there was 3 other orders in bags for take out. Then, when almost home, they called and said we got the wrong order......and of course when we returned the correct order was not done yet :( So, Food was actually good but, probably won't return due to the hassle. Yum. Yum. Yum. We usually go to another Thai restaurant closer to us but I thought there might be something better out there. I ordered pad Thai, green curry and papaya salad. I've never had papaya salad but I asked the woman who answered the phone and she described it in such a lovely way that I said yes to it. She said it taste so healthy you will love it. She sure knows me. Eating the rest of it today (plenty for 2 or three meals with all I ordered). It was so delicious, I thought I should write a review. Food was perfectly spiced (I asked for mild plus) and the flavors were great. I will most definitely return and will probably go the extra few miles to get the great food that was served to me last night. Bravo. And great to see not so many health violations. Big fan of that too. On a Covid note, I am a strict mask wearer. I was pleased to see their staff in masks and while there were customers dining in, which I don't think is what their yelp page says they are doing, they did have them well distanced. read more

I always judge Thai restaurants on the basics: Tom Kha and Pad Thai. The Tom Kha was possibly the best I've had. The Pad Thai tasted great, it was a wee bit wet for my taste bit still fabulous. The restaurant threw in 2 complimentary teas, as well. This place has the BEST thom yum soup. I ordered medium which was perfect for me. I could have probably done med-hot but played it safe. I also had the Green Curry with chicken which was so GOOD. Its sweet but has a kick. (I ordered it Hot.) The ginger salad was excellent, but different than I've ever had before. The dressing it a lot more carrot-y than I've had at Japanese restaurants. I did ask for brown rice and got jasmine but the flavors are so amazing I didn't even mind the mishap. My husband and I love Siam Thai so much, I don't know where to begin! We order take out at least once a week, because everything on the menu is delicious. They have the best Penang curry, pad ba mae, and fried rice you will ever have! Not only is everything on the menu amazing, but so is the service! We love dining in just to catch up with May and her team. Their food quickly became part of our weekly routine, so we decided we couldn't imagine anyone else catering our rehearsal dinner. They exceeded all of our expectations, and even surprised me with personalized Thai tea bottles (which is also delicious)! I can't say enough good things about Siam Thai and all the employees here. Very good from the limited items we have tried so far. As another reviewer noted I always rate and return to a Thai restaurant first and foremost on it's pad thai. While it's a deceptively simple dish it's very hard to get right and it's my favorite one. I love to cook and it's the one dish that is always a hit or miss for me to make right even after taking a cooking class for it from a great restaurant. Siam's pad thai is good. Subtle flavors, good properly hydrated noodles and the right amount of wetness. Even the next day as leftovers it wasn't dry or chalky which is another sign it was well made. Drunken noodles also well done. Chicken satay yummy. Thai iced tea a tad to sweet but still good. Looking forward to trying the rest of my favorites on the menu as we will definitely return which is really the only rating that matters. read more

I was contacted a few times by Siam and they personally delivered my food to me! What amazing customer service, on a Saturday night after hours. The food had been ready for pickup for a while but still managed to taste like it was just made and amazing. The Rangoon have a unique flavor and the pad Thai is huge and delicious. Update: we've come back twice more then when I left the first review and have had a bad experience. We order something with tofu and it comes with chicken and they just pick it out and toss and tofu (chicken still in the dish) I order things without mushrooms but every time I have to pick them out. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ idk about this place. Out of all the Thai places in Bradenton this one takes the cake. It was not only delicious but super accommodating to my wife and I.
