The damn steak I ordered was medium well but came out well done. The "unlimited shrimp" was full of batter with shrimp as thin as spaghetti noodles. This place has a bad odor! As soon as you walk in the door The smell of urine hits you. I hadn't been to a Sizzler Restaurant in years because the quality had gone downhill. This just reaffirmed why I don't go there. I was with a dinner companion who had chosen this place to eat. Had I been by myself I would have walk right back out. However, she wanted to stay. The food was over priced for what we got. We had ordered 6 shrimp for $11.99. The salad bar had cucumbers that were slimy and yellow. The salad itself was limp. Ordered the salad bar and there isn't much variety. Chicken was salty and salad was a bit wilted. Also ordered the steak and unlimited shrimp. This was the toughest piece of meat I have ever had. No flavor. Potato had a sour cream substitute that looked chunky. The best part of the meal was the unlimited shrimp but by the third plate of shrimp they were hard and stale. Best part of our evening was our wonderful waiter. She was amazing. Prompt and courteous. Had our drinks at our table before we even asked for anything. The broccoli cheddar soup was good. A bad vibe felt for a smart consumer as they seemed to look down on Groupon users. Service was no where to be found, had to ask for bread, plates, no ketchup for fries. Can I ask for ketchup? @front cashier. No, sorry look for your server. They are no where to be found. Shrug...Are you serious? $40 meal Groupon or not Groupon. To recap, food was mediocre. Like Hometown Buffet this place has declined in quality. I cant complain about the service. The steaks are not too bad but overpriced and on the small side. Today i ordered the special, steak kabob. I'm so disappointed with the food management of this restaurant. I got the steak and Malibu chicken plate and the steak was delicious. The chicken was was the problem. I've had this plate before in other restaurants and the chicken has always been an chicken breast. I received at this Sizzler, a chicken patty. Wow ? Sizzler in burbank. Ca is the worst restaurant. I had been going there for the last 15yrs and that place turned into a hot mess ! I had never been to Sizzler's before coming here. It was right across the hotel we were staying at for Knotfest so it was in walking distance. We ordered our food right away and got to choose our own table. I got the salad bar which was absolutely delicious. Brought my kids here cause I had a Groupon thought okay maybe we could have a cheap good dinner well was I wrong When we got to register they have a sign for the Groupon saying you must get regular priced meals or else it doesn't count well I have a seven year old I had to get her an adult salad bar so we all got salad bars and still ended up paying $40.00+ for food that wasn't good at all. Then as they were giving our plates and soup bowls two of the bowls were dirty she had to keep checking them to make sure they weren't dirty. the only thing I ate was the spinach salad that was good and my kids thought everything they got tasted bad so all they really ate was dessert. what a waste of $40+ dollars I rather go to McDonald's read more

Ok, we ONLY went because my mom had a buy one, get one entree. She loves this place but I always thought it was meh. I do like that they have those specials where you can get a meal and add the salad bar but we couldn't use that for our coupon. Ok, so I realized that when you can't get the salad bar, there really are only like 3 food options to choose from and they just put them in different combinations. So, I got the endless shrimp, steak and fries. My mom got a full rack of ribs and veggies. I also got a soda. We paid $23 with the coupon but without it would have been about $40. The portions were definitely big BUT there was so much that went wrong! Ok, first, the table was so dirty. I could feel it on my arm when I put my arm down! We couldn't find anyone to clean it so we tried to wipe it down ourselves (yes, we're ghetto... but it's Sizzler's so who cares!). The napkin was literally BLACK and we only cleaned half the table. It was so gross. So then, my soda tasted like butt and it had to be replaced. Well... we were getting a free meal so we might as well stay, right? Uhmmmm the endless shrimp was so freakin salty that I decided not to eat it and my mom was eating it but peeling off the breading. The steak, we asked for medium and they cooked it well. The veggies were completely dry. The fries weren't good or bad, just there. My mom said the ribs were great but I thought they were mediocre and dry. Seriously, I would have rather gone to Mc Donald's and saved the other $11! So, why do they get more than one star? ONLY because of the waitress. I don't remember her name... Olivia maybe? She was awesome and never let my drink get empty, never let me go without my shrimp (even if my mom was the one eating it all), didn't seem to notice that I was sharing the shrimp (yay), and was very polite and cheerful. I Know you can't expect much from a Sizzlers but man I've been to WAY better ones than this. The salad bar was pretty disappointing food looked like it'd been sitting there since yesterday. I went here last for a birthday dinner for a family member. Sizzler isn't normally where I would choose to go, but it was my cousin's choice. I had the tri tip and a baked potato and the steak was pretty good and cooked to a beautiful medium rare. Our waiter was amazing! He was so attentive and nice. My sister and I came here for the endless salad bar they kept bringing us dirty plates even though we kept letting them know. All of the soups and food was old and dried out. We asked for them to put out fresh corn on the cob and they kept saying its coming but they never put it out even though we reminded them a few times. I was eating my salad and the girl just grabbed my plate with out asking if I'm finished. Even though we told them they never got the manager or did anything to improve. Honestly, it's OK. I come here a lot for work lunches and everytime it's consistently OK. Service is a hit or miss, they are so busy with other tables that it takes awhile to get your soda refilled or new plates and soup bowls. Went there for a family dinner spent more then $110 for 4 adults and one child I waited more then 20 mins for them to bring out more soup by the time they did my steak and endless shrimp had already come out so I no longer wanted soup I ate my shrimp and waited for the waiter to come ask us if we were ok but he never did we finally called him over well he was at another table we told him we wanted to speak to the manager when he came we explained what was happening he did refund one meal and the soup as well as a extra soup that we didn't know they had charged us for our experience was awful will never go there again better off going TGIF or Olive Garden that are within walking distance of this place read more

I know, I know, it's Sizzler. They've been around for decades. But, you know, it's great for lunch. Get the salad bar and enjoy. High turn over means things are usually fresh. If items look a little aged, just avoid them. Soup, soft serve ice cream, salad bar, cheese toast and hot items are included in the price. Servers are very friendly and everyone says "thank you".
