Wow. I have been driving by this place for 8 or so years and never tried it until today. They have a rather dated sign that just makes the place seem old, which is probably why I never stopped. They have a huge menu, which has all the diner food favorites. Prices are reasonable and everything we tried was great. Roast beef open faced sandwich, chicken tenders, pastrami, grilled cheese, all solid. Lots of go-to items that I don't see often like BLT's and hot ham and cheese. The menu has tremendous variety. You can have breakfast any time of day. Their dinner entrees are huge and can feed two people I.e, fried chicken dinner. Our favorites are BLTA sandwich, fish tacos, and any egg dish. The French fries are substantial and you get a generous portion. You can dine-in or drive thru. The staff is friendly. Service is quick. I ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito and after about my 3rd or 4th bite I came upon a piece I couldn't chew so I took it out of my mouth and see it's a whole chunk of intestines/chitterlings. I'm really picky about bean and cheese burritos. Ever since I moved from Chula Vista as a wee child, I've been on a mission to find a bean and cheese burrito that tastes like the one from my fav Mexican restaurant down there. This joint is your typical greasy-spoon restaurant. Think pastrami sandwiches and chili cheese fries and bacon cheeseburgers. I got the Avocado Cheeseburger and fries. I liked the fries a lot! They are the really thick steak fries kind. The burger was pretty bland, but the hamburger patty was cooked well and it was a thin patty, which is the kind I like. They have good iced tea, too. At Siggy's, you place your order at the counter, and then someone brings you your food. The guy who took our order and brought us our food was toooootally not wanting to be there that day. Oh well. Every Sunday after church I go to Coffee Bean and this past Sunday they ran out of straws. I went next door to Jamba Juice and asked for a straw and they denied me and everyone a straw. I left out of there really upset considering I'm a rewards member. I looked across the way and saw Siggys and was looking for a straw. The manager or someone in charge made sure I was being helped with a straw. I was so impressed with its customer service I'm now coming back to Siggys to pick up my Sunday breakfast. 09/16/23 ordered breakfast for my family. When we got home found half of our order missing. When we called to resolve this the manager was rude and difficult to deal with . I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt and chalked it up to them just having a bad day . 09/24/23 we decided to give them another shot . Same exact thing . We get home half our order is missing . Called back and again very very rude and difficult to deal with . We moved here to this area 4 years ago. Every time we are on Temecula Pkwy and drive by Siggys, we always say we need to try that place. Well today was finally that day. We stopped by for lunch. We ordered the club and patty melt sandwiches which were both super good as well as the fries. The staff was very friendly including the gentleman who was cleaning up the tables. I am sorry to make this negative review. I have been a loyal customer here for many years. The people who work there are friendly and always pleasant. My past two visits have been terrible. I have to complain about the food. I ordered a patty melt and I am shocked they would serve this to anyone. The patty was unbelievably thin and dry. It appeared to have sat somewhere in the kitchen and was forgotten. I am used to a nice and juicy hot patty. This was not even warm. It was tasteless. I don't care for pickles but I atmine to get some flavor. Yesterday I wanted breakfast so I ordered it around 3 p.m. Again it may have been late afternoon but what was served was terrible. The bacon was hard and dry and was stuck together. I had to use my hands to pry it a part. Terrible. My egg yolks were broken and over cooked. They were not over medium as requested. I found myself on this side of town late one evening after completing some work and I picked this place at random based on a review of the pastrami sandwich. The review was right on the money and the PASTRAMI sandwich was AMAZING! Dimitrio was a great first impression, helping me with curtesy and professionalism. Fast forward to today, out here in Temecula end of day, decided to go out of my to stop in before I started the hour drive home. Eve made me feel welcome and appreciated before sending me on my way with 4 pastrami sandwiches so I can introduce others to the greatness when I get home. Highly recommend this establishment. We tried Siggy's today, for the first time. We ordered 2 items. The fried mushrooms which were delicious and a big portion and a Root beer float. The Root Beer Float was a lot of root beer and just a little ice cream. Not impressive but the thing that bothered me was the cashier was not wearing a mask or gloves. I saw other people behind the counter wearing masks but not the person handing over your food and taking money. I said to her, "You are not wearing a mask or gloves." Most of the time it sounds like I'm bothering them by coming to them instead of going somewhere else. These girls wear the worst faces every time they serve you at the window and when they take your order, they rush you by just saying "anything else?", and "is that it? I give 3 out of 5 stars because fortunately for them, the food is good and the milk shakes are to die for. But the attitude and acrylic nails need to go. The sauce that came with it was awful, wouldn't call it barbecue sauce. The fries were good though, pillowy. The interior of the place is very dated and one of the booths has a drastically ripped and sewed seating bench, right in view of the cashier, so ugly. It was all clean though. My family and I were looking for a new place for burgers and read the reviews on this location and decided to give it a try. Our impression is it's not the best burgers we have had but they also are not the worst burgers; They are somewhere inbetween. They seem like a cross between sonic and in and out. We ordered the 4 jr siggy burgers, 1 side of fries, and two of the bacon, avocado burger meals which came out to a couple cents shy of $50. The sauce that was used on the burgers was very watery, there was a small slice of avocado on both of the avocado burgers which was irritating since we ordered "bacon and avocado" burgers. The fries were bland so we needed to add salt, the burgers were thin, and the lemonade was very sweet. Unfortunately they don't offer military discounts which is understandable since not all restaurants do. The food was alright but we wouldnt consider returning as we didn't feel like we got what we paid for. On the plus side-we weren't hungry afterwards. read more
