OMG! We went here on a fluke. Because of nice childhood memories for The Sizzler in general and then some other not so great memories in the last 15 years. But THIS SIZZLER is amazing! Everything was fresh and tasty. The salad bar had a great variety and everything fresh and tidy. They also had a hot section, like wings, onion rings, pasta....but I'm a little more picky about that stuff...I will give that section an A for variety, but really about a 'C'... but I don't come here for that. I come here for Malibu Chicken, salad bar and CHEESE BREAD. And maybe a steak or at least bites of my husband's steak. And the service is really, really great! read more

Two stars for our attentive and excellent waitress. Kudos to you dahlink. You should be working in a more upscale restaurant. It's Sizzler. What do you expect? Quality food? Get real. Even the salad bar is disappointing these days. There is no room for people to walk in the aisle without bumping into each other. The food looks sad, bleak and past its expiration date. I ordered the Malibu Chicken (overcooked, tough, sans flavor) and used the mustard sauce to hide the disappointment my taste buds would experience in order to choke it down. I won't even try the beef here anymore. It's tough, poor quality and not worth the risk of cancer that the red meat would provide. Back in the day, Sizzler used to be known for their salad bar. WTF happened? That was the only reason I agreed to eat at this franchise. With the poor selection and even more disastrous layout, it's not worth the time/money. read more

I could remember way back when I was a poor, starving college student that going to Sizzler was a great deal and easy on the wallet. Then there were a bunch of Sizzler closures here and there. Apparently, they filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy back in the mid 90s. They then relaunched with a new menu, updated decor, new logo--and of course, higher prices. :-/ My co-workers and I from my last job went to this Sizzler location for lunch to celebrate someone's birthday. Everyone but one person got the salad bar. One good thing about the salad bar is you can keep going back and trying something different. So after I had my salad, I went back and got a small bowl of the chocolate mousse dessert, which was quite tasty and light. My favorite meal to get at Sizzler is the steak and hibachi chicken combo with a choice of either baked potato or rice pilaf. I typically get the rice since it complements the chicken well. The quality of the steaks could be better (but then, we'd all have to pay more $$$). Nothing a little A-1 steak sauce can't fix. ;-) This location is clean and wasn't very busy the day we were there. I did notice that there were quite a number of senior citizens, making me think they came over here from their homes in Leisure World. :-D read more

So I'm sitting in this Sizzler waiting for my meal to arrive. While waiting, I look at my phone and I see that Yelp is asking me to review this place. While I'm reading some reviews I can't help it notice this waitress running around providing great service to me and others. Several reviews mention a server named Leslie. So when she brings me my food I just ask her what her name was, and of course it's Leslie. What a great asset to this restaurant she is, hell I'd go back just to be served by her. We have been coming here for over 30 years now and can't imagine going to any other Sizzler and getting treated any better. Beverly has been there probably as long as we have been eating there and is a real asset to this restaurant. She is always very friendly and always does her job well. Whether she is behind the counter taking over for the owner or waitressing tables she always makes our dining experience nice. Leslie is another great waitress we love to see. We used to have her mom wait on us years ago. It is so nice to see familiar faces in a business which usually has a high turnover. Absolutely wonderful experience! Celebrated a birthday on a Saturday evening 6pm. The place is big and has plenty of room and isn't very packed so seating was quick! Ask for server Leslie! I was very surprised when I came here. She really know how to cook your steak. Usually my husband ordered it medium well. This time he ordered medium well and it came out medium well instead of under cooked like it usually is another steakhouse. The price is very reasonable. The ribeye is still $20. But if you get the combination is pretty cheap. It's actually very busy compared to the Sizzler. We will be back in the crate for steak steak here. read more

No joke I LOVE this place so much to the point where I still come here every year for my birthday. The salad bar is amazing. This is literally the ONLY Sizzler in my area that still serves corn nuggets. Think of a chicken nugget but instead of chicken inside it is creamed corn goodness. That alone warrants my 5 star rating. Their salad bar serves soup, build your own tacos and spaghetti and even has a dessert station. It's basically a mini buffet which is perfect if you are like me and just can't decide what to eat for dinner. You can have a little bit of everything! Garlic cheese bread is always on your table before you even have to ask. It is also endless. You come here knowing what to expect in quality of food. I grew up in this area and remember the great times going to sizzler with friends. One of the great things back then was the portions, they were big with a easy on your wallet price tag. I had a Jones for some sizzler. I hadn't been in years. I always remember the all you can eat shrimp. We use to go with a friend of ours that had the nick name (The bottomless pit) When this guy ate he could put restaurants out of business. Have you ever noticed Shakey's is gone? Yes he ate there too. Anyway where was I? oh yea I went in. The place hadn't changed much since the last time I went many moons ago or did it hmmm...... Now I expect prices to go up over the eons, I mean years. As everything gets more expensive, that's a given. But the portions they seemed to get smaller. The all you can eat shrimp of course is the same, that never goes down that's why they call it "ALL YOU CAN EAT" but as for the combo plates? For Gods sake man Give me some food if your going to charge me for it! I remember the combo plates being bigger for less, So it just makes sense that more money? same size plate of food. Now the Malibu Chicken & steak plate still tastes great, Plus the service was friendly & right there if you needed anything Sizzler still has good food, But if I'm going to pay those prices. I'll go to Matsu's in Huntington Beach for a real big plate of awesome Japanese Food. When it comes to Sizzler, Old memories are just that. Memories!!! nothing more nothing less.
