    Silo Bar and Restaurant. 10.04.2025.

Bar Review: A great place for dinner or a quick drink/snack before your next move. We stopped in before walking around and our dinner reservations. Had a few drinks and nosh amongst the lively bar setting...an inviting atmosphere. Great service from our dedicated Bartender with a few of his colleagues checking in as well. An entertaining bar with a gastropub flare.

Stopped in during the Diskin Cider takeover and was very pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and attentive. It's a nice casual/slightly upper casual spot to grab some drinks and meet with some friends. I didn't prefer any food but the menu looked very solid and they have a happy hour from 4-6! Definitely will be coming back!

We had so much fun at today's Galentine's Brunch! Super cute/trendy spot in the heart of the Gulch. The featured foods were Valentine's Day specials, but I'm looking forward to other fun events & specials throughout the year!

The silo was mid at best, service was not good at all. We were hardly greeted, although it seemed no one was busy. Our waitress seemed to be disinterested and had an AirPod in while taking care of us. Service was slow and took a long time to get our food. The pizza was the best thing to get, which seems like it comes from an attached business. The cacio e pepe was our biggest disappointment, which was definitely Alfredo, and had absolutely no pepper in it. For being the only customers sitting, it took a while for us to be able to call over our waitress to get pepper for the meal. Overall, the service and lack of care for customers put a damper on the evening.

Silo was such a treat for a Monday! My friend and I walked in and we were happily greeted by the bartender Nicki! She was so kind and checked on us often making sure we were good. We had the hummus plate which was delicious. I loved the plating of it and the crudités as well as pickled onion. My friend had the fish tacos, and I had the cobb salad with salmon and no corn. The salmon was warm and the green goddess dressing was perfect. I didn't need any other seasonings. The place was nice to sit in and have our wines and beers while we got some work done, and the christmas tree gave a nice cozy feel. It was nice and chill.

Pretty basic fare for a hotel, but we did have great service. Based on the menu, it was a great choice for our restaurant club, but the food didn't wow us. Overall, it was a decent experience but it will be awhile before I decide to try it again.

We went for brunch and it was not a disappointment. They had a cool DJ playing early 2000s music and some current top 40 hits. The food was good. Everyone in my party loved their meals. The servers were super polite and the food came fast. The building is beautiful but it is still being updated. Prices are not bad. They also have endless mimosas, matchas, and a full bar too.

It was a beautiful evening so my bf and I stopped in at the outdoor bar counter of Silo at the Canopy hotel and I am very glad we did! There were multiple bartenders who came by to check on us and get our order. For drinks we had a margarita and a dirty vodka martini with blue cheese stuffed olives - yay! The drinks were very good and came out quickly, and we decided to try the menu. I love that they offer pizza from the 5 Points window in the hotel! The all day menu is elevated gastropub with some lighter options like salads, protein bowls, and appetizers, but also have entrees and sandwiches as well. I ordered the ponzu tuna bowl and it was excellent. The bowl was fresh and came with guacamole and noodles. The chicken tenders were just ok. For having so much sauce on them they somehow weren't super flavorful or interesting. The spicy pickles on the side were very good though, as were the side of fries. I really appreciate that Silo is honoring some Nashville history with the design and menu (the Yazoo brewery was in the same spot years ago for those who don't remember). Silo is a great place to visit and I'll be back!

We reserved the bowling alley for the 90 minute max, but we arrived early, and because no one else was playing, they let us play our original reservation time as well as a little extra. Much appreciated. Staff is very accommodating and attentive. Several people checked in on us the entire time we were bowling. We arrived during brunch time, with the typical fare of eggs benny and bloody marys. We chose to snack on the hummus and pretzels and queso. Both hit the spot. The hummus was complex, flavorful, and a little spicy. The pita bread was charred just right. The pretzels were salty, the queso creamy and just a little spicy, and delish. We had a couple cocktails, which were all refreshing and light. The "She's a Peach," with pisco, peach liquer, amaretto, lemon, grenadine, and ancho reyes. We also tried the "Latitude Adjustment," with aged rum, pineapple, genepy, green chartreuse, cucumber, lime, pineapple, and coconut (a tiki like number). Dinner fare is geared toward burgers, pasta, salmon, chicken, handhelds. All the menus are concise, but they all work together and make sense. The place is beautiful and retro and not crowded at all on a midday Friday. I paid 90 dollars base for the bowling and then there was kinda a crazy service charge of almost 20 bucks. All said and done, I paid just over 120 dollars for 90 minutes of bowling for two. But keep in mind, this is for the whole lane, so more people would equate to a lower price per capita. Parking is easy and the first three hours are free with validation. Right there next to the facility. It was a great space to kick back, laugh at ourselves, get a little competitive, snack, and have some cocktails. Would recommend it to anyone.

If you come here for nothing else, let it be the Pinewood Classic Tots (Bravas spice, parmesan,…read moreparsley, paprika aioli). These are simply phenomenal and are delicious even without the aioli. I would order these as my main dish and hoard them all to myself, haha But I did not know this at the time so I also ordered the Turkey and brie wrap (pinewood roasted turkey, brie, garlic aioli, arugula, cranberry chutney, flour tortilla, came with salad). This was just OK - there was too much sauce on my wrap (honestly, my fault, I only like the tiniest smear on sandwiches and I forgot to ask for it on the side). The salad was heavy on the vinaigrette, to the point where the lettuce was wilty and droopy. Everything tasted fine though. The ambiance is cool, there is a bowling alley in the back, and the main dining room has tall ceilings and kind of reminded me of an airplane hangar. Our server was friendly, but she was given a huge table of people that had small kids with them and they were taking all of her time with a million questions so for a while I wondered if we were ever going to be able to pay and leave. Normally sitting and chilling out is no problem but we had to be on the road and a storm was coming so I was a little more on edge this time. Oh also lunch here is EXPENSIVE. It was almost $80 for two people and nothing we ordered was the most expensive dish. Just be aware.

Need less to say we continued inside. I'm no sure if this is handicap assessible as we walkeeld up a lil incline to steps. When entering we were looked at in a way that was not warming. However, a voice came from the bar area with directions. We chose to to the flight. The choices were selected with a little help from the bar. They came out pretty quickly. The tasting started and it out of 5, only one did not have a nasty and strong hoppy/bitter after taste. The select were Passion fruit, Hippies and Cowboy, Southern Wit, Urban Hiker, and Wildwood. As we spent our time no one seem to as if we needed anything or if our selection were ok. We got some "why are you in here type" looks. I was not impressed by this brewery. The customer service and my sensing of being not welcome was high. Note we were the only patrons. I would not return.

I also always appreciate a farm to table restaurant. We got a variety of things to try for our party of four. To start we got the sourdough bread with seaweed butter, kale salad, beef tartare, and yellowfin tuna carpaccio. The kale salad was my stand out app, I loved the fresh black currents in it. For the mains we got the clam linguine, chicken, and snapper. The stand out here was the linguine and the chicken. They make their pasta fresh, and you could definitely tell. The chicken was covered in the most delicious sauce and has garlic confit which was literally chefs kiss.

I walked in without a reservation and they had a table available on the patio, exactly what I wanted! Everyone was so kind and service was friendly and attentive. For starters, I tried the pork sausage dish with clams stuffed in a pepper. It was definitely an interesting and creative preparation and incredibly filling. It was good and I appreciated the flavors but would try a different starter next time! I really enjoyed the spaghetti. It tasted like summer on a plate - light, fresh, and bursting with bright tomato flavor. The sauce was simple but layered, letting the quality of the ingredients shine. Overall, an enjoyable meal and a space I'd love to come back to try other menu items....I have heard rave reviews about a corn pasta here and I'd like to try sitting in the interior dining section which had a cozy, inviting feel.

The cooks were throwing down in that kitchen! Over a couple of days I tried a few things. SZECHUAN SALAD I got the Szechuan Salad with both kale and spinach. I added tempeh bacon and extra dressing on the side. (It didn't need the extra dressing though.) This salad is SO good! I had to force myself to put the fork down and not overeat. It's a large portion so you can share or save half for another day. (When doing this I recommend getting the dressings on the side to prevent soggy greens.) All of the ingredients tasted super fresh, and that Szechuan tofu was thoroughly marinated. Deliciousness! The tempeh (and at home avocado) that I added wasn't necessary but it sure was tasty. This salad is gluten free. SZECHUAN BRUSSELS I love me some roasted brussels sprouts so it was a must to try theirs. I added jalapeños and Hot Tempeh. I have no idea what Hot Tempeh is but I wanted to try it. Best decision ever. The dish itself is amazing. 10/10! The sprouts are saturated in the Szechuan sauce and spices, so every tender bite bursts with tantalizing flavors in your mouth. The Hot Tempeh is tempeh with a coating. It's quite delicious and it elevated an already soaring experience for me. The Szechuan Brussels dish is gluten free, but the Hot Tempeh is not (because of the breading). DUBAI CHOCOLATE CAKE Because I had to. It was NOT gluten free, but I risked it (I have a gluten sensitivity). They did have a gluten free chocolate cake and a gluten free brownie à la mode dish, but I needed that Dubai Chocolate. It was delicious. BLUEBERRY PANCAKES I ordered a single pancake, gluten free for $1 extra. So fluffy and buttery. You'd never guess it was gluten free or vegan. ROASTED POTATOES Excellent preparation and seasonings. MOCK TUNA MELT Gluten free when ordered as a bowl. It was served on a bed of spinach instead of bread. I omitted the cheese and tomatoes. It was very good and the chipotle sauce had a great kick. TRIPLE CHOCOLATE CAKE Gluten free. Rich. Delicious. Everything I ate here exceeded my expectations. Graze is sure to be one of my go to spots for delicious food when I'm in Nashville.

My husband and I visited on a Sunday evening for my birthday dinner with our three kids (ages 4, 3,…read moreand 1). I've been here at least 10 times over the past eight years. Parking was easy, with plenty of street parking nearby. We had a 5 p.m. reservation and arrived around 4:52. The doors were locked, and although an employee was standing just inside, we were asked to wait outside until exactly 5. Normally that wouldn't be a big deal, but it was about 95 degrees, I'm eight months pregnant, and we had three young kids with us. That wasn't a great first impression, and I think if reservations begin at 5, guests should be able to come inside a few minutes early. Once the doors opened, we were seated promptly. They had a high chair ready for our youngest, and our server was excellent throughout the meal. The restaurant has a trendy, upscale atmosphere, and while our oldest did great, I think it's a better fit for adults than families with very young children. One thing I really appreciated was that when we realized they only had glass cups available, our server found paper coffee cups for the kids. It was a small gesture that made the meal much less stressful. The sausage biscuits are still outstanding and easily my favorite item on the menu. The steak was good, but I wasn't impressed with the Cobb salad. Our kids shared the fried chicken and mac and cheese, and my husband ordered the pot roast. Our bill came to about $190 before tip. Overall, the meal was good, but it didn't feel like the special dining experience I remembered from previous visits. Between the rough start, the prices, and food that was good but not particularly memorable, I don't see us returning anytime soon. The service was kind, but for this price point, I expected more.
