Took my kids here on a Friday night , they loved it! Perfect for 2 sugar feening kids! The wait was about 40 minutes so we shopped around while waiting, we received the text that the table was ready and warned to get back within 10 min of the text. No prob, we made it! Ok ... so this one is bittersweet. I've been coming to Sid's since right after they opened their doors. For a few years this place was absolutely my favorite place to eat. There was a smoked candied jalapeño bacon appetizer back then that was off the hook. A burger called "boss hog" that had a slab of pork belly that I would have driven 100 miles out of my way to eat. The 80's - 90's rock ambiance continues to be very nice. My issue ... things have changed. The candied jalapeño smoked bacon appetizer appears to have undergone a recipe change is no longer remarkable. The burgers have changed, which is fine, but in my last two visits the burgers have consistently been overcooked from the medium I requested and dripping in fat ... it's almost soggy. I will say the fries, which are fried in beef tallow, are really good. It just feels like overall quality here has slipped significantly. The service is still good and I have no complaints there. The staff is friendly and helpful. It just feels like the recipe quality is on auto pilot and lacks the quality the owner of this establishment shared with me as his vision on my very first visit here years ago. We came as a walk in on a Friday night and while it was super busy it only took 10 minutes to get a table. I didn't love sitting 2 feet away from someone on the booth though. Music was perfect volume and went with their whole theme. The sever was very attentive and kind but I did receive the wrong burger (they got it switched with another table) but they quickly fixed that. We ordered the pretzel bites and I loved that the cheese sauce wasn't extremely spicy. The pretzels were kind of dry: not sure I would order again. I ordered The 208 (Brie and jam burger) and it was soo good. My favorite burger here. We also got the Godzilla burger and it was also amazing. This is definitely a hip niche place to come and eat but don't come here on a first date, the food is messy and the servers are way cooler than you. I ordered a "Not so wimpy" burger, it was good but the sauce was running down my arms and we had a pile a napkins in the center of the table. We came during Christmas week, so there was over an hour wait but service was fairly speedy once we were seated. Some burgers from our group were pretty good, others lacked any real oomph. The tater tots were soggy, the parm fries were fabulous. The shakes look better than they taste; mostly toppings and too runny. We came here last night before going to a movie with our daughter and friend...from the reviews I was really looking forward to giving this place a try. Walking in the vibe is very cool and gas station feel. It was very clean with great music pumping in the background. For food we started with the deep fried deviled eggs...them for dinner I had the steakhouse burger, my wife had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, and my daughter had the PBJ Burger. For me the food was just ok and felt like my burger fell kind of flat with the burger lacking some seasoning. My wife's chicken which while looking delicious was really dry. Flavors were all there but I had higher hopes. Now for service this was a 10 on a scale of 5...the experience all the way around was exceptional. From the greeter at the front door to the service during the dining experience was awesome. So for that I will give them a 4 star but if it was just for food it would've been a 3 star. The other pet peeve I have with some newer burger joints is the fact that not only the price of a burger has went up dramatically they don't include sides anymore. This now adds to xtra $$$ to the bill, but the good news here is 1 side was big enough to share. An absolute miracle! I could have shed a tear at the taste of the bacon magic that was presented to me at Sid's. We were seated as soon as we came in, I'd steer clear of the bar, as the service was spotty there. You were at the luck of the draw with whomever walked by. We ordered an app to munch on while we waited for our burgers. The candied jalapeño bacon was the thing dreams are made of. It was a pure flavor explosion. I would go back just for that. The burgers were also delicious. Cooked perfectly! The Not So Whimpie burger had more of the amazing bacon on it, the sauce was sweet and tangy. I'm so glad we stopped! read more

You just have to try this place. It's across the street from Sephora, inside the Village. I will say, parking is very limited but it's worth the walk. Service was OUTSTANDING. The restaurant decor is an entire vibe. Kids options are very limited (chicken fingers or burger with no sides included). Also, your meal does not come with a side. We were told the food here was good. Well they're right. We had two steakhouse burgers that are a full half pound of Wagu meat in each of them! We also had an order of Parmesan truffle fries too to share. They're generous too on the fries as you can see in my pictures. It's music is really loud while there which makes it hard to hear the server or your company with you. It's fun though and reasonable. I wish I would of taken a menu picture for you. read more

I work right next to Sid's and have always wanted to try them and I finally got to today. The food looks amazing and the Godzilla burger tasted amazing. They were friendly and were quick when getting me refills of soda. It is a fun place to go to get a good burger. If you want a gut bomb get the Godzilla but there normal burgers looked amazing also. Sid's Garage is BANGIN'! What a damn concept. Remember Donut & Dog? These are the same guys. But better. They've revamped the building and created a place where there are no rules when it come to good food and I'm here for it. Huge burgers, innovative appetizers and oh my God the shakes are out of this world. My better half and I began with a Hazy IPA ($7.00) from Western Collective and a Setting Sun Sangria (white wine, champagne float, fresh fruit and seasonal purée, $10.00), respectively. Mine was such a dope drink. Think adult Capri sun. And it's delicious, I could definitely see myself enjoying one again on a hot summer day. Or any day, really. For food, we shared the Not So Whimpie (candied jalapeño bacon, aged cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles and burger sauce, on a brioche bun, $10.50). Damn, it really is different from your typical burger. The pattie is moist, almost feels like it melts in your mouth. I should have ordered my own but I wanted to save room for what brought me in in the first place... Every month Sid's creates a new crazy milkshake with a whole freaking piece of cake of the top, offered alongside their other crazy af shakes. Their February shake is a vanilla red velvet shake topped with a red velvet cake slice with buttercream frosting, dark chocolate swirl, pastry lemon cream rim with red sugar coating, Sweetheart candies topped with a ring pop ($12.00). I am IN LOVE! Fan-freaking-tastic. It's a sugar-lover's absolute dream. I saw this on Yelp and thought I would try. I had the pretzels and beer cheese for an appetizer and ordered a midnight munchies shake. I also ordered the Steakhouse burger that was presented inside a metal lunch box which I thought was cool. Burger was pretty messy and required lots of napkins. I have to rate 4 stars because it was just a burger! No fries!! Staff seemed too cool to be of service but that seemed to be the theme and the vibe. The food was all really good though. We love the service at Sid's, they're always coming up with new creative burgers and shakes. They tout quality beef with an angus and wagyu blend. Their trash can tots are the best with pork belly and beer cheese, although we laughed at the "presentation" of them. I always get the Nashville hot chicken salad cause it's exceptional. Hubby tried the trashcan burger this time, which was underwhelming and not very well rounded. We both felt the remoulade was overpowering anything else and it really needed some lettuce and or tomato. Their not so basic Bloody Mary is outstanding, and the left handed milk stout is also delicious. We love Sid's and will always come back for the trash can tots at the very least! read more
