Ever since I moved here in Los Angeles, I instantly fell in love with Mediterranean food. Aside from Masis at Glendale Galleria Mall, Sidewalk Grill is my go-to Mediterranean food. For $12-13, you can have a combo of rice, any meat you like, pitas and garlic thingy paste with one or two sides. By the way, my favorites are chicken kebab (white meat) and salmon kebab with babaganoush and hummus. You should try it. Their salad is good too. But I prefer the two sides I've mentioned above. Food was excellent but not very environmentally friendly. We were eating on their very nice patio and they brought out each of our orders in a large plastic bag, plastic container, and plastic silverware wrapped in plastic. Such a waste! I get the plastic container but the huge plastic bag just didn't make sense for someone eating there. I won't go back unless they change their ways. read more

This place is awesome! We parked at the Bank of America parking lot because the adjacent lot was packed. We each got a wrap and 2 sides. I got the filet mignon wrap and babaganoush and dolmas. Amazing food for an amazing price! We order at a counter, and although it took a while to get the food it was worth the wait. Okay I want to start off with saying I've been here twice now. Once was after lockdown once was two days ago. The first time I went I ordered a chicken shwarma wrap. The wrap was okay nothing to special. I noticed they didn't have a Spit for the shawarma when I went the next time. It was also way better the second time. I came here for lunch/dinner yesterday, and I left super satisfied :) FOOD - I ordered the #1 (grilled white-meat chicken kabobs) with 2 sides: the babaganoush and dolmas. The chicken was flavorful and juicy, and the one kabob came with 5 hearty pieces of freshly grilled chicken. The babaganoush was super tasty, especially when paired with the pita! The dolmas were also tasty--nothing too special, but you can't go too wrong with dolmas. I was not a fan of the rice that came with the plate, and the pita was a little hard, but all in all, it was a solid meal. I also had some of my friends' tomato soup and it was amazing--I would highly recommend it! LOCATION/SET UP - The sidewalk grill is really cute and quaint. There is a free parking lot attached to the plaza that it's located in, so parking was not an issue at all. You order at the counter, and it is self seating (although they bring your food out to you). There is both indoor and outdoor seating, but I chose to sit outdoors. There is a mini fountain, cute lights, cute tiling, and of course, a TV! It was just all around a good vibe :) After a meal here, and a quick stop at the Thai restaurant next door for some Mango Sticky Rice, I left a happy camper. This food was so good the best way I can describe it is very clean very well seasoned extremely well prepared and very reasonably priced. I was so impressed I'm a big foodie and this place really surprised me. The restaurant appears to be not too flashy or fancy from the street but the menu really captured my attention I had grilled salmon that was prepared most excellent. my partner had filet mignon it was exquisite. all the side dishes were very tasty grilled potatoes, Indian rice, baba ghanouj, hummus, Greek salad, all excellent. My go to spot for Mediterranean cuisine in Hollywood area. Everything I've had is good and tender.

I admit the food is amazing and it's our go-to but our experience sucked tonight. We had food delivered to our home, a $70 tab for 3 people and we discover that we were missing 3 orders of pita bread. I call to complain, and male worker puts me on hold 3x and after I yell that I've been on hold forever, a woman answers finally after 14 mins. I explain my situation and she says, "sorry but we will credit you $1" I asked, "For each order?" She says, "No. for the total bill. Each pita is 25 cents" I ordered half of my damn food so I could eat with the pita alone. Ever have hummus with no pita? Ever tried dipping pita into tzatziki without the pita? You can do better, guys. Don't insult me with $1 credit when I can't enjoy my meal without pita. It's like giving me my sauce but forgetting the bread sticks. Big fail! read more

I have been coming to Sidewalk Grill for a few years now. I absolutely love it! This is the second time this week I've ordered from here. Their chicken is so juicy, salads are bomb a big portion too. Today I ordered to It has definitely changed a bit. Like the croutons use to be made out of the pita bread which I loved !!! Unfortunately now they are regular no flavor croutons that get soggy almost instantly after the dressing which is solvable I just eat around them. Next the wraps I loved when they were made out of a tortilla type bread but now are made with pita bread which idk how I feel. read more

This place is amazing. It's small, simple, and the food is fresh and delicious. The menu doesn't have a million different things which is great, because it allows them to focus on top quality ingredients for the things they do offer. The prices are totally reasonable and the portions are just right. The best thing about the food is the fact that it isn't over-seasoned or cooked in an unhealthy way. The staff are friendly. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating and both are comfortable. I noticed while eating here that a lot of people walk in, look at the menu and leave and I just want to tell them what a mistake they are making. There are some cute little boutique shops around the restaurant too so it's perfect for a stroll after your meal. Please give this place a try! read more

Suprisingly cheap, for this area. I ordered the filet mignon wrap, potatoes and shallot yogurt, to go. Everything was very well wrapped and arrived home in one piece. Prices are reasonable for the area and they use fresh ingredients in their food. It's the type of place where you order, pay, they give you a number and they bring the food at your table. We ordered each a chicken kebab, with rice, I got the babaganoush, my husband went with their hummus as a side. I can't say I loved it! It was missing the flavor, not bad, but more on the bland side. Not impressed with the food. We ate outside (the interior is just OK), they have a nice patio, pretty large for the area. They don't serve alcohol. Nice selection of rice combos...and steamed veggies. Didn't "wow" me, but it was a very friendly service when we ordered. Food came out quick when we order to go. Ive been eating here off/on for about 7 yrs now. Yesterdays chicken kabob with hummus and rice was exceptional. Marinade on chicken is simply great and the long grain rice is unique. Hummus was smooth and garlic paste was whipped and light. A great outdoor dining spot too. I would give this place 4.5 stars if I could, for sure! I came here with my girlfriend and parents and we each got something different, chicken kabob (photo attached), Chinese chicken salad, grilled salmon and a veggie wrap. We also had the tomato soup (very good and photo attached) and pasta salad. The reason I am giving this place 4 and not 5 is because my chicken was in fact relatively dry. It's flavor was nice with the side of hummus, but again, not very juicy. Maybe that's how they are supposed to be served, but its not how I enjoy my chicken. The price of this place was very good, for all 4 meals and drinks it came to a grand total of $44. Outdoor seating was nice on a spring day also... A friend and I wanted a healthy meal and a place to sit for dinner after a nice hike in the Hollywood hills. Friend recommended this place so we called to ask about their patio situation during Covid times and the restaurant said it wasn't too busy. We gave it a shot and decided if it was crowded, we would find another place. Parking wasn't easy but the patio looked ok. The outside seating area was spacious enough, not too crowded, and felt "safe." We obviously wore our masks when we were not eating. It was nice to just be out and sit at a restaurant. The food was amazing too. Wish the side portions were a little larger but probably best not to overeat. I ordered the salmon with babaganoush and grape leaves. Everything was really tasty and cashier was friendly. I would order the salmon again. They also serve beer and wine -- bonus! read more

I was looking for fresh Mediterranean food and that's exactly what I found. The meat is cooked the moment you ask for it and the rest of the food and vegetable taste fresh. We got grilled chicken plates with sides of tabbouleh and baba ghanoush. The chicken is definitely the juiciest chicken I've ever had and that's not an exaggeration. It's delicious. My gf described tasting the tabbouleh like biting into a fresh bush. I don't know if that sounds appealing but I think it supports the fresh factor.
