    Cinnamon Roll
    Jack M.

Sinta is good. I tried the cinnamon roll and an iced oat-milk latte. They were both good. The latte was smooth and offered a good coffee flavor. The oat-milk was tasty in the latte. The cinnamon roll was tasty, although it could of used a little more time being warmed up. The center was not heated thoroughly, but the texture of the cinnamon roll was good. I didn't try the ube spread because I forgot to spread it on the roll. The hospitality was good. The young lady at the register had a good sense of humor and was friendly. They offer inside of outside seating. They have a good amount of baked goods and pastries.

I would DEFINITELY COME BACK! As a Filipina in the Bay Area, I always have high expectations for the type of places that offer Filipino-inspired desserts. My bf and I got the ube bibingka donut with the regular bibingka with a DIY Shelly cupcake and calamansi tart. For drinks we had a Milo crunch latte and buko pandan latte. All were really good, we can pass on the Shelly cupcake. All others were so good and worth the purchase if you're in the area especially the donuts! The entire store had beautiful Filipino-inspired details from the wall decor, lights, chairs, and even trash! You can tell so much thought was put into the details and design while still being minimal and gorgeous to look at! The people who provided us with service were all so sweet even if people started piling in, everything came out and was ready within 5 minutes. Absolutely owe our cousins a big one for introducing us to this!

I like the ambiance. Modernized Filipino culture setting. Love their classy rattan chairs. They have novelty items for sale. I love the selections of their lattes. But i wish they have more selections. So i was thinking, is this because it's still a soft opening (trial selection since they are barely new). I ordered "Milo Crunchy Latte" it was really good because It was not sweet, it was bittersweet, nostalgic taste of milo! The selections of pastries are good. My husband ordered their famous bibingka donut. He was satisfied. The service was quick. So overall, it was a good experience!

I wish I could give this place 10 stars if I could. Such a cute coffee and pastry shop with so much creativity when it comes to traditional Filipino desserts. They do an amazing job of making their pastries less sweet than the traditional versions, which makes them much more enjoyable for people who don't have a huge sweet tooth. It also pairs perfectly with their coffee. Because of how popular they are, expect a long line during peak brunch hours on the weekends. Parking can also be a challenge since they share a small plaza with several other businesses. My go to order is the Mrs. Nguyen Vietnamese Coffee and their bibingka. The bibingka is incredibly soft with perfectly crispy edges, making it one of the best I've had. The drinks, pastries, and overall atmosphere make this an easy spot to keep coming back to. Love the vibe, love the creativity, and can't wait to try more of the menu.

Sinta has a nice dessert case and a curated caffeine menu to match. I arrived 10 minutes before closing and there was a full variety of desserts - I got the bibingka donut (gf) and I'm eyeing the napoleon for next time. Everyone on staff was kind and I enjoyed sitting at the table shortly after I got my order. The cafe feels spacious and intentional, not to mention very clean. I liked my Milo latte, you could taste the coffee and the Milo powder went well with it. The bibingka donut was solid and I liked how the leaf is incorporated. I'm happy I checked this place out and it's got parking spots too. Perfect vibe for meeting up with gals and guys.

Came here on a Saturday around noon and there were plenty of pastries left. They were only selling matcha drinks since their coffee machine was down, but that's all we needed. The service was good and it was kinda busy inside. It was so nice inside and the atmosphere reminded me of back home in the Philippines. I've had their bibingka donut, ube tart, cheese roll, turon cupcake, ube cupcake, and a few others. Their best item is the bibingka donut. Hands down. The BEST bibingka I've had, especially when you warm it up a bit.

Sinta cafe and bakery in Chula Vista, San Diego, has gone viral for their spin on Filipino desserts. What's famous are their Bibingka donuts, which were served still warm. Had perfect textures of pillowy bibingka with crispy edges. Made sure to try their other things as well! Turon cupcake had nice banana pound cake flavor, topped with a brown sugar taro chip. Mango matcha cupcake is matcha cake with a mango cream and a dried mango. Pavlovas are a perfect meringue filled with whipped cream and topped with bite sized pieces of fig, lychee, strawberry. Overall, this is an outstanding Filipino fusion bakery in SD with solid chops. Will definitely come back and I recommend it!

They need to hire another person because the 2 people in the front won't even look back while making drinks. I understand they're busy but if there's a line out the door, one person can keep making the drinks and the other can take orders. While I was standing there, I knew they knew I was there but they didn't acknowledge me. The baked goods were okay. A bit disappointed because I feel like they veered too far away from Filipino desserts. To me it's just like a cupcake place that's Filipino flavored. It'd be nice if they actually served leche flan, turon and other traditional Filipino baked goods too. And if they'd warm up the bibingka donuts. This place has a lot of potential though! Wishing you guys good luck with your business.

I found this place on Instagram and saw it was in my parent's neighborhood. So after a nice morning walk, we headed over at opening to get the Bibingka and Ube donuts. There was surprisingly no line and 2 other groups sitting at tables. They used to have a 2 per person rule but I guess they got rid of it, so we ordered a 6 pack (2 Ube and 4 Bibingka). The Ube was my favorite as it came with a coconut smear on the side. I used it for both donuts. Both very flavorful and worth the price. As the only specialty Filipino bakery/cafe, it makes sense! Will definitely be back the next visit!

Super cute new bake shop cafe in the Escaya area of Chula Vista. Love all the Filipino touches on all their decor. Really takes you back to the Philippines with the ornate designs. We came in and tried pretty much everything in their display and a few that came out as we were ordering. I have to say their cupcake bases are so moist and spongey and not too sweet, and beautifully decorated! Calamansi Tart had a distinct Calamansi flavor tamped down by cream. The Bibinka donuts were dense but kind of mochi-like. Loved the fruit puff pastry and the custard pastry shaped like a shell. The Pandan cupcake was so moist and easy to put away. Ube tart was good and similar to the Calamansi one, just not citrusy. Also tried their Milo Crunch Latte and it had a sort of mocha feel to it; tried hard not breathe in the powder topping and mix it in right away so I don't choke. lol Def recommend this spot and worth the drive down. Friendly service and a line out the door. Hoping this place continues to do well and lookin forward to trying more of their pastries and maybe their Mrs. Nguyen coffee.

Friendly service and delectably delicious variety of Filipino-influenced baked goods! The Bibingka Donuts were heavenly! Can't wait to try the rest! Parking is limited and operating hours are only about five per day.

Finally a Filipino bakery with a modern twist and a gorgeous place to hangout. The place was clean and aesthetically decorated. A great coffee shop to visit with. We need more of these types of places in this neighborhood. They have a great selection of pastries with Filipino inspired flavors. The cupcakes are very light in flavor but the best part of their cupcakes is their cakes. Super moist. Service is as well expected. Drinks came out first and pastries a little bit after since they had to pack them up. The line was long and out the door but move along at a reasonable pace. I ordered the hojicha drink with oat milk. It's made the traditional way with bamboo whisk which I appreciate. I would definitely mark this spot as a frequent visit and go-to spot when meeting with girlfriends.

Sinta is such a vibe! The lovely decor pays great homage to Filipino culture and the furniture (seeing it all over social media) was enough for me to stop by. The Milo Crunch Iced Latte was enough to get me to want to return. It was still soft opening when I visited here last weekday morning and pretty busy. It's situated among other businesses in the midst of a residential area. My sister and I both ordered the same drink and thought it was nicely flavored, not too sweet, and strong. We also got a small sample of their many desserts to take home and share with our parents. We tried the Bibingka Donut, Ube Leche Flan Cupcake, and Pandan Cupcake. All were good, not too sweet and approved by picky Filipino parents lol. I'm hoping they add more drink options once they are fully open.

My sister usually picks up our orders for parties and events. My biggest issue with Hans & Harry's has always been the inconsistency. I'll try something that is absolutely delicious, order it again, and the next time it's just not as good or doesn't taste as fresh. Then I'll move on to something else, love it, and eventually have the same experience. I still keep coming back because they have such a huge selection and, when something is good, it can be really good. Unfortunately, the inconsistency in taste, freshness, and quality can be disappointing. The cherry turnover has been my one reliable favorite that has never disappointed me. Today I ordered a custard pastry shaped like a turnover and a walnut cinnamon braid. Unfortunately, neither tasted particularly fresh, and both were very doughy. The custard filling itself was delicious, but the pastry was much more like a sweet bread than the light, flaky pastry I was expecting. When I asked the employee about it, he didn't really explain that it was more of a sweet bread; he simply agreed that it was fluffy. Had I been craving a sweet bread, I might have enjoyed it more. The walnut cinnamon braid was even more disappointing. One bite was enough for me to decide it wasn't worth the calories! I wanted that first bite to be full of cinnamon, butter, and walnuts--the kind of bite that makes you immediately want another. Instead, it was bland and doughy. Unfortunately, I've experienced the same inconsistency with their cakes and fruit strudel, which I order regularly for parties. Sometimes they are absolutely to die for, and other times they're just not that great. There's obviously a reason I continue coming back: Hans & Harry's has an incredible variety, and I know how good their desserts can be. I just wish the freshness and quality were more consistent from one visit to the next.

I decided to check out the coffee shop and what made me backtrack was that they make calamansi tea (with either black or jasmine tea). Decided to order that and eat the ilocos empanada at the cafe while it was still warm. The ilocos empanada: big portion ($6). You can order with or without cheese ($7 with cheese). I opted without cheese because this is how i remember eating it. It also comes with a vinegar sauce. It was delicious. Perfect crunch. Perfect ratios of papaya, mung beans, meat and egg. Calamansi black tea - yummy as well. Not too sweet. Tasted good with the empanada. I will definitely be coming back for the ilocos empanada.
