We even had a weird ask about picking up a couch from a warehouse that he worked with us on adding it into the moving schedule. Great customer service on his end! On moving day Mark and Alex showed up and worked very quickly, efficiently, and respectfully. Our items were transferred with great care, without them taking too much time. The two communicated very well with us. For example, they would clear all concerns about furniture beforehand and always let us know when they were taking a quick break (always less than 5 minutes). Juan Pablo and Xavier were excellent today. We had a 8' x 16' PODS container that they unloaded and took up to our apartment. They were very careful, energetic and strong dudes, meaning they made light work of everything, even our super heavy mattress, without scratching, dropping or damaging a single item. Even the care they took when removing the dolly floor away from the boxes after moving them to the proper location was done professionally, so as to not scratch our floors. They actively tried to be as efficient as possible to save time which I appreciated. The building we were moving out of was a bit of a pain as it had multiple doors/elevators to get through. The team worked with the building manager to find a good location for the truck and keep doors open to make things as smooth as possible. I had a bad experience... The movers worked extremely slowly, and it took 4 hours for 5 pieces of furniture (bed, couch, chair, table, nightstand, tv stand) for a move less than 5 miles. It turned into a situation where one mover worked and the other watched...I asked why they weren't both working and they said they only brought a single screwdriver. I feel like they took advantage of the fact that I'm a woman and tried to be polite -- next time I will use any other moving company or even do it myself rather than be ripped off. EDIT -- the owner Serg reached out to try to rectify the situation, so I am adding back another star. I will say, Serg was very kind in all dealings and one of the movers, Niko, looked like he was really trying -- if both workers had been like Niko I may have had a better experience. read more

I went with sinatra through a reference. They are reliable but I wouldn't say I was happy with the service. Reason is , the job which they completed in 6 hours shouldn't have taken more than 5 hours maximum. I did most of the moving on my own previous day. On the day of moving, the movers were not quick with the job. At one point I can feel they were deliberately delaying since it's paid hourly basis. I have my friend's move coming up. I definitely wouldn't go with them. I paid $800 for my move including tip. To the business owner, please make a note, quantity of stuffs hardly was a one bedroom apartment. I moved lot many stuff myself to make sure I don't spend much time. I can give you the list of items which were moved. Not one single wood furniture. Also I was there when my friend's move and they worked really well. But for some reason though I never pushed them , the job took plenty of time and I can reiterate that it was done purpose. I do not want to point specific instances which happened that day but it was not professional. I felt very sorry to have chosen it. read more

I absolutely recommend choosing Sinatra Movers! I was a little skeptical to book them because I had never used a moving company but my friend raved about this company--she was right. They disassembled our platform bed frame, dressers, kitchen table, 6-person sofa, took down our mounted TVs etc. They also reassembled all the furniture. They did not mount the tvs again but I totally understand why due to insurance issues. All three of them were on time, quick, friendly and efficient. My cat really liked them too. Highly recommend! Just be sure to let them know all the details about your move (how much furniture you have, accessibility to location, how far they are moving your things too etc.) I say this because, I was originally going to book 2 movers, but I suggest you book at least 3 if you have lots of furniture. It will cost just a little more as they charge hourly, but only using two movers will add more time to your move anyways. You don't realize how much stuff you have to move until you move. Two people wouldn't have been enough. I was skeptical about hourly work because I was like, they better move quickly then and not try to play me outta my money lol. Great moving company! If you're looking for a reliable company to get the job done quickly and efficiently definitely pick them. I received many quotes form moving companies, but really liked the fact that they didn't charge me for double drive time or mileage. I was scheduled to have them come at 9:00 am, but due to traffic on the westside they didn't arrive until 9:45. Once they arrived they got to work immediately. I had three Movers move a to bedroom, two-and-a-half bathroom apartment and I felt they did a great job. Dimitri and his crew were very professional and hard workers. When they unpacked the truck, they did a good job of putting the boxes in the correct groups. They used all the right tools to make sure they didn't scratch up the wood floors, they work very hard without taking a necessary breaks. I would definitely use this moving company again! read more
