I usually order their Massamun Beef, which IMHO it's one of the best Massamun beef around. This time around, I tried their duck fried rice. Taste pretty good. Service was prompt and friendly. Ambiance is clean and classy.

Fantastic Thai restaurant! The food is amazing! Chef and team are wonderful. Recommended!

I found this amazing location over 30 years ago. The owner Allen, was the main chef back then. Half Thai and Burmese he learned to cook from his mother. The flavors are outstanding here, from the sauces used for appetizers, to main dishes, the flavor does not come from the heat. Any dish , if you get it non spicy is just as amazing as with some heat. Upscaled interior makes it a great place to take your date. I cannot express how amazing this location is for the food you get, top scale restaurant, you get at Mom and Pop prices. My favorite is to come for lunch. You get, soup, salad, egg roll, starch of your choice, and the main choice usually for $15 When you come here, Make sure to tell them MIKE sent you

My friend and I went here on a holiday weekend afternoon. While the exterior of this restaurant has not changed for the decade I've known this place, the interior is quite nice and well-decorated, and the restaurant can seat around 40 people. My friend and I were seated immediately. I ordered the Pad See Ew with chicken. We were given a complementary soup with our meal, which was quite good. The Pad See Ew had some crispy noodles and overall had a texture to my liking. Even though we were the first people in the restaurant around 11:30AM, by the time we finished, there were many groups that had filled the restaurant for a mid-day lunch. Overall, this place provides good comfort Thai food, and I would love to come again!

I'm giving this rating on overall experience. This is a Thai restaurant but feel likes eating at the French fine dine with very rude and slow service. Took us 2.5 hours for Pad Thai, Basil fried rice, house noodle, soup. And that's when we got there with 4 tables who were already eating. If you don't mind waiting, I meant for over an hour and 45 minutes before your food being served then ignore my 2 stars. The foods frankly deserve a 4 stars. I've as good Thai food in the area where their dishes came out with 30 minutes and taste as good. So, very likely my last time coming here. My brother in law recommend the Basil fried rice at this place and I came and got a take out order and it was quite good. Even the Tom Kha Gai was quite good. It took a really long time waiting for the order and there was no table but there were other take out orders. So their kitchen is pretty slow consistently with multiple experience (2 take outs and 1 dining in) So I decided to bring my family here for dinner. Well... It took as long and may be longer than take out. Service wise, the older lady with glasses was kinda rude. I supposed it's just cultural as I've seen rude Chinese servers as well. The other taller lady was worst. They didn't respond when you asked for water, chopsticks or anything. You have two servers with a small restaurant, and the foods are so slow so I expect they gave plenty of time to fill my water? No. Not happening. The only time they got friendly was when we asked for checks. I had the Coconut chicken soup (Tom kha gai) again and it's as good as I had last time. Pad Thai - leaning toward the sweet end. You can smell the aroma of the "wok" as Chinese saying, well made dishes always come with good "wok air". House drunken noodle - Also on the sweet side. But itt was delicious too. Basil fried rice - rice texture was perfect. Flavor wise leaning toward the sweet side. We ordered mild but I think medium would have been better. One thing I do want to point out is that the sauce they used on all 3 dishes are the same... Some kind of sweet soy sauce because they all taste pretty much the same.

    Lunch combo price. Hello!?

You can't beat their lunch combo. Especially in this economy! So much food for a great price. Under $20. I got a small side of soup, salad, mini eggroll, pad Thai and spicy chicken with eggplant.

Came by for lunch. Got seated right away. Yellow seafood curry: 3 stars. Decent curry. A little runny. Plenty of seafood mussel, shrimp, fish, calamari pieces. Flavor just wasn't to my liking for some reason. Tofu pad Thai: surprisingly a little too saucy for me. Never thought I would say that. Sauce was also a little too sweet for me. I ate left overs at home and ate it with extra veggies and it was better. It wasn't too busy on Sunday and several groups were present but it wasn't too noisy.

Arrived for lunch on a slow Friday. The small restaurant is decorated with a lot of traditional touches, which somewhat elevate its strip mall location. Husband and I ordered veggie fresh rolls, green curry vegetables, and pad see ew. Fresh rolls were mostly lettuce and had way too much cilantro (I'm not a fan so had to pick it out). Peanut sauce was ok. Green curry was the best dish we ordered. It was spicy but not overpowering, and the veggies were fresh. This dish came as a lunch combo with salad and a crispy spring roll (wasn't listed on the menu as such, so was a nice surprise). Pad see ew was pretty good and came as a huge portion, interestingly not as a lunch combo. Dining companion ordered the pineapple chicken fried rice, which she enjoyed after adding salt. Would return for the lunch combo!

incredible food! came here pretty soon after they opened and the service was quick and our waiter was very friendly. ordered their pad see ew, house fried rice, yellow curry, tom kha puck, iced coffee, fresh spring rolls, and golden tofu. we got all vegetarian food (and no egg) with tofu and everything tasted delicious. super cozy restaurant, affordable, and a lovely atmosphere! will definitely be back here again.

Food: Lack luster. Unfortunately, the dishes I ordered were very very bland. First time trying this place and last time. I ordered the yellow chicken curry w/ rice + potstickers. The yellow chicken curry was not flavorful and the veggies + chicken was lacking on portion size. The potstickers were bland as well but the sauce it came with was very tasty.

Nothing fancy, just a regular Thai food place. Food is not the best, it's just okay. Enough to satisfy your Thai cravings. We had chicken yellow curry and the meat was cut into a big pieces with bone, unlike any other Thai place it's boneless and thin. The sauce is a bit watery and potatoes are cut to a big chunks. Also, we tried their " daily special" crispy pork basil and it was extra hot. It wasn't crispy, its fatty and super oily. Servers are nice. The place is small, interior is okay.

Bad pic but amazing food (takeout)

The menu is laid out by geographic regions, which I thought was a really neat way to showcase the many different cuisines. We started with summer rolls and calamari, both of which were excellent. The summer rolls were fresh and bright, with a delicious peanut sauce that was among the best my sister (a self-described "Peanut Sauce Snob") and I had ever had. The large pieces of calamari were expertly cooked, still very tender even after frying. There was a hint of spice in the calamari dipping sauce that I quite enjoyed. For entrees, we got Pad Thai, Pad See You, and Panang Curry -- all favorites we've had many places (despite the many alluring new-to-me options, I admit we all defaulted to known quantities) -- and we were impressed across the board. Everything was flavorful, had just the right amount of spice, and came out steaming hot. We really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of this restaurant, which felt lively and friendly. It was very busy, with a line out the door by the time we left, so reservations are a good idea!

A generous portion of noodles and veggies, but not as much meat (which is fine by me). As a spicy loving girl, the spiciest level option was good as it was present throughout the entire dish, meaning it was mixed in well! I appreciated this immensely. Also got a mango sticky rice to feed my sweet tooth, and it was good too! Served with blue rice which made it pretty. The bad: Oh my god. I love Rad Nar normally, but when I ordered it from here through UberEats, I was severely disappointed and couldnt even finish a third of the dish. It was severely sweet. Now, I do love my sugar, but holy crap it tasted like they marinated the meat, veggies, and noodles in sugar and then added more sugar when cooking it. I also got the spicy option so it was really weird to eat something sickenly sweet with a little bit of spice when expecting a spicy, savory dish. Maybe it was a bad night for the chef or they mistook salt for sugar, but wow. I was in shock, and in the bad way lol.

First of all, the staff and owner are incredibly nice. They made recommendations for our meal so we could have the best experience. It felt personal and you could feel the chef's love and care with each bite. The space itself is small but incredibly charming. From the paintings on the walls, brick wall, cozy lighting, beautiful mural, and comfortable open seating, it really set the stage for a wonderful meal. Fox Tale Fermentation Project also has plenty of rotating alcoholic and mocktail options which pair nicely with dishes! I ordered the Cali Classic Burger, and although the protein fell apart as soon as I took a bite, however, it was delicious. These flavors are so complex and funky that you can't help but take another bite. Generally, in non vegetarian dishes, the strong flavors of the meat/protein carries the dish, but in these dishes, the condiments, veggies, and fermented elements take your taste buds on a journey beyond the dish itself! The Fox Sando that my girlfriend ordered was also delicious. The toasted ciabatta was the star vessel for the rest of the ingredients. Perfectly toasted with slight hints of char, it really absorbed a lot of the sauces and spreads. I was lucky enough to take the second half of the sandwich home and eat it for breakfast the next day. I was so shocked when the sando itself held up in the fridge and was delicious cold! The flavors absorbed themselves into the bread but didn't make it soggy. I attribute this to the fact the ingredients didn't need to be heated up again to be tasty! Overall, I would absolutely recommend Fox Tale Fermentation Project for anyone who's looking for something different and unforgettable.
