The main chef is the owner and his attention to quality and ingredients is second to none Lots of tables and booths room for groups and a unisex bathroom. Private parking lot is shared with neighboring businesses, but usually always a place to park. I have yet to have a bad meal from this location and I have been coming here since 1998. Everything you possibly can get is always a great portion size amazing flavors and they don't use Thai peppers as the only spice so you can get things with no heat and they will have all the flavor. Had a chance to try Siam Thai Cuisine and overall it was a great experience. This is a nice spot in Cupertino in a plaza with fairly easy parking. Service was a little slow, I went to pick up take out but I was happy that all my food was fresh. The ambiance of this restaurant is overall nice and good place for sit down as well. For food i tried: * Spicy Thai fried rice with Chicken - I really enjoyed this as the flavors were on point. The chicken was a little dry though and I wish there were a little more veggies * Pad Thai - hubby got this dish and enjoyed it. We like the Pad Thai with Tofu the most, very flavorful and not overly salty or sour, Fried rice shared the same taste but I wish the rice is not so soggy. Thai BBQ Chicken can't fail. While the exterior of this restaurant has not changed for the decade I've known this place, the interior is quite nice and well-decorated, and the restaurant can seat around 40 people. My friend and I were seated immediately. I ordered the Pad See Ew with chicken. We were given a complementary soup with our meal, which was quite good. The Pad See Ew had some crispy noodles and overall had a texture to my liking. Even though we were the first people in the restaurant around 11:30AM, by the time we finished, there were many groups that had filled the restaurant for a mid-day lunch. I'm giving this rating on overall experience. This is a Thai restaurant but feel likes eating at the French fine dine with very rude and slow service. Took us 2.5 hours for Pad Thai, Basil fried rice, house noodle, soup. And that's when we got there with 4 tables who were already eating. If you don't mind waiting, I meant for over an hour and 45 minutes before your food being served then ignore my 2 stars. The foods frankly deserve a 4 stars. I've as good Thai food in the area where their dishes came out with 30 minutes and taste as good. So, very likely my last time coming here. My brother in law recommend the Basil fried rice at this place and I came and got a take out order and it was quite good. Even the Tom Kha Gai was quite good. It took a really long time waiting for the order and there was no table but there were other take out orders. So their kitchen is pretty slow consistently with multiple experience (2 take outs and 1 dining in) So I decided to bring my family here for dinner. Well... It took as long and may be longer than take out. Service wise, the older lady with glasses was kinda rude. I supposed it's just cultural as I've seen rude Chinese servers as well. The other taller lady was worst. They didn't respond when you asked for water, chopsticks or anything. You have two servers with a small restaurant, and the foods are so slow so I expect they gave plenty of time to fill my water? No. Not happening. The only time they got friendly was when we asked for checks. I had the Coconut chicken soup (Tom kha gai) again and it's as good as I had last time. Pad Thai - leaning toward the sweet end. You can smell the aroma of the "wok" as Chinese saying, well made dishes always come with good "wok air". House drunken noodle - Also on the sweet side. But itt was delicious too. Basil fried rice - rice texture was perfect. Flavor wise leaning toward the sweet side. We ordered mild but I think medium would have been better. Husband and I ordered veggie fresh rolls, green curry vegetables, and pad see ew. Fresh rolls were mostly lettuce and had way too much cilantro (I'm not a fan so had to pick it out). Peanut sauce was ok. Green curry was the best dish we ordered. It was spicy but not overpowering, and the veggies were fresh. This dish came as a lunch combo with salad and a crispy spring roll (wasn't listed on the menu as such, so was a nice surprise). First of all, me and my family looooove thai food and have almost never had even a neutral experience. It's always been good or great. Now with this said, this place was completely BAD. We got yellow curry, red curry, brown rice and veggies and tofu with thai basil. The yellow curry and veggie tofu smelled off but of course we all had a cold so had no sense of smell yesterday. Today it's kind of coming back. We were all under the weather so just ate quick and fell asleep. We wake up in the middle of the night to a combo of violent diarreah and projectile vomiting between the 4 of us (Me, my dad, my husband and out 4yo daughter). Please spare your health and do not go here. Food poisioning is not worth it. However I will say we called them and the chef was kind enough to refund our money. read more

Depending on who you ask, this could be considered impressive or overwhelming. Luckily for us, there were some recommendations already provided through the friend. Our order: *Roti & Green Curry *Green Papaya Shrimp Salad- I made the request for this to be made Lao Style, no peanuts, & SPICY. *Siam House Fried Rice [option of: chicken, pork, veggie, or beef] - we ordered beef version *Tofu Pad Thai- no peanuts *Imperial Prawns Food: -Roti was delicious and finger burning hot [in a good fresh typa way]. Green curry was good, so good we kept the remaining bit and enjoyed it along side our rice. -Green papaya [Lao style] was good. The stinky, fermented aspect did not disappoint. The dish was salty, spicy, but lacked in the sourness I love/need. Nothing a few squeezes of lemon couldn't fix! I would definitely order this again but would request for them to make it a bit spicier and more sour. -Fried rice was cooked well and the seasoning was good. Nothing overly amazing but it was definitely good. -Pad Thai was a bit too sweet for me!! The dish was well coated in sauce which is always appreciated but unfortunately the flavors didn't tickle my fancy. -Imperial prawns were great!! Call me crazy but the sauce tastes EXACTLY like TK Noodle's gravy/sauce that coats their combination pan fried noodles. IYKYK!!! I spend the night take sips by the spoonful. While the meal was enjoyed, there were a few issues regarding communication. The waiter taking our order seems confused a lot of the time. The right amount of noodles, vegetables & chicken. I paid a total of $12 plus tip, I ate and still had leftovers enough for another person. I got mild but I think next time I will get it hot. They should have indicated that it was sold out on DoorDash so customers can't order it. They also failed to follow my instructions to make both fried rice spicy and with basil. -Food- The rice dishes were not spicy at all, instead they were too wet and sweet. The Sweet Sticky Rice with Fresh Mango has good mango but the sticky rice is like a tough blob. They should probably put the coconut milk in a separate container.
