Went here today around noonish and told it would be an hour to hour and half wait so we went walking around the neighborhood to enjoy what started as a lovely Sunday in midtown. Mind you when we arrived there were plenty of available seating out front but I digress. We had enough time to walk around and go get coffee and cookie from Temple. Had it not been for that snack, my review would have much more reflected a hangry situation, but it is bad review nonetheless for a first and LAST visit to this restaurant. We came back before the text for our turn came through and waited patiently inside. Finally the text comes in and the buzzed cut host person with the two crystal-point necklaces and black ear bud in their ear offers us the community high table but we request a booth. They say booth is reserved for someone else. We apparently did not fit the bill to deserve a booth in our humble group of two. WHATEVER. We were then told it would be about 10 more minutes for a table but we check in with them again after 20 or so minutes and they tell us it will be another 5 minutes. REALLY? During that waiting period inside, it seemed that others were getting seated before us. The fact that we had been waiting for OVER AN HOUR for a table and then they decline our request for a booth was already insulting enough. I will say that when we finally were seated, the host gave an apology to us but by then we were already pissed and regretting we had not just waited at Morning Fork when we passed by on our walk so it's whatever at that point. Server comes up to us after another period of time and says she will be with us shortly but she did not get back to us shortly at all, especially considering the time we had already spent. It probably took her another 20 minutes to take our order. Although she apologized for the wait her tone was apathetic and monotone which did nothing to help the already sad situation. We finally got food in OVER TWO HOURS of when we first checked in. She ended up giving us 10% off at the end but by then we were 200% done with all of it. I ordered the eggs benedict and it was ok. Probably would have tasted better an hour beforehand if not plagued by the bitter situation. Frankly I do not believe the host person was doing a good job. Unless that was a hearing aid, I do not believe the host or any server should be wearing earbuds while working. It reflects a lack of focus, especially while waiting on people. They both could use some training in terms of how to reflect a positive, welcoming vibe which was FAR from our experience. It put massive wrench in what could have been a more pleasant Sunday. No one smiled at us. That is customer etiquette 101, particularly when you are the host/hostess. If the servers were over booked with tables, then management should step it up and have more of them working instead of making patrons suffer for their lackluster food. I am regretful that we has chosen this place and I will not ever be returning. I do not recommend this establishment. Take your business elsewhere unless you enjoy waiting. Hubby and I went for Valentine's Day breakfast. It was pretty quiet but by the time we left people were coming in. Service was great, coffee was great! I ordered eggs Benedict and hubby ordered avocado toast, both very tasty but no sides come with and food was lukewarm. We got a raspberry breakfast bun that was very delicious. I visited for dinner in Sept 2024 - so if they rotate a seasonal menu, some of this feedback may not be relevant in the future. Came in on Wednesday morning and I had a nice experience here. I ordered the pork belly benedict and it was very tasty, they definitely work hard on food presentation. Waiter was a little slow, so I paid at the front with the barista, but otherwise the service was good. It was busier in the restaurant than I had expected for a Wednesday morning/afternoon. Ambiance nice, cute interior design. Parking can be a little bit difficult, so I parked a few blocks away and walked in. read more

Came here for a girls brunch with my friend who's VEGAN on her recommendation and we all loved it! All 3 of us got a BROWN SUGAR LATTE to start, I got iced and they got hot but both were delicious and I am new to coffee. Then we all got a different version of an EGGS BENEDICT with side hash brown for our main course. I got the original benedict and added chicken sausage, my friend got the pork belly benedict & my other friend got the vegan mushroom benedict. We all killed our whole plate and we're very happy! The restaurant itself is so cute it has big open glass windows and is so relaxing for a busy breakfast spot with places to sit inside & outside. It's a steeple in the gluten free community and I am very thankful for Sibling and the whole Pushkins portfolio. Fortunately, the food is also really good! What else can is say that other's haven't? It's a dedicated gluten free restaurant. One tip, is the restaurant gets very busy on the weekends. If you are aiming for brunch, prepare for a 45 minute minimum wait. Try to go earlier like before 10AM, and usually the wait won't be more than a few minutes. Also, if you are just looking to get some baked goods and not sit down and eat, you can walk in to the to go counter and get the baked goods right away. Last tip. The sign outside is really missable. So just follow the GPS and park near where it tells you to go. If you think you are at the wrong place, it's just the tiny sign you didn't notice lol. read more

Delicious food and decent service (although there seems to be tension between workers and they seem like they hated being there lol). I've had an americano and it was great! Their mimosas were just whatever. But this is the only place I can get gluten free chicken and waffles (they also have pancakes now, too!!) and it's DELICIOUS. They also have walk in, grab n' go coffee w/ pastries that has no wait time! Pro tip: If you're going on the weekend, you MUST join the online waitlist or you'll be waiting anywhere from 1 hour to 90 minutes for a table. Heard a lot of good things about this place but it's not for me. It's great if you have dietary restrictions as they're very accommodating but...if you eat anything, I feel like there are better places. We ordered the eggs Benedict, salmon quinoa bowl and the vegan nachos. They ran out of salmon so they substituted it with chicken breast with no change in price...kinda disappointing and tbh needed additional hot sauce for flavor. The vegan nachos were also meh. It's got very fresh ingredients however none of it is seasoned so you're essentially eating tomato's and chips...the "cheese" does have some cheese texture but still lacking in flavor. I had to drown this in Tapatio to enjoy The eggs Benedict is the best thing they have on the menu that we tried...so if you're normally an eggs Benedict fan this is probably the best dish for you read more

Was pleasantly surprised at how much I loved the place! Wait was very long on the weekend . Around 1.5 hours on the waitlist. Inside is ok, nothing special, kind of sterile open vibe. Nice to have so many options for plant based vegan eaters! We got the vegan Benedict which was fantastic. The calamari was great as well, and the shashukka was ok, but would pass next time. Sacramento, this is a gem you have! We found this spot through another app specifically searching for GF options and it was such a wonderful surprise. My hubby has Celiacs, so to know that we can all share our dishes and not worry about him getting sick was amazing. We started with the cinnamon donut holes and I questioned, was it truly GF? They were sooooo delicious, tasted liked the gluten options we eat (sans hubby). I ordered the chicken and waffles, hubby got the breakfast sandwich, son got the chicken sandwich and daughter got pancakes. We all enjoyed it and hubby was happy to try every dish lol. My waffles were so fluffy and when I added the chicken, they sang lol. Btw, if you ever tried naked chicken strips from Popeyes, that's what these reminded me of but GF. Our waiter was really nice and explained how this is part of Pushkin's Bakery and they also have a doughnut and ice cream shop. Didn't need to take the time but thankful he did. And the ambiance is very welcoming, can choose to sit inside or out. Overall, if you're looking just for a delicious brunch spot, whether you're GF or not, this is your spot! My friend and I ended up at Sibling because the restaurant we originally wanted to go to had a long wait. We ended up waiting about 45 minutes here lol I recommend you put yourself on the waiting list through Yelp. We both ordered the pork belly Benedict and shared a carafe of mimosas. The carafe wasn't as full as I thought it should've been. When our food came, they brought us the vegetarian Benedict - I guess the waiter heard us incorrectly. They took it away and brought us a complimentary pumpkin bread for the wait - it was very tasty. Their menu is somewhat small, but they do have a whole vegan menu too. Overall, good food. I probably wouldn't return any time soon because I like a more traditional breakfast with hash browns lol, but definitely check them out if you're looking for a vegan restaurant. read more

Menu is online if you'd like to look beforehand. Patio was cute, umbrellas over the tables and some spots were under canopy tents in the street. It was not overly full during the week, and tables are spaced around 6 feet, as I could hear the whole conversation of the table of 2 women next to me. Food - I ordered chicken sandwich as I don't see that many places and thought it would be good to try at a health conscious spot. The chicken was pretty fried but good flavor. The sauce was good too. It was awkward to eat as the tomatoes and pickles squished out at ever bite because the biscuit didn't sit over the toppings very smoothly. I realize this is nit-picky, but would not recommend this dish if you're on a date because if anyone was there with me they would have been grossed out by how messy I was, haha. Side salad had a good ratio to dressing and was tasty. Got a specialty mocha coffee that was delicious and a good temperature. I'm not sure if it was an off day today, but I had a pretty bad experience. We were seated at around 2pm after a 30 minute wait, which was completely normal. Upon seating, we ordered some coffee and food. The coffee came out pretty quickly and was tasty. However, the food did not come out until almost an hour later. One hour!! Not only did it take forever, but we were never given any updates. Our serves didn't come by to tell us that the kitchen was backed up and didn't not refill our coffee or water. One hour..... the food was fine. I ordered a burger, which was a pretty average burger. My mind is blown that they took so long for our food without saying a single thing to us. Back home for the holidays and this was one of the restaurants on my list to try before I leave town! We didn't make a reservation and were told it would be a 45 minute wait, but you could sit outside with no wait, so we decided to do that. I ordered the the brown sugar latte to start and my friend ordered the vanilla latte. Both were so good, but they took so long to bring out. We waited maybe 15-20 minutes before our drinks came out! We then ordered the cinnamon sugar donut holes to start, which also took a long time to get to us, which was shortly followed by our breakfast sandwiches. The sugar holes were good, really sweet, so if you have a sweet tooth, definitely add it to your order. The breakfast sandwich was good for the first bite, but I noticed that the sandwich bread was very moist/watery. I think it may be due to the fact that it was gluten free, but I really didn't enjoy that. Besides that the food was good and the hasbrowns were amazing! Better than McDonalds! Definitely recommend trying this place, but be aware of the slow service and wait times! read more

As a Gluten Free individual, I love being able to order anything on the menu and not worry about it being normal flour on accident. Their Meyer's lemon loaf is both my and my boyfriend's favorite (and he's not even GF!). The brunch food is so good too, I've never been disappointed at Sibling. The service is spot on and the ambiance makes for a great place to meet up on weekends. Just wish parking was a little easier on busier days, but that's not the businesses fault. read more

Brought my friend here for her birthday - she is gluten free and has a pretty strict diet, and she was SO EXCITED to finally see a breakfast sandwich on a menu she could eat. Tip - leave the paper on the sandwich while you were eating so it can help keep the sandwich intact. I had the chicken and waffles with scrambled eggs. The waffle was good and maybe had a hint of vanilla. The chicken was a little dry and hard...maybe they fried it and let it sit out for a bit before it got to me? The prices to food ratio is great, the ambiance is like minimalist restoration hardware vibes. Would come again. Only 4 stars because the service was weird...it was fairly empty but our waitress was surprisingly slow and kept forgetting things. I love the atmosphere in the restaurant. It's very light and refreshing and feels very clean. The gang for buck is very good here. We got two full meals and a drink for 33$ which is very fair because the portion sizes are large. I throughly enjoyed the adult vegan grilled cheese. It had pesto and arugula and was filling but still light. The tomato soup was DELICIOUS. My boyfriend loved the portable lol mushrooms in the farm hash. I enjoyed the hash browns a lot. I was however disappointed with the tofu hash. I expected it to be seasoned and flavorful and I think it was just plain tofu which was kind of a bummer. However when you mix the tofu with everything you else on the plate it does take on those flavors which did help. The service and staff were very nice. read more

Being a gluten free family we are beyond the moon to find an all gf restaurant. I had the salmon eggs Benedict. The girl at the register seemed unaware of this item on the menu. The hollandaise sauce was made perfect and the eggs were cooked spot on super delicious!!! My son got the waffles with powdered sugar and fruit. It came w no powdered sugar. Apparently there is no syrup for the waffles? Unless specifically requested? Hubby got the hamburger. He asked for mustard- only got ketchup. We were told that there was a half hour wait to sit down so we opted for to-go since we had already spent a lot of time looking for parking and had to get on the road. What was interesting to me was there were PLENTY of shared type long tables open and we were told we could not take our food and sit down and eat it. Fail. I know you have your way of running your cafe in which you feel is necessary for your business. It didn't make sense for us to wait 45 minutes for our food and pay good price for it and not be able to eat it at one of your many open tables and we had all that to-go packaging waste on top of it. read more
