I have to write this review in hopes management reads this. My review is based off of the food, not service or ambiance. I ran in to grab a matcha boba, and ended up violently ill. So I came here night to redeem "Too Good To Go" app, but I was not happy. Perhaps it was the owner that helped me as I could not imagine an employee treating me this way. So I check on my app immediately pointed out it actually says 9:45. He said, well- you're going to have to wait for them then (with an attitude). I looked around noticing how slow this place is and at this point I am just asking myself- why be so rude a customer and give attitude? If you don't want to be on this app to advertise, you don't have to be. But if you're going to be on the app for "Too Good To Go", treat all customers with respect and equally. What was impressive is that the steak frites I ordered was spot on. The beef was tender, the fries were great, and the addition of the onion & fried egg really pulled the dish together with some really great flavors. The reason for one less star is that they forgot to put in the sauce I paid for in my order. The food was really fantastic and you can't go wrong with the drinks, maybe just a little more attention to making sure takeout orders are complete. After dinner at Tacos Los Cholos, I was looking for a boba place to have 'dessert'. I found Simple Boba & Tea on Google, it was a great find. It's inside the Target plaza, so if you're coming from Tacos Los Cholos, right turn on Lincoln and enter where the Applebees is. It will be on your right hand side (next to a nails salon). A polite and friendly staff welcomed us. When we asked if the smoothie is made only from dairy, he explained it can be made with milk alternatives such as oats, almond, coconut and soy. My husband got the mango smoothie with coconut milk. I got the strawberry smoothie without the whipped cream. The beverages were delicious and not as sweet as I expected. I truly enjoy it and definitely will come back the next time I'm there (shopping at Northgate or eating at Tacos Los Cholos).
